MT: Romney and McCain Neck and Neck

Mitt Romney, the first Republican presidential candidate to invest in a full-time state organization in Montana, and John McCain, who came in later, were in a virtual tie in early returns from the state's first-ever Republican caucus.

And in no surprise to observers of prairie-fire, libertarian movements in the West in recent decades, Ron Paul was fully in the hunt and tied with Mike Huckabee for third position.
