From Near-Death to Victory

An excited McCain crowd. (AP)
By Ed O'Keefe
Former New Hampshire congressman and McCain supporter Chuck Douglas tells the crowd assembled here around 8 pm that:
''John almost died on the Forrestal. He almost died in Vietnam. And this summer he almost died in New Hampshire. But you know what? He came back all three times. For a guy who's 76 years old that means he has six more lives.''
''The Mac is back!'' the crowd chants in unison.
Further amplifying the chant, the yellow laminated press passes that serve as credentials for the evening read: ''The Mac is Back New Hampshire 2008.''

chrismadiou:
You do realize that "plastic" Romney will still lead the delegate count after New Hampshire, right?

Old fashion values and good 'ol fashion gumption apparently beats attack advertisement. Romney is plastic.
