GA: Obama Sweeps the State
By Darryl Fears
The Washington Post is projecting that Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) has won the Georgia Democratic primary. Obama led Clinton by a substantial margin in polling throughout the campaign, a lead she apparently couldn't overcome. Obama felt so comfortable with his lead, 48 percent to 28 percent according to a Reuters/C-Span/Zogby International poll, that he campaigned in the state for a final time at a church in Macon more than a week ago.
