CO: Overflow Caucus Crowd
By Josh White
Colorado's caucuses opened at 7 p.m. local time (9 p.m. EST) and were facing an expected crush of voters. Bill Compton, political director for the state Democratic Party, said some locations were so full that people were spilling into the hallways.
Only minor glitches were reported in the early going, with one caucus site, for example, missing its list of registered voters when polling was to begin. Both parties expect to report results from the caucuses in the next few hours.
