OK: Networks Call for Clinton
By Marc Kaufman
Hillary Clinton has won the Oklahoma primary, according to calls by The Washington Post and the major networks. Democratic Party Chairman Ivan Holmes said that he had not gotten formal notice of the vote totals, but Clinton did appear to be well ahead.
Holmes also said that despite widespread rain across the state, the voter turnout appeared to be above 30 percent -- a record except for 1996, when a local issue brought out more voters.
