MN: Obama Takes State
By Christopher Lee
The Washington Post and several other news outlets are projecting Barack Obama as the winner over Hillary Clinton in the Minnesota Democratic caucuses.
Both Obama and Clinton had campaigned in the state over the weekend, but Obama also invested in television ads in recent weeks while the Clinton campaign chose to spend its TV money in other states. The state has 88 delegates to the party's national convention -- the seventh-most of all the Super Tuesday states -- and 72 of them will be awarded in proportion to the share of the vote candidates collect tonight.
