Clinton Makes a College Tour

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton--leader of a student movement?

Maybe not yet. But Clinton is doing her part to court younger voters, a demographic that has tended to gravitate toward Sen. Barack Obama in the early days of the Democratic contest.

On Thursday morning, Clinton is scheduled to speak at Wellesley, her alma mater. Conveniently located just south of the New Hampshire border in Massachusetts, the all-female campus offers Clinton a platform to revisit her days as a student leader while also reminding voters that her presidency would be an historic first.

Clinton is also planning to speak at the University of New Hampshire in Durham later that day. Obama, meanwhile, has made a point recently of emphasizing his appeal toward older voters -- a key demographic in Iowa, where the first voting will take place on January 3.
