Clinton Sidesteps Questions About Staying in the Race

By Perry Bacon Jr.
GARY, Ind. -- Hillary Clinton, who vowed earlier this month to stay in the race until Democratic officials figured out a way to seat the delegations of Michigan and Florida at the party's national convention in August, hinted yesterday that she might reconsider the state of her campaign if she loses in Indiana.

In satellite interviews with television stations in Indiana and Kentucky, Clinton three times sidestepped questions about whether she would remain in the race if she lost Indiana's May 6 primary.

"We have a long way to go," Clinton told a Louisville station when asked if she would campaign in Kentucky if she lost Indiana. "I'm looking forward to coming up to Kentucky." The Bluegrass State holds a primary on May 20.

Pressed on the question, she said, "Well, I don't make any predictions or speculate on things that haven't happened yet."

Asked a similar question by a station in Evansville, Ind., she hewed to her message and avoided future commitments. "I'm thinking about how I'm going to do well in Indiana," she said.

More than a week before critical votes in Indiana and North Carolina, Clinton spent yesterday making stops in Obama country. The senator started off in Jacksonville, N.C., challenging Obama to a debate in the Tar Heel State four different times in a single speech. Obama holds a double-digit lead in some North Carolina polls and has not committed to a debate there.

Clinton then flew to Indiana, holding a rally at the University of Indiana in Bloomington, and also events in Gary and East Chicago, Ind., areas close to Chicago that are likely to be strongholds for her opponent. Clinton aides said that they hope to limit Obama's margin in areas where he is strong, and that the former first lady is determined to keep wooing college students and blacks no matter how strong Obama is among those groups.

Though polls show a deadlocked race in Indiana, Clinton cast herself as the underdog.

"It's going to be a tough state for me. About twenty-five percent of the state gets media from Chicago, which is certainly an advantage for Senator Obama," she said in an interview with an Evansville television station. "He is running a lot of ads, outspending me."

I couldn't agree more with james d granata, who left the preceding posts. It is high time for Hillary and that most dysfunctional of American families we know as the Clintons to go and enjoy their well deserved obscurity. For to long the Clintons in their zeal to return to power in the White House, have employed their significant skills of deceit, smear, and race politics in their effort to confuse, divide, and fool the electorate. They are now consciously or unconsciously damaging the chances of the only Democratic Party candidate in the primary process who has a significant chance to win in November. Hillary Clinton can't win the nomination, and she should not be elected President based on her dubious record, and her divisive Clintonian politics.

Let's support the man from Illinois. The last time that America did hat we ended up with a great President. I suspect Barack Obama has the capacity to become another great American President. Isn't it time for a real change?

'Hillary knows how to act presidential'

Some sycophant just posted the above. The quote doesn't need any specificity it should just read 'Hillary knows how to act' so elect Obama president: award Hillary an Oscar.

the FAUX real clear politics posted: 'Hillary Clinton is a practical, intelligent, strategic individual who has the skill-set and will to do what is necessary to lead this country out of a recession and into a brighter future.'

MRS Clinton is none of the above nor will she rescue the country. Why do we have to elect MRS Clinton to the presidency before she works her magic? She has been in NY State for eight years (the max time she can be president) and the western part of the state has become a disaster. Niagara Falls, one of the world's seven wonders, is in danger of losing its status as a city. The jobs Hillary promised while campaigning never materialized. She blamed George Bush's presidency for the fact she didn't deliver on her campaign promises. perhaps she should have figured out an alternate plan in case Gore lost. The practical MRS Clinton doesn't appear to ever have a backup plan. MRS Clinton entered the fray with more advantages than any candidate in our history and because of arrogance, incompetence, stupidity, and no back up plan when she didn't lock up the nom. on Super Tuesday is trailing a tyro. The smartest woman in the world should be made aware that when the press is present they may be recording the event so if she must lie (and obviously she must) she should not lie about facts. what a fool is she and her followers need to pay attention. the best indicator of future behavior is past behavior. Remember she is where she is because of Hype, Hubby, and Hyperbole not because she ever did anything of note.

Has anyone asked Obama when he plans to quit?

Why are these questions constantly being asked of Senator Clinton? Why would she want to quit when she just won in Pennsylvania?

It sure doesn't sound very presidential to me that Obama exhorted an Indiana crowd to chant, "Yes, we're pissed." What!!! And that's b/c he thought he ought to have won the nomination sooner. I propose he quit b/c that just sounds awful.

Well, Hillary should have won the nomination. Excuse me, but Obama intruded big time.

Hillary knows how to act presidential and move on.

Obama is just politically immature....poor fellow. But poor us, if he wins the nomination!

Yep, heard about segregation explained exactly this way in the 1950s - "Birds of a feather flock together." Unfortunately for some, this dog does not hunt anymore. It is obvious to me that people would prefer to listen to sound bites (says something about American intelligence) than to listen to extended versions. Heaven help those who have minds set in stone. Heaven help those who have never had to suffer the indignities of others, but still spill forth with all of their own sanctimonious statements. Remember, the right wing is also where one may find "fascist" and "Nazi." I know that the left wing is where may find communism. Read Jesus' teachings and tell me which side he was closer to. Read his response to the rich young ruler for a clue.

Obama please step aside and go back to Senate 101.

In my last-preceding post (addressed to roncraw), I made the mistake of using some of the actual (and ungrammatical) language of the Democrat Party's statement of the purpose of superdelegates. Below I correct my mistake (and render my post grammatical and logically elegant).

roncraw | April 26, 2008 4:23 PM:

Which numbers? National? Big state? States that may go Blue? Popular votes of particular primaries (of states specially pertinent to individual superdelegates?)? Caucus outcomes? Local? Numbers of states "won"?

The superdelegates ARE free to vote for the candidate they like or the one they consider the more electable or the one that democratic process (voting and caucus results) "chooses" or even the one favored by their particular constituencies. But ought their choices be moderated by the purpose of the superdelegates?

In the fall of 1968, the Democratic Party changed its nomination process according to the report of the McGovern-Fraser Commission. The change sought to make Democratic Party Conventions less subject to control of party leaders and more responsive to the votes cast during the campaign for the nomination. But that purpose begs the question whether the influential nomination-campaign votes (including caucus results) ought to be counted nationwide, not in the political locale of the particular superdelegate.

Since the Party's goal ought to be not just winning but winning to promote its platform and political, social, and economic philosophy, the pertinent "votes" ought to be those that suggest both (a) electoral trends pertinent to winning and (b) electoral trends that ought to influence the Party's platform and political, social, and economic philosophy. So, the Oklahoma Governor acted on sound premise, and his act does NOT undermine the argument that Obama ought to be nominated because "he has the numbers."

I don't care if the next President knows how to gulp down a shot of whiskey and drink local beer for the cameras.

But it would sure be welcome if he or she would team up with Congress instead of fighting everybody so we could get a working health care system. I don't even care if its achieved all the way in one play or by steps toward universal coverage as long as we get there instead of just arguing about it endlessly.

Yes I know every thing is tied together and we have got to get this war ended so our economy can get healthy again so we can move toward health care for all, everybody.

But we need a leader who can lead with good ideas and judgment and lead others, in particular lead our law makers. We are going to have a Congress whether it makes us happy or put out. We have got to get a leader that is a team player because you can't hog the ball and win in this league.

These are pretty high standards and if some body isn't able to meet them by getting the consent of us governed then that person should step aside so some body else can do the job.

One day, a girl awakened fatherless, her home destroyed -- even its barn that bore a target her dad had painted to teach her to shoot.

Disguised as a boy, she trekked the Himalayas & Antarctica & the shores of Lake Erie & the deserts of Nevada & California & Washington DC & the cobbled ways of Ulster & Manhattan's canyoned streets. Even did she brave a strafing of a Bosnian airport.

Then in a real folk's tavern, she downed a whiskey & a beer -- and wept: "Where's father? Where's home?" She fainted on the sawdust-covered floor & awoke above the clouds before a great white gate.

Inside stood a gaunt & bearded, loincloth-wearing man. She put her nose between two bars. "Father?" she begged.

"Pinocchio?" the gaunt & bearded, loincloth-wearing man inquired with a whisper.

When the jobs and income are down in my community...the violence goes up. The robery of the 7/11 takes place. People have to eat. Parents find any mode they can to provide for their hungry children. I think I understand being that bitter and that in need. Many of us are there or are on the brink. And when you feel the govn't doesn't listen or care....you get bitter. And please save the.. What's this stuff about Obama's new image. Not so! There's been a lot of spin about various words, preachers, and so forth. However, Barack is the same nice, forward-looking, intelligent person who can make us proud to be Americans again. The mangled-speaking President that represented the best that the Repubicans could give us for 8 years is about to be replaced. Both Hillary and Barack can give wonderful speeches. However, Barack is NOT given to sarcasm. Even his "bitter" speach was not uttered in less than respectful tones. There ARE bitter people in this country. There are people who turn to their faith during times of hardship and so forth. Perhaps Hillary will discover this soon enough. Only the truly elite among us have not experienced hardship, bitterness, and a turning to God. There is a reason that David wrote Psalm 23 among others. Too bad that politics has come to the point that every word is parsed for the worst possible meaning, regardless of the intention of the speaker.

OBAMA"S NEW IMAGE

Last Tuesdays voting in Pennsylvania was the first since Obama's Wright and San Francisco fiascos, and Clinton won big time. Clinton has some baggage too, but now that Obama's character has been exposed, she has a level playing field. Had voters known more about Obama's close dealing with shady characters and his hate-filled racist pastor at the outset, the overall voting results would be different today. That's unfortunate, but at least voters now know he sticks up for anti-Americans and deals with unscrupulous people. He will still get support however from like kind, or at least those who have other agendas than ethics.

I am completely horrified by the tone of some of these comments. And it is absolutely true that some of you, in reacting against racism, are only creating another strain. If everyone would just stop hating, things will eventually right themselves. Sure there is still racism, but it's time is over, and the numbers are dwindling. The biggest challenges to overcome now are economic and the greatest tool towards that end is education. The country has taken mad steps towards equality in the last 50 years; please don't breed hatred and impede that progress. The hate you put forward only makes the racists feel justified, and keeps the cycle of bigotry spinning. I grew up in the 70's, and went to an elementary school that was 50/50 black and white kids. I didn't know anything about slavery, or inequality until it was taught to me when I was older. My second and third grade teachers were black women who had my respect and appreciation - Mrs. Cornish, and Mrs. Taylor. My band teacher in middle school was a fabulous black man named Earl Brown, and he not only had my respect, but my greatest affection. He was a extraordinary teacher who taught us not only how to play music, but to love it - for me, R&B, blues, and jazz in particular. Not only that, but he also taught me to believe in myself and my talents. Or how about Mrs. Bivens, a marvelous black teacher in my high school who finally helped me to truly understand the concept of Algebra, enabling me to take such classes at University as Calculus based Physics (which I loved). I am a white woman for whom the world would be a much sadder place had it not been for the great black men and women who influenced my youth, and I am grateful the world changed, and made it possible for them to so enrich my life.

Look at this mess!

Black hate! White hate! Class hate! Religious hate! What in the he@# is going on?

Why do we all allow ourselves to be deliberately worked into an emotional frenzy by politicians and the media every 2 to 4 years or so? Why do we allow the politics of division to continue to serve its purpose despite the fact that it does NOT serve our interests?

To my white brothers and sisters: I am not saying that there are no AA citizens who think like the posters you read above, but in all likelihood, what you have here are folks deliberately stoking anger and hatred for sport. They are likely not even black. I'm as Afrocentristic as they come and don't buy half of this smut. The arguments made above are likely made by radicals or simpletons who just want to stoke the fears of citizens and incite hate and division. They fear real UNITY in our country so that play on the fears of others. If you observe folks trashing your culture in the name of being white, you too, should speak out!!

To my black brothers and sisters: When you see ignorance like that being spewed on this site and others, denounce it and let the world know that although we may feel we have a ways to go with race relations, we are better than the vile hatred of the few pretending to be in our ranks. We are a strong people who have overcome more in our collective pasts than most can begin to understand and we owe neither an explanation or defense for who we are as a people.

To the rest, regardless of your politics: rise above the division that politics is attempting to serve in its own interests. Class knows know color these days and so we have more in common than we allow ourselves to recognize. Vote your hearts, thoughts, beliefs and passions and remember that at our core, we all want the same thing. All we disagree on is how we get there.

Let's remember the UNITED in the USA. I could give a rat's a@# about what any politician's campaign suggests that flies in the face of that. There are those that do not want unity, yes, however THEY are the true minority. But they, too, can still have their needs and desires met in a UNITED States regardless of their fears.

Vote for who you choose, but just vote. Then remember to smile at your neighbor when you're done, K?

The Clinton's were much better positioned before they entered this race.

They entered as the former First Family. They now present as typical, "white trash." (I don't really think they are "trash" but how could they know how to "stroke the coals of race" unless they have spent some time in, "HOOD-land."

I will never forgive or forget all of this "code speech, winking and nodding" the Clinton's are signaling to white racist americans. I could care less about how the rest of their life unfolds. They no longer hold a place of respect in my mind.

I have been truly bamboozled by the Clinton's. I am a mature adult who deseves to stand there and take a slapping for trusting this southern white couple.

HERE'S THE REAL STORY !!!!! The media diagnoses every demo....the old...young...rich....poor...educated....uneducated.... bowlers, gun toters and beer drinkers.....And somehow ALWAYS finds a way to give the advantage to Clinton. But just yesterday, the media finally began to raise the most incredible point in the whole race. HILLARY HAS LOST THE SUPPORT OF AN ENTIRE RACE OF PEOPLE !!!!!!!! Do you know how incredibly sad this fact is ? Hillary Clinton (who's husband was so loved as to have been called The First Black President) has alienated the black people of America to such a degree that there is no way blacks will support her EVER. This has nothing to do with Obama !!!! Keep in mind folks....Hillary started this campaign with 82% of the black support. But as blacks learned more about her (Goldwater Girl....Against Civil Rights Act of '64...etc.) combined with her LBJ statements and Bill's minimizing of Obama (fairy tale...Jesse won S.Carolina too...etc) blacks were shocked...and then incredibly offended by these revelations to a degree that can never be recovered. WE FEEL DECEIVED !!!! We hope that our friends of all races understand how we as blacks feel. This is the main story that needs to get out to the superdelegates. People across America are contacting the DNC 202-863-8000 to let them (and superdelegates) know that Hillary ABSOLUTELY KILLED HER ELECTABILTY. The truth is the truth !

I'm tired of hearing that Obama lost the last debate. It was a farce, a lynching. He has stated, as has the media, that you don't just show up for a debate. It takes a few days away fom campaigning. So I think Obama is wise to stay on the ground and campaign. As speaking of wise.....I'm also tired of hearing how Hillary won the big states. (I'm from Ohio and the news was how to charge those that switched parties for a day and vote for Hillary, per Rush Limbaugh, to disrubt the election. But here's the thing....wise Obama (his plan has been published and been noted on msnbc) actually had a plan on how to win this election. And reality has followed it closely. He plotted how to get the delegates he needs. I definitely want a president that plots to win, rather than one who acts on intuition or emotion. I want Obama to plot against our failing economy, I want him to plot about our security. He is the only one running that approaches from an intellectual standpoint. Why can't you see this?

I can't imagine how scared and unsure you are of your politicians, the country you fought and died for. We also are watchful in Canada, but we have the simplicity of a vote of confidence, meaning two minorities can call for a non confidence vote. End of story, expensive yes, but we can have an election in months. Then a new life, sometimes better, and sometimes worse. What a world.

When is there going to be any stories about Hillary's addiction to pain killers? Is this like the best kept secret among her close friends or the media just won't talk about it. At some point she is going to collapse right on the campaign trail or have an all out stroke, (she is 60) and then maybe it will come out. She can't function on drugs indefinitely.

Obama VOTED "YES" in support of Cheney's Energy Bill that was developed with the help of the OIL COMPANIES.

Senator Hillary Clinton voted "NO" against the Cheney Energy Bill.

Maybe the Washington Post should investigate the latest racist smear of Obama-- white conservatives (or maybe they're crazy Hillary people) posting insane parodies of black people on the internet in order to tie Obama with what? Raping whitey? Ending universal suffrage?

The attempt only proves that some of the most vocal critics of Obama are just liars and racists, a constituency that the Republicans will dominate in November anyway.

I don't see equality for all men. I resent having to push 1 for English. Up until a few years ago ALL imigrants learned our language....didn't matter where they came from, Poland, Germany, Italy...they all learned it. They "fit" in. Sears has wall hanging in Spanish showing their different depts. If you want in to our counrty, you should BLEND in...like your ancestors did. And do credit companies only outsourch to India? You can't understand 3/4 of them but yet they want us to buy card fraud protection from them. Shame on the country we used to be. I admire the imigrants who came and worked hard, and built their futures here. They had it very hard but they perservered. Why have we lowered our standards?....$$$$$?

I look for Clinton to crack very soon and even possibly have a break down in public. I have been watching her closely lately and she shows all the signs. Her so called strength is a front. Now with her Husband becoming the undermining problem in the campaign the stress ratchets up even higher. You can't just distance yourself from or fire your husband. I also see her splitting from him when this is over. He is no longer an asset and the marriage has just been one of convenience to her for years anyway.

It seems unlikely to me that Hillary will step down from this campaign until she is forced to. Will the party leaders have the guts to take a strong position? I am not a Republican but they say Democrats will find a way to lose. We have a hard time taking a position.

After IN and NC are over, barring an unanticipated outcome, it is time for Pelosi and crew to induce Hillary to come off the stage and if she still fights, give her the hook.

I'd like add that we are landlords. We were the first to rent to a black family in our little prejudice town. I could have been run of of town...I didn't care. They proved to be excellent tenants. I see some of the white "trash" that fellow landlords rent to on the street. Most of the husbands are content to sit home day after day and collect welfare. They get a job and then they no-show and then don't see their fragile futures and those of their children lost to them forever.

Did any of you watch the speach Obama gave on the anniversary of Selma? He spoke to "his" people and asked them to take the high road, to clean up their neighborhoods (pick up the trash, take responsibility). Just like Bill Cosby, they are both asking their people to take responsibility. They see everyman as equal, they want all to get together, but they see that some of "their" brothers aren't pitching in. I'm sure Obama would be against some of the "typical" speak coming from "his" people. He stands for change, he sgtands for responsibility, he stands for unity. If you want to help him, stop all these hazardous comments and grow up. I'm white and I've grown up never being prejudice. I see incredible blacks who I admire, black friends that I admire, a black doctor delivered my daughter. I also see the black man living up to the "image" some whites have of them....brought about by their own behavior. If you want him to win....I guess some of you ned to shut up.

the questions should have been aimed at Obama in regards to "If you lose yet another major state to Senator Clinton, will you step aside and acknowledge her as the better hope for your party?"
THAT is the only real hope for a completely smooth transition in this matter and he should be the one making those considerations, not the person who keeps winning.

Haha, this is so hilarious. We have Democrats fighting over whose a real Obama supporter, Clinton supporter or Obama and Clinton plants (and you people are absolutely ridiculous to claim that the other is expending resources to "plant" fake supporters on an online blog that maybe only a handful of people are going to read; and if you are doing that, that is doubly pathetic and shows how corrupt your party really is). Then we have people claiming to be black, and others claiming to be black saying the other one isn't black. Way to go Democrats.

This is proving my theory all along. The Democratic Party has always been racist. I think black people are finally waking up and seeing the Democratic Party for what it is.

The Republican Party will promote better race relations. And to those posters like Mexican President who are lamenting the inattention given to Asians and Latinos, Republicans believe in real equality. Unlike the Democrats who continuously wish to take advantage of minorities and keep them ignorant, Republicans support strong family values and a color-blind society. Democrats wish to keep you ignorant. This election is a wake-up call, and the protracted primary fight should be a lesson to all Americans why Democrats are the last thing this country needs during these troubled times. Note, the Democratic Congress has done absolutely nothing, and they actually continue to support the war. It takes both the President to commit U.S. troops and the Congress (Democratic-controlled) for American sons and daughters to be continuously in harm' way. If your against the war, vote out the Democratic Congress - they have failed you.

Are you people all crazies typing away a basement somewhere?

I'm guessing the Washington Post does no post moderating, based on the garbage I've seen here.

How cool would it be if we could actually discuss the pros and cons of the candidates without the discssion devolving into the kind of ridiculous, vicious, infantile name-calling that passes for "commentary" on these posts. The country is in serious trouble, people. It's lost its international stature, its currency dominance (the dollar is now an global laughingstock), its healthy economy, its moral authority and so many other things. What has become clear during this race is that Americans are seriously divided, both by race and class, and that we are never going to deal with these problems because we're too busy trying to shout or beat each other out of the negotiating room.

You can scream at each other and insult each other and make yourselves look like idiots all you want, but that is not going to make things better for anyone.

I love the US. I don't want to see it implode. But that's what's going to happen.

Its just like a white dude to try to take power away, live in denial, or react with sarcasm.
Ignore it all you want, deny it, pat each other on the back, kick it with your "black" friends.
I apologize for not fitting your stereotypical black male. But I have no remorse, frankly my dear, I don't give a f*ck that your a racist and you can only see black males as ignorant and as uncle toms.

White racism is much more dangerous than black racism. And the comments here are clearly illustrative of this. White people hold the reins of power and when they hear or see something they don't agree with, they suppress it by denial or ignoring it. And they try to divide people. They'll stick an uncle tom in power or put a corny black dude on television telling white audiences exactly what they want to hear.

Here we have so-called Democrats masquerading as blacks denouncing a real black man. Are we back in the 18th century? Seriously, I'm blown by this commentary, but I'm gonna stay up and do what I gotta do. I didn't get to where I am by being discouraged by some racist, coniving white folk. To my real brethren out there, watch for snakes. Back in the day, racists could be readily identified with white robes and pointy hats, today its a lot harder - they root for black athletes and attempt (emphasis on the attempt) to act black, and pretend to be down with black people. Watch for snakes. And when you spot one - and believe me there's a lot of them - you know what to do. 1.

Posted by: flarrfan | April 26, 2008 7:24 AM | Report abuse

To the uneducated white folk of this forum the post listed under "treyshaun" at 6:58am is by a white dude named togba who likes to come on these blogs and front like he's a black man. This is politics and racism at its worse ladies and gentlemen.
In the days of Jim Crow and black codes, white men would often dress as black males to mock them. Today these racist white men view hip hop and black culture as a 21st minstrel show. They would also like you to think that there are only two types of black people: 1) ignorant black folk who can't get their act together without the help of the white man, and 2) educated black folk who got to where they're at with the help of the white man and who essentially act like uncle toms (e.g. colin powell and condi rice).
Well, here's a reality check for you. Black people aren't all hood, and middle-class blacks aren't all uncle toms. I'm an educated black male who got to where I am not because of some white dude or because I acted white or played a corny game to get to where I'm at today. I don't white people sh**. And unlike what racist white folk like togba would like you to believe, I can be successful and still see the racism in American society.
This scares white America for a black male to rise up and still not buy into the mainstream America. Mainstream America is white America, and I will not compromise my beliefs just so I can make some racist white folk happy about their fu*ked up view of "ideal" race relations.
Black males like me will come at you from multiple angles. And frankly you aren't prepared for this. We're coming at you on some real sh**, and you better believe your scared. Your time is done. Move over. It's our time now. 1.

I wonder how the rest of the world views this election.

Also, its time we put all these petty attacks and focus on some real issues - like pulling out of the recession, keeping our neighborhoods safe, and ensuring that America remains a leader in the international arena.

But wait, the Obama campaign has other ideas - like calling everyone who doesn't support them a racist. Seems like a 21st century red scare. Senator McCarthy looked absolutely ridiculous accusing the Army officers of being communists. Today, Obama supporters look absolutely ridiculous accusing prominent civil rights supporters (who aren't black) as racists.

Politics of division may work initially, but the American people aren't that stupid. And luckily the Framers had checks for popular demagoguery. You can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

People are starting to wise up and see the hypocrisy. Obama is one gifted charlatan, but like all tricks, its gone up in smoke. Obama your time is done, you owe the American people of all races an apology, and I think you should spend your time dealing with your own personal issues.

Nuclear Hillary speaks out.

Clinton further displayed tough talk in an interview airing on "Good Morning America" Tuesday. ABC News' Chris Cuomo asked Clinton what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons.

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," Clinton said. "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."

ABC also points out that the rhetoric contradicts earlier statements by Clinton not to engage in hypothetical speculation.

My question is: What if her intelligence is as faulty as Dick Cheney and George Bush's was?

"Oops: I just "obliterated" 71,000,000 men, women, and children by mistake." "Guess I better get out of the kitchen. It's getting pretty hot in here."

Please, ladies and gentlemen. No more Clinton drama in the White House. Our country and the rest of the world will be a better place with them back in their estate in Chappaqua, New York. Bill can even get a maid to do the housework for him.

I have never been so Saddened for years with the current state of the Democratic Race, reading some of the posts on this "Washington Post" website, we are being dragged back to the sad days of the 1960's by a few and the Majority must not allow it!

Hillary R Clinton has had the opportunity to do what is right for The Democratic Party and for personal greed and vanity she is not willing to put her Party First. Now we have to bring that dreaded word "race" back into politics something so many of us hoped we had put behind us, on threads today we read Clinton Supporters asking a certain section of The Democratic Party to Leave or Walk Away then Hillary's Core Vote will come back to the Party, this is nothing less than a Disgrace and it is like her Lies & Smears another Strategy Disaster by her Campaign Team and The DNC just sit back and say all is well! who are they trying to FOOL?

It is no wonder polls are showing that over 50% now of all voters are tired of the NEGATIVE CAMPAIGN!

Wake up DNC before it is far too late, one candidate calls for you to change a decision you made and agreed to! with regards Florida and Michigan, just for her own benefit, you should not even consider it!

The YOUTH of our Great Country, all ages, sexes and race have backed BARACK OBAMA in big numbers because he UNITES they do not have the hatred of the 60's in them, so the DNC must stand up and be counted NOW! and stop the campaign of lies, smears and now hatred before it is too late and our November opportunity for the White House is thrown away.

I've seen these same types of comments on different sites and their style of writing is unmistakable.
This is a white person trying to sound and act black on some sites and white on others.
He always gives false and misleading information without giving a source from which it comes.
I feel sorry for him or her,as they obviously lead a very meaningless and empty life to be able to devote so much of life's precious time,to something so shallow as this.
At a time when people of all races have so much in common, the same problems with the economy, foreclosures, gas prices, the war, ect.,here is someone who would rather we focus our attention on false and misleading negativity.
Please ,Do Not Let Them FOOL You.
As democrats,we have far more important issues in common, together, rather than apart.

Hillary and her supporters are obviously a confused lot. I think they meant to register at the GOP office but for the reasons of their less intelligence, they all ended up at the Democratic Party.

Fair democracy is one thing they do not exercise. They are a strange paradox to a truly democratic society. Amen.

Woman! Black people are angry. I am angry and I am not even black. Decent people in America are angry with your carrying-ons. We don't want you to hang around anymore. You stir up the worst instincts in everyone. You truly belong in the GOP and we don't understand why you are running as a Democrat.

Basically, you want to stay in the race long enough to know for sure whether you can cheat your way out with Michigan and Florida, right? This is the reason why the spineless party leaders should come out in unison once and for all to declare 'NO', RULES ARE RULES, EVEN TO YOU MADAM!

treetracker, thanks for your astute post.

For the conspiracy theorists out there, a little common sense is in order. If we entertain the idea that Barack Obama is a Muslim extremist who is being surreptitiously inserted in our White House to... what? Drop Islamic troops into our neighborhoods and round us up or put us under guard? Do you really think that the people of this nation would sit back and let that happen? Thanks to that pesky second amendment there are a lot of us that are armed and we wouldn't allow that to happen. Ironically that would be one thing that would be certain to transcend the racial divide. We'd see gang members shoulder to shoulder with hunters along with vets organizing operations to take back our country.

We cannot continue to fan the flame of hatred from other countries - we cannot afford to let our racism, nationalism and fear to walk into more war. We need to unite and force our government to use diplomacy to help ease the tensions so that all nations can cooperate to face the crises that are looming. Divided we fail.

The only thing Obama supporters can do is attack Hillary Clinton.
Maybe its because Obama has nothing to stand on.

If your strongest argument is an attack on another person...maybe you should reevaluate your reasons for supporting your candidate.

Seems like history is repeating itself. Democrats have always been the party of slavery and black oppression. Dixiecrats we should to call them. Seems like the ole Dixiecrats have been resurrected.
I've had a problem with the Democratic party since the election. Essentially the message elite white liberals has been, "Black man, your too stupid to do this on your own so I'm going to convince white america that you can't make it without the help of white men like me. "
I am a black male who is strongly against affirmative action and giving preferential treatment or extra points because of race. You are already stereotyping and this is racism. You are essentially saying, I cannot compete, because I am black, and somehow inferior. Well, I don't need your handouts.
Your a racist for thinking I can't do this on my own. My brethren, if you don't see this, your really are on some other sh**.
Don't vote for Obama because he's black. Vote for him because you think he's the best candidate. And he's not. He's not even down with black people. USE YOUR BRAIN. Dude, grew up in Indonesia and Hawaii. How many negroes do you see in these countries. The dude is using us for his own selfish ambitions.
Don't be played, don't be fooled. And please abandon the Democratic Party. It's filled with old white fools who think blacks can't make it on their on.

Clinton only started complaining about the money Obama spends after she blew through her vaunted treasure chest at the end of January.

Suddenly, it's "He's outspending me..." which only reminds me that he has the funds to run his campaign because he did not expect to walk to a coronation after Iowa. He knew he'd have to run in all states. He was the most unknown of all the candidates at the start--but he obviously knew enough to realize that it would be state by state until June.

He raised money with that plan in mind, he organized his state volunteers to maximize his resources and he has added record numbers of new and active voters to the rolls.

That's why the republicans fear him and desperately want Hillary to to clinch the nomination, even if she has to use their playbook to do it.

Hillary's campaign has been the most poorly managed enterprise, second only to her health care debacle.

She blamed first one, then another, campaign manager. All along, she's blamed the voters for daring to use "undemocratic" caucuses, and the states she lost for being "small" (whether they were or not) and southern states for being "black" ...Hillary is good at blaming and crying victim.

She runs a lousy campaign and only wins in states where the local party has a machine that can deliver, and she only wins by running negative attacks that can and will harm the party in the Fall.

But every day, more of her loyalists jump ship, and every day, another super delegate declares against her, and every day, another group/association/party leader stands with Obama.

Is there anyone left to blame for all this??

If the only way she can continue to get attention is to throw bricks and mud, the media will write it up, because they love a good gutter fight. But how does this help Democrats?

She has a lot of women backing her because they think she's being treated unfairly because she is a woman. But every time she fails to meet one of her goals, or is beaten to it, she cries foul and argues to change the rules in the middle of the game.

That is playing to stereotypical antifeminist notion that a woman can't win on her own merits.

When a woman I can trust to be honest and act appropriate to the office she aspires to appears on the national election scene, she'll get my vote.

This year, it's time for a real change. The only candidate who has a slight chance of delivering that is Obama. And enough people agree that he's got funds to carry him to June with out him having to morph into a new characature each week chasing a spotlight.

Once again, you're absolutely right. He was running for the Senate on an anti-war campaign. He was against the war. Hillary voted for it. It was thought, at the time, it was to show just how tough she could be. Now, 4000 American Troops are dead, tens of thousands of our troops are wounded for life, more than a million Iraqis are dead, and this country's going broke because of the war that Hillary voted for.

...but let's not talk of that...let's talk about bowling, or flag-pins, pastors and, of course, let's talk about race.

RE: "WHAT IS ALL THIS RACISM ON THE WEB"

answer:

RACE RIOTS

Don't you know? The strategy of the Clinton/Republican campaign (they are the same): is to reduce this election to one about race.

And it's worked. Obama has been marginalized to be being the Black candidate. Now, the plan is to foment racial hate...and have the "whites" vote against him.

As Rush Limbaugh has indicated: the latest strategy for both Clinton and the Republicans are to have race riots this summer.

Because, as you so correctly observed: "They are just doing whatever it takes to win the nomination"...and if inciting racial hatred is what is necessary, Clinton/McCain will do it.(are doing it)

Mrs. Clinton did indeed vote for the war, and to my knowledge has never answered the accusation, true or false: did she or did she not read the NIE report, which might have swayed her against authorizing the war (as it had with a number of her colleagues.)

Instead, there she sits, glowing from the "kitchen sink" payoff, presidential candidate. Should she prevail in this race (one that only she feels invigorated by), she would--as president--have to wrestle with this Iraq issue all over again on a whole 'nuther level. And she better read everything this time.

I wonder if Rev. Wright sees this Clinton possibility as some kind of karmic chicken come-home-to-roost at Hillary's doorstep for voting yes to the war in the first place. It makes her anti-war stance now seem like she doesn't think very highly of the voting public's intelligence.

I don't think I'm alone when I say I am wondering if the PA. debate sound bites are playing on Arab television in snippet loop form like our media did with Rev. Wright's two sermons; so Clinton comes off on al-Jazeera sounding like she is ready from Day One to blow Iran off the face of the earth. (This new side of Mrs. Clinton may be considered as perhaps not the best one to present if trying to open a dialog with Middle East countries. Oh right, Clinton already said she would not talk to Iran unless certain conditions were met... as determined by her.

Her sudden bellicosity was a shock to the debate audience in a night of shocking occurrences. Mrs. Clinton on Iran sounded more Republican than McCain, because McCain can always (unconvincingly) hide behind his Iran/Beach Boy gaffe as "a joke", or a "senior moment", whereas Mrs. Clinton was not joking at that debate no way no how. [You can tell when Mrs. Clinton is telling a joke or wittism: it is painfully unfunny or unwitty ("...change you can xerox" is one such example (which also falls hollow because it talks in her adviser's voice).

Also, just about any sentence she begins with "I remember...",

Like, "Y'know, I remember coming off the plane at Tuzla and there we were me and little Chelsea, I opened my Abercrombie & Fitch Australian waterproof oil duster coat and draped half around Chelsea like a mother goose might do to her gosling, running hand-in-hand across the tarmac, honking our way into at night WITH OUR HEADS DOWN,"

or, "I remember my grandfather who worked at the blah-blah-blah plant in Scranton and on weekends he would be teachin' me how to shoot and he would tell me, 'a girl's gotta take care of herself," then then he'd teach me how to drink. Boilermakers it was, 'cuz a girls gotta learn how to drink anyway, may as well learn it in the safety of Grandpa's lap.

Dems' suspense may be unnecessary
By ELIZABETH DREW | 4/25/08 4:47 AM EST

The torrent of speculation about the end game of the Democratic nomination contest is creating a false sense of suspense -- and wasting a lot of time of the multitudes who are anxious to know how this contest is going to turn out.

Notwithstanding the plentiful commentary to the effect that the Pennsylvania primary must have shaken superdelegates planning to support Barack Obama, causing them to rethink their position, key Democrats on Capitol Hill are unbudged.

Fred, let's not go there. The trade laws and the presidential candidates involvements in them will only lead to one conclusion, which is out of Hillary, McCain, and Obama, Obama has the best slate and history when it comes to supporting fair and balanced trade laws. McCain already admits he supported the trade laws which costs hundreds of thousand of American jobs. Hillary can only claim secretly she opposed NAFTA. Meanwhile her first lady schedule shows that she did more to support NAFTA than she lets on. And the recent CAFTA deal just underscores the conflicts of interest Hillary has when Mark Penn lobbies for Colombia and Bill Clinton gets "speaking fees" for supporting the deal in which Hillary uses the same joint money to finance her campaign.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but a lot of knowledge is a weapon!

OBAMA'S NAFTA LIES: The Obama campaign offered at least five different, and frequently contradictory explanations, of Goolsbee's meeting with the Canadian government. According to a memo produced by the Canadian government, Goolsbee told the Canadians not take Obama's anti-NAFTA rhetoric seriously because it was merely "political positioning."

5. 3/10/08 - Sen. Obama: The meeting did happen, they did discuss NAFTA, but advisor just said Obama wanted to make NAFTA 'stronger for U.S. workers.' "So here's what happens. You've got one of my economic advisors goes and visits a Canadian embassy and they're asking him questions and he says, 'Well, Senator Obama isn't planning to repeal NAFTA, but he wants to amend it to make it stronger for U.S. workers.' The Canadian embassy writes it up as, 'Well, maybe Obama is not as tough on NAFTA as you might think.' And the Clintons start waving this and saying, 'See? Actually, he's the one.'" [Mississippi Rally, 3/10/08]

4. 2/29/08: Sen. Obama: 'It did not happen.' Anchor: "So, completely inaccurate, did not happen, end of discussion." Sen. Obama: "It did not happen." [WKYC TV, 2/29/08]

3. 2/28/08 - Rice: 'There had been no contact.' "The Canadian ambassador issued a statement that was absolutely false. There had been no contact. There had been no discussions on NAFTA. So we take the Canadians at their word... period." [MSNBC, Susan Rice, 2/28/08]

2. 2/27/08 - Obama advisor just said 'hello.' "Goolsbee: Canada's consul general in Chicago contacted him 'at one point to say 'hello' because their office is around the corner." [ABC, 2/29/08]

1. 2/27/08 - 'No conversations have taken place' with the Canadian government on NAFTA. "Earlier Thursday, the Obama campaign insisted that no conversations have taken place with any of its senior ranks and representatives of the Canadian government on the NAFTA issue." [CTV, 2/29/08]

The Obama campaign has tried to deflect attention from Goolsbee by making false attacks on Hillary Clinton. Several members of the Clinton administration and Clinton biographers independently confirm that she was critical of NAFTA in the early 1990s.

THE RACIST THEOLOGY OF OBAMA''S CHURCH:
The "theology" that Wright teaches at his church is nothing like Christianity as most people understand it. The brand of theology which Wright has been teaching Obama and the others at his church is called "black liberation theology." Wright admits this and it is stated on the church's website. Black theology is based upon the premise of the white oppressor against the black oppressed. This is why, for example, that Wright refers to Jesus as black, and his killers as white. This is the only way the story of Jesus fits within this brand of "theology." Rev. Wright cites James Cone, another proponent of black liberation theology, as his theological inspiration. Here are just a couple of James Cone's quotes: (1) "To be Christian is to be one of those whom God has chosen. God has chosen black people." (2) "While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism." (3) "All white men are responsible for white oppression." (4) "Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man "the devil." (5) "If there is any contemporary meaning of the Antichrist, the white church seems to be a manifestation of it." (6) "Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." *** These statements, and this "theology," are fundamentally racist and divisive. The fact that Obama has chosen to belong to this racist church for 20 years speaks volumes about his character and judgment, and flies in the face of his pronouncements about his ability and intent to "unite" this country.

Posted by: AJ | April 26, 2008 12:58 AM | Report abuse

HOW ABOUT THIS QUESTION TO OBAMA SUPPORTERS: If Hillary Clinton had been going to a "white centered" church for 20 years; the fundamental theology of the church was one of white versus black; the pastor of the church often made racist remarks against blacks, and blamed all of society's ills on black people; the pastor of the church gave David Duke a lifetime achievement award; the church supported the terrorist group, Hamas; and Hillary considered this pastor her "mentor and spiritual adviser"; would you give her the pass that you are giving Obama. Would you be enraged that a moderator in the debates would ask her a question about this affiliation? I doubt most Obama supporters could answer this question honestly, so I'll tell you what would happen if Hillary Clinton had the same sort of relationship in reverse: The righteous indignation of Obama and the media would rise up, the demand would be made that Hillary withdraw from the nomination process immediately, and Hillary's political career would be over, period.

As usual Fred, Hillary-supporters are quick to judge and slow to respond to facts. The media is quick to show the 8-second video bits (from 20 minutes or more of a sermon) of some of Rev. Wright's most controversial remarks. As you can attest to, the more those 8-second video bits are played the more they form in the public consciouness. Rev. Wright is ex-military guy who dropped out of college to join the military as a Marine because he was inspired by JFK. He later went on to corpman school to become a cardio-pulmonary technician who was on a team that took care of President Lyndon Johnson. Wright received 3 letters of commendation while in the military. In the 1980s and onward Wright was instrumental in establishing church ministries that dealt with HIV, prison reform, childcare, poverty, and many other important social issues.

The support of Hamas is a stretch at best. An op-ed piece published in the LA Times was republished in a church magazine. In that op-ed piece, a Hamas member spoke the need to reach pieceful resolution of the Palenstian-Israeli conflict. Attached is the web link for your reference.

http://truthabouttrinity.blogspot.com/2008/03/truth-regarding-hamas-distortion.html

Now I will tell you want Hyprocrisy is. Hyprocrisy is ridiculing and accusing your political opponent of about trade laws such as NAFTA, when your Chief Strategist and husband support and lobby for a trade law you supposedly oppose. Hyprocrisy is belittling and criticizing the relationship of your political opponent and his former pastor, when you yourself are in a relationship in which your husband has belittle and disrepected you from 1980s to 2004 by being accused of sexual harrassment, extramartial affairs, and sexual misconduct.

Posted by: AJ | April 26, 2008 12:54 AM | Report abuse

A BIGGER ISSUE THAN WRIGHT'S RACIST AND ANTI-AMERICAN SERMONS, IS THE VERY NATURE OF OBAMA'S SO-CALLED "RELIGION": The "theology" that Wright teaches at his church is nothing like Christianity as most people understand it. It is called "black liberation theology." Here are direct quotes regarding this "theology" from Wright's mentor and major architect of black liberation theology, Rev. James Cone: 1. To be Christian is to be one of those whom God has chosen. God has chosen black people. 2. While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism. 3. All white men are responsible for white oppression. 4. Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man the devil. 5. If there is any contemporary meaning of the Antichrist, the white church seems to be a manifestation of it. 6. Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love. *** These teachings are fundamentally racist and divisive. Obama has chosen to belong to this racist church for 20 years, and now because of exposure by the press, he tries to fool the American public once again.

FOR LACK OF SPACE, JUST A FEW OF OBAMA'S LIES: 1. his continual reference to his "Christian" faith, which is actually "black liberation theology"; 2. his lies and omissions about his connection to his racist and anti-American "mentor and spiritual adviser"; 3. his lie that the Kennedy family provided the funding for a September 1959 airlift of 81 Kenyan students to the United States that included Obama's father; 4. his current false ad in Pennsylvania in which he lies about taking contributions from the oil companies; 5. his alleged continual opposition to the Iraq war; 6. his denial regarding playing the race card (for which he was busted by Tim Russert); 7. his denial that any meeting took place between his chief economic adviser and the Canadian official about NAFTA; 8. his changing testimony about his relationship with and monetary support from Rezko; 9. his lie about a pharmaceutical lobbyist's involvement in his campaign; 10. his statement that his parents met at the Selma march (when he was actually born 4 year before that); 11. his claim in his book that he received his racial awakening at age nine reading a Life/Ebony Magazine story about a black man who was scarred trying to dye his skin white, when both Life and Ebony say there was no such article. AND JUST A FEW OF OBAMA'S FLIP-FLOPS: 1. Special interests In January, the Obama campaign described union contributions to the campaigns of Clinton and John Edwards as "special interest" money. Obama changed his tune as he began gathering his own union endorsements. He now refers respectfully to unions as the representatives of "working people" and says he is "thrilled" by their support. 2. Public financing Obama replied "yes" in September 2007 when asked if he would agree to public financing of the presidential election if his GOP opponent did the same. Obama has now attached several conditions to such an agreement, including regulating spending by outside groups. His spokesman says the candidate never committed himself on the matter. 3. The Cuba embargo In January 2004, Obama said it was time "to end the embargo with Cuba" because it had "utterly failed in the effort to overthrow Castro." Speaking to a Cuban American audience in Miami in August 2007, he said he would not "take off the embargo" as president because it is "an important inducement for change." 4. Illegal immigration In a March 2004 questionnaire, Obama was asked if the government should "crack down on businesses that hire illegal immigrants." He replied "Oppose." In a Jan. 31, 2008, televised debate, he said that "we do have to crack down on those employers that are taking advantage of the situation." 5. Decriminalization of marijuana While running for the U.S. Senate in January 2004, Obama told Illinois college students that he supported eliminating criminal penalties for marijuana use. In the Oct. 30, 2007, presidential debate, he joined other Democratic candidates in opposing the decriminalization of marijuana.

OBAMA'S ALLEGED OPPOSITION TO THE WAR: Although he gave a speech against the war in 2002, by 2003 the speech was off his website. Then, on July 27, 2004, when asked how he would have voted on the war resolution in an interview with the New York Times, he said he didn't think the case for war had been made, but he didn't know how he would have voted had he had access to classified information at the time, because he was not in the United States Senate. By 2004, he was saying that "There's not that much difference between my position and George Bush's position at this stage." And by 2005, 6, and 7, he was voting for every funding bill ($300 billion) regarding the war. Indeed, since his election to the Senate, his voting record has been just about identical with that of Hillary Clinton. Then when Bill Clinton tried to correct the record regarding this issue by outlining the above by calling Obama's representation of his continual opposition to the war a "fairy tale," Obama played the race card and implied that Bill Clinton was saying that Obama's CANDIDACY was a "fairy tale."

POLITICO BUSTS BARACK OBAMA IN MORE LIES

Political opinion

The other day we wrote a piece covering some of Barack Obama's bigger lies during his campaign and his political life, which included, his lies about his association with Tony Rezko, then his lies about how much money he received from Rezko, then his admitting to the fact that he received more than he originally said.

Then we went to his NAFTA lies, and his lies about what he heard from his Pastor, Jeremiah Wright and when he heard it, as we showed his statement saying he never heard those controversial "God Damn America" remarks as well as the racial remarks and anti-American remarks and just four days later, made a speech where he admitted he had her controversial remarks.

He lies, then he lies to spin his way out of his previous lies and then when he can lie no more he tells part of the truth and ignores his previous lies.

This has become a very bad habit which he has been shown publicly to have....a habit of a pathological liar.

Now The Politico has just busted more Obama lies, wide open.

During his first run for elected office, Barack Obama played a greater role than his aides now acknowledge in crafting liberal stands on gun control, the death penalty and abortion -- positions that appear at odds with the more moderate image he has projected during his presidential campaign.

The evidence comes from an amended version of an Illinois voter group's detailed questionnaire, filed under his name during his 1996 bid for a state Senate seat.

Late last year, in response to a Politico story about Obama's answers to the original questionnaire, his aides said he "never saw or approved" the questionnaire.

They asserted the responses were filled out by a campaign aide who "unintentionally mischaracterize[d] his position."

But a Politico examination determined that Obama was actually interviewed about the issues on the questionnaire by the liberal Chicago nonprofit group that issued it. And it found that Obama -- the day after sitting for the interview -- filed an amended version of the questionnaire, which appears to contain Obama's own handwritten notes added to one answer.

The two questionnaires, provided to Politico with assistance from political sources opposed to Obama's presidential campaign, were later supplied directly by the group, Independent Voters of Illinois -- Independent Precinct Organization. Obama and his then-campaign manager, who Obama's campaign asserts filled out the questionnaires, were familiar with the group, its members and its positions, since both were active in it before Obama's 1996 state Senate run.

Through an aide, Obama, who won the group's endorsement as well as the statehouse seat, did not dispute that the handwriting was his. But he contended it doesn't prove he completed, approved -- or even read -- the latter questionnaire.

The Politico piece is three pages long, but it is worth the read.

The longer Barack Obama is in the political spotlight, the better because the media has started to do some actual research and every time they do, they show his lies, his past lies, or his present lies which generally lead to his future lies to try to spin out of the wind for his original lies.

The old expression about tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceived is quite appropriate here because Barack Obama is caught in the web of his own lies and he doesn't seem to be able to break free of one before the next set of them are brought to the publics attention.

I love this comment from Hot Air's, Ed Morrisey:

This makes no sense at all. If Obama's handwriting is on the survey, then he filled it out. If the answers didn't reflect his views, why didn't he change them when he "jotted some notes" on it? If the answers were wrong, Obama would have "jotted some notes" to that effect, rather than allow such mistakes to get transmitted to IVI. And the "eleven years in public office" defense might make sense if Obama hadn't spent much of that time voting "present" instead of taking actual stands.

Once again, we have more evidence that Obama represents nothing more than the political winds. He has zero credibility, zero experience, and a penchant for telling people what they want to hear rather than any truth about what he actually believes. Either he lied to IVI or he's lying now. In either case, it's hardly the New Politics Obama has promised.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Sen. Clinton: "About twenty-five percent of the state (Indiana) gets media from Chicago, which is certainly an advantage for Senator Obama," she said.

She grew up in Park Ridge, IL, after her toddler shooting days behind the shed in Scranton. She is more Illinois than Obama, except she threw over her true home state and its beloved Cubs (big mistake) to become NY senator and (outrage) Mets fan. Had she kept true to her real roots, her formative years in well-off Park Ridge, then it would be her who would now be commanding an advantage from home state Illinois.

OBAMA'S RELIGION: WHAT REV. JEREMIAH WRIGHT BELIEVES
News Type: Opinion -- Mon Mar 17, 2008 10:26 PM EDT
us-news, election, obama, clinton, race, wright
dugan49
When Jeremiah Wright got into a spitting contest with right wing TV host Sean Hannity last year, he at one point refused to answer Hannity's badgering questions and kept asking Hannity "Have you read James Cone, what do you know about black theology? Have you read Cone? Have you read Cone?Have you read Cone?"
James Cone is one of he founders, some say the founder, of Black Liberation Theology. Rev. Jeremiah Wright's ministry, his beliefs about America, and about life itself are formed by his attraction to and acceptance of the writings of James Cone.
Let's look at some quotes from James Cone.
____________________
"The time has come for white America to be silent and listen to black people."
"All white men are responsible for white oppression. "
"Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man 'the devil.'"
"Any advice from whites to blacks on how to deal with white oppression is automatically under suspicion as a clever device to further enslavement."
"Black suffering is getting worse, not better. . . . White supremacy is so clever and evasive that we can hardly name it." (2004)
" Jesus Christ is black therefore not because of some cultural or psychological need of black people, but because and only because Christ really enters into our world where the poor were despised and the black are, disclosing that he is with them enduring humiliation and pain and transforming oppressed slaves into liberating servants."
"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him."
"The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy."
"What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal."

OBAMA WILL NOT COOPERATE IN RELEASING 8 YEARS OF HIS STATE SENATE RECORDS
Judicial Watch: Obama 'intended to leave no paper trail'
By Klaus Marre
Posted: 03/26/08 01:01 PM [ET]
The president of a prominent watchdog group said Wednesday that he believes Democratic presidential frontrunner Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) "intended to leave no paper trail" during his time in the Illinois Senate.

Judicial Watch, which has been seeking access to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's (D-N.Y.) records from her time in the White House, argued Wednesday that the Illinois senator, who has criticized the former first lady for a lack of openness, has his own "records problem."
"The more we learn about the Illinois Senator, the more obvious it becomes that he is anything but the ethically upright outsider he purports to be," said Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch.
The group rose to prominence when it repeatedly took on former President Bill Clinton during his time in office. It also sought records from the Bush administration regarding Vice President Dick Cheney's energy task force.
In a statement, Fitton noted that his group has sought access to Obama's records as a state senator and questioned whether the presidential candidate has been forthcoming with regard to what happened to those documents.
He said that "nobody knows where they are, if they exist at all" and claimed that "Obama's story keeps changing."

OBAMA BUYING THE DELEGATES:
These are the latest figures from an article in the Seattle Times:
Since 2005, Obama's PAC has donated $710,900 to superdelegates, more than three times as much as Clinton's PAC. Her PAC distributed $236,100 to superdelegates during the same time.
The study found that the presidential candidate who gave more money to the superdelegates received their endorsements 82 percent of the time. That's based on a review of elected officials who are serving as superdelegates and who had endorsed a candidate as of Feb. 25.

OBAMA: DIRTY POLITICIAN FROM THE START: Chicago Sun-Times--A close examination of Obama's first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career: Obama, who runs on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless, first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it. Alice Palmer, friend and mentor to Obama, served the district in the Illinois Senate for much of the 1990s. Decades earlier, she was a community organizer in the area when Obama was growing up in Hawaii. She risked her safe seat to run for Congress and touted Obama as a suitable successor. But when Palmer lost the congressional race, her supporters asked Obama to fold his campaign so she could easily retain her state Senate seat. Obama not only refused to step aside for the woman who was his friend and had recommended him for the seat, he filed challenges that nullified Palmer's hastily gathered nominating petitions, forcing her to withdraw. Had Palmer survived the petition challenge, Obama would have faced the daunting task of taking on an incumbent senator. "He wondered if we should knock everybody off the ballot. How would that look?" said Ronald Davis, the paid Obama campaign consultant whom Obama referred to as his "guru of petitions." Davis filed objections to all four of Obama's Democratic rivals at the candidate's behest. All other candidates were disposed of by Obama's challenges. He then went on to win the election.

OBAMA'S CHANGING STORY ON REZKO: Chicago Sun-Times, March 16, 2008: For the first time, Sen. Barack Obama put a figure Friday to the amount of campaign contributions that indicted political fund-raiser Tony Rezko raised for the senator's campaigns, and the number -- about $250,000 -- was far more than he previously acknowledged. Obama's estimate exceeded his campaign staff's previous estimates of Rezko's fund-raising during Obama's 12 years in politics. In November 2006, Obama's staff estimated Rezko raised $50,000 to $60,000 over the senator's career. In the last year, Obama's campaign fund has given charities more than $157,600 in donations it linked to Rezko, his family, friends and business associates.

WHOSE FAULT IS IT? Many Obama supporters cannot face the truth about their candidate, period. They began supporting him when they knew nothing about him, and now that they've invested so much of themselves in the "change" he pretended to represent, there is just no turning back for them. No, they will not let information which does not support their image of this man intrude upon their dreams. I blame Obama for this, more than his supporters. He knew he was perpetrating a terrible hoax on the voters of this country from the start. He knew the kinds of ruthless tactics he had used from the beginning to jumpstart his political career. He knew about his dubious associations and how they flew in the face of his calls for "change" and "unification." He knew about the racist theology to which he subscribed for 20 years, and how destructive such ideas are to the progress of race relations in this country. No, I do not place primary blame for our current unfortunate situation on his supporters; I place it squarely on Obama, who has shown an almost criminal lack of concern about the damage his tactics have done not only to the Democratic Party, but more importantly, to relations between the races about which, ironically, he professes to care so much.

If Hillary is such a winner, how come she's not winning by a LANDSLIDE? How come she is lagging in states won, committed delegates, and the popular vote? If Hillary is such a winner, how come she cannot pay her debts to middleclass businesses where whe incurred large debts...dating back to Iowa? If Hillary is such a winner, why does she use fraud to boost her experience? If Hillary is such a winner, why is she so disliked the the American public? If Hillary is such a winner, why does she have to take likeability tours? If Hillary is such a winner, why does she resort to dirty politics? If Hillary is such a winner, why does she keep changing her persona? If Hillary is such a winner, why can't she run a decent campaign team? Hillary is a nasty joke to this nation.

There's no way Hilliary is Presidential Material. Face it; she is mentally unstable and really does not know WHO she is, she is a coward and all she knows how to do is fight dirty. She is like the bully in elementary school who knows NOBODY likes him/her and further promotes that dislike by fighting and rediculing others. This is exactly what Hilliary and Bill have exhibited throughout this campaign. This is not being strong; this is being whiney and bullish. Whaaaa, I am being overspent; whaaaa the boys' club is piling on me; whaaaaa I am sleep deprived; whaaaa, send me $5.00 donations so I can buy more doughnuts and pizzas; whaaa, people don't think I am nice, whaaa, can't you see how nice I am....whaaaa I found my voice, and on and on and on. Hillary is a coward, has NO backbone, and is a disgrace to the gentler gender. She rides on Bill's political experience, she rides his coattails, and rides his shoulders to claim her electability!! Hilliary is the kind of hack and witch (with a B) that gives ALL women a bad name!!

OBAMA'S NEW PASTOR COMPARES REV. WRIGHT TO JESUS -- CHICAGO -- The new pastor of Barack Obama's church delivered a defiant defense of its retiring reverend Sunday, comparing media coverage of Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. to a modern-day lynching that resembles Jesus' death at the hands of the Romans. In a sunrise Easter sermon, Rev. Otis Moss III implied that his mentor, who has delivered sermons in which he likened the U.S. to the Ku Klux Klan and declared it damned for its "state-sponsored terrorism," is facing the same challenges Jesus did."No one should start a ministry with lynching, no one should end their ministry with lynching," Moss said. "The lynching was national news. The RNN, the Roman News Network, was reporting it and NPR, National Publican Radio had it on the radio. The Jerusalem Post and the Palestine Times all wanted exclusives, they searched out the young ministers, showed up unannounced at their houses, tried to talk with their families, called up their friends, wanted to get a quote on how do you feel about the lynching?" he continued.

OBAMA'S CHURCH SUPPORTS TERRORIST GROUP, HAMAS -- JULY OF 2007 -- JERUSALEM - Sen. Barack Obama's Chicago church reprinted a manifesto by Hamas that defended terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right of Israel to exist and compared the terror group's official charter - which calls for the murder of Jews - to America's Declaration of Independence. The Hamas piece was published on the "Pastor's Page" of the Trinity United Church of Christ newsletter reserved for Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whose anti-American, anti-Israel remarks landed Obama in hot water, prompting the presidential candidate to deliver a major race speech earlier this week. Hamas, responsible for scores of shootings, suicide bombings and rocket launchings against civilian population centers, is listed as a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department.

ATTENTION ITALIANS; MORE FROM OBAMA'S "MENTOR AND SPIRITUAL ADVISER": The Reverend Jeremiah Wright is canceling all of his public appearances for "safety concerns." He's supposed to be over at some church in Tampa, but he bailed out of that one. But get this. He has slurred Italians now in a piece that he wrote published in the most recent issue of Trumpet News Magazine. He wrote a eulogy of the late scholar Asa Hilliard in the November-December, 2007, issue of this magazine, Trumpet News Magazine. Here's what he said: "(Jesus') enemies had their opinion about Him. The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans. From the circumstances surrounding Jesus' birth (in a barn in a township that was under the Apartheid Roman government that said his daddy had to be in), up to and including the circumstances surrounding Jesus' death on a cross, a Roman cross, public lynching Italian style. ... He refused to be defined by others and Dr. Asa Hilliard also refused to be defined by others. The government runs everything from the White House to the schoolhouse, from the Capitol to the Klan, white supremacy is clearly in charge, but Asa, like Jesus, refused to be defined by an oppressive government because Asa got his identity from an Omnipotent God."

Why Indiana is so important for the Dem. primaries? It is like GA, AL, TX, ID, IA,KS,UT,MS,VA,LA, SC,CO, AK,NH. They are traditional, well known red states, which Dem. has very little chance to win in November.
The battleground states, FL, PA and OH are definitely very important in deciding the general election, which sen. Clinton can do better than sen. Obama in November. These states deserve more attention by DNC and the super delegates than the well known red and blue states.

OBAMA'S CHURCH BUYS REV. WRIGHT A $1.6 MILLION MANSION
There's something you might find interesting as regards this curious land deal putting Obama's pastor in a $1.6 Million dollar home in Tinley Park, IL. for his retirement. Checking the census data for Tinley Park, a gated community, I'm told, it seems the pastor from the "unashamedly black and and unapologetically Christian" church is moving into a community that is only 2% black and 93% white. For reference, as a whole, Illinois is 15% black.
While it is not uncommon for an accomplished clergyman to live in luxury, Wright's retirement residence is raising some questions.
"Some people think deals like this are hypocritical. Jeremiah Wright himself criticizes people from the pulpit for middle classism, for too much materialism," said Andrew Walsh, Associate Director of the Leonard E. Greenberg Center for the Study of Religion in Public Life with Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
"So he's entitled to be tweaked here. So the question really is, how unusual is this? Somewhat unusual," he said.
According to documents obtained from the Cook County Register of Deeds, Wright purchased two empty lots in Tinley Park, Ill., from Chicago restaurant chain owner Kenny Lewis for $345,000 in 2004.
Documents show Wright sold the property to his church, Trinity United, in December 2006, with the proceeds going to a living trust shared with his wife, Ramah.
The sale price for the land was just under $308,000, about $40,000 less than Wright's original purchase two years earlier.
Public records of the sale show Trinity initially obtained a $10 million bank loan to purchase the property and build a new house on the land.
But further investigation with tax and real estate attorneys showed that the church had actually secured a $1.6 million mortgage for the home purchase, and attached a $10 million line of credit, for reasons unspecified in the paperwork.

BARACK OBAMA'S LATEST PASTOR PROBLEM: CHICAGO'S REV. JAMES T. MEEKS

by GayWebMonkey.com
Filed under: Lifestyle, Local News, National News, Politics
Mon. March 31, 2008 7:23:44 PM
Chicago, IL -- Just as the dust surrounding Sen. Barack Obama's long-term association with controversial minister Rev. Jeremiah Wright has begun to settle comes new reports of the democratic presidential hopeful's connection to another racially divisive public figure--the stridently homophobic Rev. James T. Meeks, an Illinois state senator who also serves as the pastor of Chicago's 22,000 member strong Salem Baptist Church.

Described in a 2004 Chicago Sun Times article as someone Barack Obama regularly seeks out for "spiritual counsel", James Meeks, who will serve as an Obama delegate at the 2008 Democratic convention in Denver, is a long-time political ally to the democratic frontrunner.

When Obama ran for the U.S. Senate in 2003, he frequently campaigned at Salem Baptist Church while Rev. Meeks appeared in television ads supporting the Illinois senator's campaign. Later, according to the same Chicago Sun Times article, on the night after he won the Democratic primary, Sen. Obama attended bible study at Meeks' church 'for prayer' and 'to say thank you.' Since that time, not only has Meeks himself served on Obama's exploratory committee for the presidency and been listed on the Obama's campaign website as one of the senator's 'influential black supporters', but his church choir was called on to raise their voices in praise at a rally the night Obama announced his run for the White House back in 2007.

Interestingly, the Chicago Sun Times has also reported that both Meeks and Obama share a history of substantial campaign contributions from indicted real estate magnate Tony Rezko. The problem for Obama is that Rev. James Meeks, like Rev. Jeremiah Wright, preaches a message that appears to be directly at odds with the promise of hope, unity and bridging social, racial and political divisions upon which his campaign is built.

Over the years, Rev. Meeks has garnered significant media attention as a result of a number of racially charged remarks he's made from both behind and out in front of the pulpit. Most notably, in 2006, Meeks came under fire for an inflammatory sermon he gave in which he savaged Chicago mayor Richard Daley and others, including African-Americans who were Daley allies.

In the course of July 5, 2006 attack, Rev. James Meeks ranted:

"We don't have slave masters. We got mayors. But they still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able, or to be educated."

"You got some preachers that are house @#$%&. You got some elected officials that are house @#$%&. And rather than them trying to break this up, they gonna fight you to protect this white man," Meeks said in a sermon tape which he later defended in an interview with Chicago CBS2 reporter, Mike Flannery.

Perhaps of even more concern than race-baiting diatribes like these is Rev. Meeks disturbing history of antagonism towards the LGBT community.

A spring 2007 newsletter from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) named Meeks one of the "10 leading black religious voices in the anti-gay movement". The newsletter cites him as both "a key member of Chicago's 'Gatekeepers' network, an interracial group of evangelical ministers who strive to erase the division between church and state" and "a stalwart anti-gay activist... [who]... has used his House of Hope mega-church to launch petition drives for the Illinois Family Institute (IFI), a major state-level 'family values' pressure group that lauded him last year for leading African Americans in 'clearly understanding the threat of gay marriage.'"

The SPLC newsletter also noted that, "Meeks and the IFI are partnered with Focus on the Family, the Family Research Council and the Alliance Defense Fund, major anti-gay organizations of the Christian Right. They also are tightly allied with Americans for Truth, an Illinois group that said in a press release last year that 'fighting AIDS without talking against homosexuality is like fighting lung cancer without talking against smoking.'"

On a more personal level, Meeks has reportedly blamed "Hollywood Jews for bringing us Brokeback Mountain" and actively campaigned to defeat SB3186, an Illinois LGBT non-discrimination bill, while serving in the Illinois state legislature alongside Obama. According to a 2006 Chicago Sun Times article, his church sponsored a "Halloween fright night" which "consigned to the flames of hell two mincing young men wearing body glitter who were supposed to be homosexuals."

And so here we are again confronted with a situation in which Barack Obama's choice of allies is likely to confound voters. Though his relationship with Rev. Meeks is not nearly as significant as his affiliation with "spiritual mentor" Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Sen. Obama's ties to Meeks are nonetheless disconcerting, particularly in the wake of his recent address on race in America and his campaign's early fumble surrounding the decision to invite homophobic gospel artist Donnie McClurkin to perform at a campaign Faith and Family Values fundraiser in South Carolina.

Some, like CNN contributor Roland S. Martin (who, for the record, is a member of Meeks' Salem Baptist Church), say, as he did in a recent commentary on the cable news network: "Everyone has an association that is open for scrutiny. Our real focus should be on the candidates and their views on the issues, because one of them will stand before the nation and take the oath of office and swear to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States."

But the question remains: At what point must a candidate for the highest office in the United States be held accountable for the small coterie of individuals who make up his or her inner circle and potentially bear influence on his interpretation of the constitution? And at what point does the benefit of the doubt give way to guilt by association? Moreover, how can a candidate cultivate a constituency like that of Rev. James Meek, essentially espousing a shared belief in their value system, become an effective and powerful advocate on behalf of issues like LGBT rights that run counter to fundamental agenda of that constituency without experiencing severe repercussions? The answer is he can't.

Just as Hillary Clinton cannot cherry pick the successes and pitfalls from her husband's administration that suit her campaign, neither can Barack Obama divorce himself from the implications surrounding the bedfellows he has made over the course of his relatively short political career. Put even more plainly... Barack Obama can't have it both ways, which increasingly seems to be his campaign's modus operandi.

While it is altogether plausible that, in the spirit of bringing hope and unity, a civil rights leader might sit down with members of white supremacist groups to address racial differences, it is another thing entirely to propose that the same civil rights leader could count any of those white supremacists among his closest friends because he finds them to be inspirational people if, you know, you take that pesky race thing out of the equation.

Similarly, while potentially capable of co-existing peacefully in an environment of mutual respect, the homophobe and the LGBT rights advocate aren't likely to be found cooing at or canoodling with one another in private because they share so many other common interests. Yet these are precisely the kinds of scenarios that Barack Obama asks the American people to accept on faith each and every time unsavory questions arise about the associates with whom he has chosen to surround himself. Ultimately, it is this porous type of reaction that may be Sen. Obama's undoing. But, then again, perhaps not.

Obama's critically well-received speech on race in response to the Jeremiah Wright scandal seems to have quieted mainstream concern over the senator's views about race while simultaneously forcing the media to tip toe around discussing race as it pertains to his campaign to become the Democratic presidential nominee. So maybe talk about Rev. James Meek and Barack Obama will summarily disappear from the political radar, but one thing is for sure --it shouldn't.

Growing up, my octogenarian grandmother always told me, "If you lie down with dogs, you're going to get fleas." Life and experience have taught me she was right, which says to me that in light of his cozy relationship with anti-gay poster child, Rev. James Meeks, Barack Obama ought to be feeling awfully itchy right about now.

POLITICO BUSTS OBAMA IN MORE LIES
The other day we wrote a piece covering some of Obama's bigger lies during his campaign including lies about his association with Rezko, lies about how much money he received from Rezko and his later admission that he received more than he originally said. Then his NAFTA lies, and his lies about what he heard from Rev. Wright and when he heard it, as we showed his statement saying he never heard those controversial "God Damn America" remarks as well as the racial remarks and anti-American remarks and just four days later, made a speech where he admitted he had heard controversial remarks. Now The Politico has just busted more Obama lies. During his first run for office, Obama played a greater role than his aides now acknowledge in crafting liberal stands on gun control, the death penalty and abortion; positions that are at odds with the moderate image he has projected during his campaign. The evidence comes from an amended version of an Illinois voter group's questionnaire. Last year, in response to a Politico story about Obama's answers to the original questionnaire, his aides said he "never saw or approved" it. But it's been determined that Obama was actually interviewed about the issues on the questionnaire by the Chicago nonprofit group that issued it. And it found that Obama filed an amended version of the questionnaire, which appears to contain his own handwritten notes. Obama did not dispute that the handwriting was his.

WHY IS OBAMA UNELECTABLE?
First, a recent poll suggests that almost 30 percent of Hillary Clinton voters will vote for McCain if Obama is the nominee. Second, his inexperience; his "most liberal senator in Congress" status; his dishonesty issues; Rezko; Rev. Wright. Remember when Kerry ran against Bush; the Swiftboat incident? What the Republican slime machine does is attack what they consider to be the Democrat's greatest strength. For Kerry, one of those was the extent to which his military service eclipsed George Bush's "alleged" military service. So, they Swiftboat him, and it worked. In Kerry's case, I don't believe that the Swiftboat veterans were truthful, but it raised enough questions to affect the election. In Obama's case, the Republicans don't even have to lie or make things up; they have Rev. Wright. Obama claims that one of his greatest strengths is that he is a "uniter," and yet he has attending a black liberation theology church for 20 years, and considers its racist and anti-American pastor to be his "mentor and spiritual adviser." Right now, Hillary cannot discuss this issue without fear of the race card; however, in the general election, the 527's are going to have a field day with it.

HOW OBAMA HAS USED GEORGE BUSH/KARL ROVE TACTICS TO OBTAIN OVER $62,000,000 FOR HIS CAMPAIGN, SO FAR!:
The Washington Post -- April 11,2008 -- Obama gets plenty of money from big donors too: "Sen. Barack Obama credits his presidential campaign with creating a 'parallel public financing system' built on a wave of modest donations from homemakers and high school teachers. ... But those with wealth and power also have played a critical role in creating Obama's record-breaking fundraising machine, and their generosity has earned them a prominent voice in shaping his campaign. Seventy-nine 'bundlers,' five of them billionaires, have tapped their personal networks to raise at least $200,000 each. ... Donors who have given more than $200 account for about half of Obama's total haul, which stands at nearly $240 million. ... The bundler list also sheds light on those who might seek to influence an Obama White House. They have helped the campaign recruit more than 27,000 donors to write checks for $2,300, the maximum allowed. Donors who have given more than $200 account for about half of Obama's total haul, which stands at nearly $240 million. The use of bundlers was perfected by George W. Bush, who in 2000 and 2004 set some fundraising records that Obama has shattered.

AS USUAL, OBAMA LIES IN THE PA DEBATE

Just a few of Obama's misrepresentations in the Pennsylvania debate. In the debate, Obama indicated that he had never said he wouldn't wear the flag pin. Here is a video of him saying just that, i.e. "I won't wear that pin."
http://tinyurl.com/6gcrzh
I'm not really concerned about whether he wears one or not; I'm concerned about his constant misrepresentations of the truth.
He also changed his story once again about what he knew about Rev. Wright. When confronted with the fact that he "disinvited" Wright to his campaign kickoff affair over a year ago because Wright can "get a little rough" in his sermons, now he says he saw an article in Rolling Stone Magazine about Wright. Also, when asked about his stance on gun control, and his answers to a questionnaire that he filled out regarding his state senate run, the moderator mentioned to him that his own handwriting was on the questionnaire; Obama then lied and said it wasn't. Please see the following article with a copy of the questionnaire with Obama's handwriting on it:

WHAT HAS OBAMA DONE FOR BLACK PEOPLE, other than use them for their support? Did he show up at the Black History Month event recently; no, he was too busy. Did he show up at the Martin Luther King event recently, no, he was too busy. YOU WHO TRY TO IMPLY THAT THE CLINTON'S ARE RACIST OR DO NOT SUPPORT THE BLACK COMMUNITY REPRESENT THE WORST OF THE OBAMA SUPPORTERS.

Here's some irony for you - The Clinton Global Initiative, part of the Clinton Foundation, has secured partnerships for the following initiatives:
$271,000,000.00 over a 5-year period for educational opportunities for 7.5 million children in Africa and Asia.
$40,000,000.00 over 5 years for critical education needs for 3,000,000 girls in Africa.
$12,000,000.00 over 8 years to improve schooling and health outcomes for girls 10-14 in Southern Africa.

Maybe someone should tell Barack Obama and his supporters that trying to label Bill Clinton a "racist" is contrary to everything he has ever done in his life, and is not only dishonest, it is disgusting.

Compare that to Obama's accomplishments in assisting blacks here and around the world (if you can find any).

OBAMA FANS SHOULD APPRECIATE AN AD FEATURING REV. WRIGHT: Obama fans are crying about an ad that depicts Obama's racist and anti-American "mentor and spiritual adviser," Rev. Wright. If Obama didn't want to be associated with such a crude and hateful man, he shouldn't have attended his church for 20 years, considered him his mentor and spiritual adviser, and appointed him to one of his election committees. I remember when Obama was asked about Wright before anyone knew about him, he said that there is "nothing controversial at all" about him or his church. Since the news came out about Wright, Obama supporters have been tripping over themselves to defend Wright and his ideas. Well, if Wright is such a nice and non-controversial figure, why are Obama supporters upset that he is starring in a commercial. Obama fans can't have it both ways. They've been defending Wright constantly in order to defend their messiah. As such, they should be happy to see this "wonderful man" who has "done so much for the community" on television. It should only help Obama, right?

HYPOCRISY 101: One thing that I've noticed on all of the major blogs, is that no one really changes anyone else's mind on anything. Most of those who comment have their own preconceived notions, and no facts, no matter how persuasive, will change their point of view. However, another thing is equally as obvious, and that is the hypocrisy of Obama supporters who condone or make excuses for Rev. Wright and his relationship with Obama. All of us know, whether some wish to admit it or not, that if Hillary Clinton had a 20 year personal relationship with a pastor like Rev. Wright in reverse, who made derogatory comments about blacks, whose church had given a notorious white racist a lifetime achievement award last November, and whose church supported the terrorist group, Hamas -- Obama supporters and others would be calling for her immediate withdrawal from the campaign, and her career would be finished. I would have much more respect for any Obama supporter who would at least admit to the possibility of a double standard regarding this issue. YES, HYPOCRISY 101, INDEED.

IS REV. WRIGHT RELEVANT TO THIS ELECTION PROCESS?: For those who think that Rev. Wright is not an issue in the campaign, I beg to differ. First, it doesn't matter that Rev. Wright has resigned; he was Obama's "mentor and spiritual adviser" for 20 years. Second, there is no dispute that Rev. Wright believes in and preaches black liberation theology. He admitted it on the church's website, before the church scrubbed the site for offensive materials in an effort to conceal their true nature. Third, I recommend that all read a few books about black liberation theology to learn more about Obama's so-called "religion," and make the determination for yourselves whether or not it has any relationship to Christianity or the teachings of Jesus. Just to give you a head start, here are a few quotes from a founder of black liberation theology (and Rev. Wright's theological mentor), Rev. James Cone, about Obama's religion:

(1) "To be Christian is to be one of those whom God has chosen. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community. Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love."

Now, if you don't think that the statements above are racist, then you and I can agree to disagree. The real issue is that Americans in general need to know about the racist nature of Obama's religion, because it goes to the heart of his character and judgment. Then, once America understands this issue, if they agree with the racist bent of his church, so be it. I have a feeling, however, that once people find out about this issue, he will be losing supporters by the droves. If it doesn't happen now, it will in the general election if, God forbid, he is the Democratic nominee.

Hillary is responsible why this country still doesn't have a "Universal Health Care". Her inexperienced action at the beginning of the 90'ies has destroyed a bipartisan solution. Wake up Hillary! Here are some clear answers:
1. The Clinton's want to become President at any cost. It is all about their ego and not the Democratic Party or the country.
2. She is already planning for 2012. The Clintons are in the process to destroy Obama and to help McCain to win. They know McCain will be a one term president. She would be the only candidate after Obama's loss.

Sick racist talk here. Field negros? Well - Obama sure wasn't ever a field negro. He's a Kenyan. No southern slaves in his past.

Race doesn't matter in any case. The only reason it matters at all is that Mr. Obama uses it. It's how he got elected in Chicago that's for sure - along with really weak Republican opponents and A QUARTER MILLION DOLLARS FROM TONY REZKO THE CHICAGO CROOK. He never gave him anything for that thoug - just looked the other way when Tony took 100MILLION for renovating eleven buildings in BOs district and never did a thing to them. Let the poor, inner city, low income tenants freeze.

Obama is a do nothing. He likes everything to come easy. Rezko money, help from the DC Establishment Boys Club, Obamabot money. Wrote a book about himself? What for?? Money. You people are fools, following the Pied Piper and filling his float with dollars. Don't ask him any questions - he'll give you the finger and REFUSE to answer them.

The "working class" is madeup of all types of Americans, including Americans(and new Americans) that have worn a Uniform and are proud to be American.

I've been in various jobs where they wanted ME to pay nearly $800 to insure my family. This is UNAMERICAN. Like Social Security and Medicare, which are depended on by yours and mine grandparents, UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE MUST be mandatory.

The people that are trying to "scare" us all about how much Universal Healthcare will cost, are the Insurance Companies that have so much "overhead profit" that will be jeopardized under a Universal Healthcare program. Most people are just uninformed about this MAJOR PROBLEM, because that's the type of "Stupid Consumer" the insurance companies and profit-mongers want us to be.

So many "for the people" programs will follow Universal Healthcare for America, that's why it's SO important.

Americans work more hours and take less vacation than other modern, industrialized countries, this is not right!! It's our children and our health that pays when the working class has both parents working 60+ hours weekly, with meager benefits, and total lack of mandated vacation time.

Universal Healthcare is a Democratic CORE interest, Obama doesn't support it because his target voter groups include the affluent. Ever wonder why Barack never goes to North Carolina to campaign? It's because he arrogantly believes all African-Americans will AUTOMATICALY vote for him.

"Most countries around the world have labor laws mandating a certain number of days of time off per year to be given to a worker. In nearly all Canadian provinces, the legal minimum is three weeks, while in most of Europe the limit is significantly higher. Neither the U.S. nor China[citation needed] requires that employees receive any vacation time at all. There are movements fighting for laws requiring more vacation time for American workers such as timeday.org."

Wow, treetracker! As another fairly old white lady (ok, actually I'm Cherokee), your post hits most everything squarely on the head. I've never read a post that felt so much like my own words and thoughts. I'm honestly impressed.
This country needs to unite. We all need change - nothing else will fix the problems we've all faced in the past, or the hope we all share for the future.

Obama outworked in W.Pa., Doyle says
By David M. Brown and Salena Zito
TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Friday, April 25, 2008

Barack Obama needs to "demonstrate he can connect with blue-collar, working-class people," says U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle.

"Up to this point, I don't think he's shown that yet. That causes me some concern," said Doyle, a Forest Hills Democrat whose 14th District includes much of Pittsburgh.

Doyle is one of 29 Pennsylvania superdelegates -- and one of just six who remained uncommitted -- after Hillary Clinton won Pennsylvania's Democratic primary on Tuesday.

Doyle said he told Obama that he needs to try harder.

"I told him I wasn't real pleased" with his approach and that "he can't win campaigns in Western Pennsylvania on television," Doyle said in an interview. "You have to go out there amongst the people, and I felt Hillary was outworking him in Western Pennsylvania, and she got a result for it."

Obama is lazy. Wants to run lots of lies on TV, show up at a rally, read xeroxed platitudes on "hope" and "change", have adoring crowds kiss his arse and go home.

Didn't work a day in the senate, started another campaign.

He lets his puppet master, Axelrod, do all of the heavy lifting. Idiot old men like Rockefeller, Leahy & Fat Teddy Kennedy do his dirty work while he laughs all the way to the bank.

Here's hoping Indiana and NC are on to this charlatan. Send him packing like we did in PA!

Obama supporters should not be trying to blame this on Hillary, the original video was actually pulled from the archives by a republican.

Obama is the one that got himself into this situation with Mr. Wright, no one else. I've read that Oprah departed from Pastor Wright's services a long time ago, perhaps she smelt the stench of Wright's intensity and did her career a favor by leaving. Supposedly Wright criticized Oprah after her leaving too.

As for Hillary, she has done a monumental job of being "PC" when speaking of Obama and his campaign. The Clintons are not racists, this type of thing would have been exposed many years ago. Just like ABC picked their controversial questions from ordinary people, again, nothing to do with Hillary.

The fact is, Barack supporters are not going to be able to "leverage" him into office simply by calling everyone else "racists", rather Barack needs to convince the voters (that is, the majority of ALL voters) that he is Presidential material.

What is sad is that skeletons continue to appear in Barack's closet and so it's too bad for the Obama supporters that they couldn't have had a candidate with less controversial issues looming over him.

As for Hillary, you can't say that she should not be fighting to win the Presidential race, there's no other way a candidate is going to get in. We hire politicians because they can take the heat, they can keep on fighting, and they come out with the best solution for everyone, not because they schmooze the people into believing something that they can't show proof of in a debate.

Barack did very badly at the last debate, that's his fault and no one else's.

As for Hillary, she has big plans(Universal Healthcare, Education, bringing the troops home, fiscal reconciliation, and reducing our dependence on foreign oil) to make America a better place, and she doesn't intend to take away our Patriotism to do it.

Oh and before you spike me for Universal Healthcare, take note of this: "America is the only wealthy, industrialized nation that does NOT provide a Universal Healthcare System"
-source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_care
Anybody that tells you that Universal Healthcare is NOT good either is uninformed, or works for a healthcare insurance company (that makes profit from denying people the benefits they paid for).

IT'S TIME AMERICA:

It's time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP.

Hillary Clinton seemed almost somber at her victory speech. As if part of her was hoping Obama could have defeated her. And proved he had some chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources. In all honesty. I felt some of that too.

But it is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up.

Hillary Clinton say's that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Mr. Obama faces a test of whether he has what it takes to be a commander and chief by facing the difficult facts, and the truth before him. And by doing what is best for the American people by dropping out of the race, and offering his whole hearted assistance to Hillary Clinton to help her take back the Whitehouse for the American people, and the World.

Mr. Obama is a great speaker. And I am confident he can explain to the American people the need, and wisdom of such a personal sacrifice for them. It should be clear to everyone by now that Hillary Clinton is fighting her heart out for the American people. She has known for a long time that Mr. Obama can not win this November. You have to remember that the Clinton's have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it takes.

If Mr. Obama fails his test of commander and chief we can only hope that Hillary Clinton can continue her heroic fight for the American people. And that she prevails. She will need all the continual support and help we can give her. She may fight like a superhuman. But she is only human.

Sen. Hillary Clinton: "You know, more people have now voted for me than have voted for my opponent. In fact, I now have more votes than anybody has ever had in a primary contest for a nomination. And it's also clear that we've got nine more important contests to go."

Sincerely

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary's than they had ever been before or since.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)

Best regards

jacksmith... Working Class :-)

p.s. You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you don't know that the huge amounts of money funding the Obama campaign to try and defeat Hillary Clinton is coming in from the insurance, and medical industry, that has been ripping you off, and killing you and your children. And denying you, and your loved ones the life saving medical care you needed. All just so they can make more huge immoral profits for them-selves off of your suffering...

You see, back in 1993 Hillary Clinton had the audacity, and nerve to try and get quality, affordable universal health care for everyone to prevent the suffering and needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of you each year. :-)

Approx. 100,000 of you die each year from medical accidents from a rush to profit by the insurance, and medical industry. Another 120,000 of you die each year from treatable illness that people in other developed countries don't die from. And I could go on, and on...

Both Obama and Clinton have character flaws. Some say Clinton does not appear trustworthy. However, she's a typical politician. Politicians must pander to appeal to a broad-base as possible.

Obama does this as well. But, I have to say Obama is a different type of politician. He has the AUDACITY to stand-by and support a racist minister. He draws inspiration from a man who implores his congregation to say "God Damn America" and claims that a white government gave black people AIDs. Obama wishes to CHANGE America. What kind of change does he want? He campaigns on a politics of CHANGE. But it seems to be a campaign of race-bullying, machinations where he throws around straw man arguments and attempts to put words in his opponents' mouths. He is an outstanding charlatan and there are definitely some who are fooled.

Obama is a different kind of politician. But for me, I'd rather take the pandering politician over the one who seeks to divide America and bring about its downfall. Obama is a hater masquerading around as a uniter. See past his tricks.

If Obama is such a winner, how come he's not winning by a LANDSLIDE?

Hillary has been hanging in there, fighting the tough fight from the beginning. When Obama was getting his pillow and being pampered, Hillary was taking it head-on (for 20 DEBATES!!). Now Obama shows up with WEAK answers to a debate, and makes a fool of himself, and it's Hillary's fault?

CBS was only asking the questions that their viewers asked (and that GOP will burn Obama with). This was a good test. But Obama has FAILED the test. And now Obama's supporters are coming out saying it's CBS's fault?

What a joke.

4 years of presidency will make Obama's 45 minutes of tough questions during the debate feel like a back massage.

There's no way Obama is Presidential Material. Face it.

Colin Powell, now that's a man with a backbone. Obama, he's a flounder.

Hey TreeTracker, you are on the right track! There will be a CNN documentary title Black in America. No doubt it will only be an expose on what we (me) as Blacks already know about being Black in America. It will also no doubt attempt to measure any perceived progress by posing the question: Are things better today for Blacks than they were in some past period. But the dicussion that would really benchmark racial attitudes would be one, white folks to white folks. White folks need to ask other White folks, "have we progressed?" It would be interesting to see what White folks really think about themselves, their parents, grandparent, great greats and all the way back to when White folks stole this country from the people who were here already. What do you think about this idea?

To: Gov. Howard Dean of the Democratic National Party
http://www.democrats.org/page/petition/chairman

April 25th, 2008

Dear Governor Dean,

As a voter who originally intended to vote for a Democratic Presidential Primary Candidate, I am writing to encourage you to help save the chances that the Democratic National Party has for putting a President in office.

First of all, I believe that if we would have had all Primary ballot voting as opposed to using the cumbersome caucus process, the Democratic candidate would have already been selected. That candidate would without a doubt be Hillary Clinton. But instead, perhaps even on purpose, the powers that be have tried to push Mr. Obama into the Primary as the candidate. Barack Obama has had the most favortism from the press during his run and has been overwhelmingly favored by the caucus process because the people who have the opportunity to get out and make it to the caucus are squarely Mr. Obama's demographic target groups. Hillary Clinton's target group, the working class(and also majority of America) are actually less capable of making it to a caucus likely because they are working or too old to be mobile enough to make it.

Second, and more importantly, with the recent coming out of skeletons-in-closet, Barack Obama has proven that he cannot make the candidacy as the nominee. I mean really, outspending Hillary 3 to 1 in Pennsylvania and still losing the contest? Very serious doubts about Obama's electibility have arisen and there's no way the majority of voters are going to select him to be the President. And by not having a Universal Healthcare Program, Obama is not properly representing the Democratic Party in my opinion. America is the only wealthy, industrialized nation in the world that doesn't have a Universal Healthcare Program. This is very, very bad!! This leaves the Democrats in a bad position because of all the hype that has been generated by Obama, which will make it more painful for a percentage of voters to rally behind Hillary Clinton. However, I believe it to still be entirely possible for the Democrats to rally behind Hillary Clinton given the direct endorsement of Obama after he drops out of the contest.

So at this juncture it's about UN-alienating the 2.xx MILLION voters of Michigan and Florida by seating their delegates in a way that is representative to their original votes. This is only fair. Splitting the votes half and half basically DOES NOTHING but mock the voters! Also, Hillary will get the deserved advantage of being awarded more delegates in this scenario because that's what she already won.

So this is a message about UNITING the Democrats of America by giving Hillary Clinton the credit she rightly deserves and stop playing this nonsense of trying to force the UN-electable candidate into the nomination.

But don't take my word for it. If you look around, you will find that many people like me are going to give their vote to the Honorable John McCain if the press and the DNC(or whoever is rigging the system) succeeds in forcing Mr. Obama into the nomination.

Thanks for reading.

Regards,

Working Class Voter

I have to agree that Obama did not look good in the debate. However, I also cannot bring myself to trust Hillary either. Every time she answers a question, it is not a straightforward answer, but a potomac two-step dance. I do think she is gaining strength, but tend to believe that she is more in it for her ego than for others. Obama does need to work on his campaigning, but I suspect that many of the inspired voters, like me, will no longer be inspired in November as Hillary just doesn't make me believe. She is a clone politician. And, yes, maybe Obama will not be able to push real change through (still would have to deal with congress), but he has vision and inspiration, the same thing that led us to the moon.

To all non-black minorities lets follow the path of blacks and use violence as a way to address racism to our respective races. Blacks burned Watts, Detroit, Los Angeles, etc., and white people listen. If one of our people commits a murder, rapes, or robs a white person lets threaten them with a race riot so they will walk.
Non-violence and assimilation is not the answer. The American Dream is dead. Black people have assassinated the American Dream. Traditional American values have been replaced with a culture of hate. The days of taking accountability for your actions are over. Non-black minorities stop working hard. Be like black people. Start killing, raping, and robbing white people. Blame everything on white people. Only then will white people acknowledge our existence and address racism to our respective groups.

I will agree that she is practical, intelligent and strategic. No doubt. Her leadership skill however is not clear: she lied and exaggerated on many of her foreign country "experience" (Bosnia, Ireland) and let's not forget that her inability to run a campaign, failing in organisation, discipline and honesty, is appaling.
And what is most clear is that she will use the skills she has to do one thing: gain and hoard power, and further build out the Clinton dynasty. Her religious group that she strongly associates with is very clear in the notion that having power matters and that a network of powerful will rule those that are below them with disgraceful politics.
Hillary is not trustworthy. She will betray the country.

Well, this obviously looks like a site where some race discussion should take place. Wow! There are some pretty harsh comments here. Can I weigh in? Not being an African-American, Asian or Latino, you'll probably not want to have a discussion...I'm just an old white lady. But let's pick this apart can we?

First of all the African-Americans in this country have a right to be angry. I'm white and it makes me angry. Slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, the Tuskegee experiment that when on for 30 years or more. And, finally, the Civil Rights Act was signed thanks to both Martin Luther King (and many others) and Lyndon Baines Johnson. But then, what...not much. Rather than trying to deal with the problem of poor people (all poor people), the only result was money being thrown at the problem. Not education, not small business loans (that finally came much, much later) that could have created jobs, no training in trades, nothing. And somehow they expected some magical result. No, I do not know your pain, nor do I know all the problems. But I know enough to know that soon the poverty in this country needs to be resolved. And it will only be resolved with education and jobs. The Latino community has not experienced what the black community has experienced. Nor has the Asian community to some extent. But if you read your history, you'll learn that the Chinese were treated as badly as the blacks in many cases for many years and were not even allowed to pursue citizenship until about 1945. American Indians were treated badly as well. We cannot change history, but we need to move beyond it, even knowing how bad it was. History books are written by the victor. We need to change those books to reflect the truth of our history, not just what was good about it.

Yes, there is still racism in this country...but it's not one sided. And the only way it will be resolved is when we 1) face up to it, rather than try to hide it and 2) create an economy and an educational system that works fairly for everyone, 3) everyone needs to take responsiblity for their own actions and respect themselves for those actions and 4) we must have HOPE.

Without hope, no one has a future. If you cannot hope for a better life, you will not waste time working for it. Hope has not been a part of the African-American community for some time, in my humble opinion. It's time for everyone to have hope, not just some. I have my own hopes for this country and I think Obama just might be the guy who can deliver. I hope so!

Hillary Clinton is a practical, intelligent, strategic individual who has the skill-set and will to do what is necessary to lead this country out of a recession and into a brighter future.
On a sidenote, most people seem to be making comments that attack one candidate or the other. Attacks on other candidates do little to convince people. Calling Hillary names, will not convince me to support Obama. For some reason, people fail to see this; maybe Obama's supporters real goal is to divide rather than unify the party.
We will fall if divided, and its time for the party to unify under the one candidate that can lead not only the party, but the country in the future - Hillary Clinton.

And Treyshuan and Masai, what century are you in? Your racist and sexist remarks are representative of the type of language that has no place in our society and has perpetuated the divisiveness in this campaign.

To Mexican President, I agree - there should be more done to address the racism that Latinos and Asians face. Its unfortunate that the media, Hollywood, and entertainment seems to look the other way when it comes to the underrepresentation of Latino and Asian males in these arenas. This country is for all Americans including Asians and Latinos.

Hey Treyshaun and Masai, Obama has already planted the CHANGE in Kenya when he worked so hard to get Odinga elected. I don't think a lot of people know that Odinga is not only a communist Muslim whose first order of business was going to be to replace Kenya's democracy with Islamic law, but that he shares a vision with Gaddafi to see Africa become a Pan African/Islamic socialist nation. That's why besides Obama, Gaddafi also supported Odinga's campaign. Although Odinga didn't get to become president of Kenya, he was able to do a little ethnic cleansing of around 1000 Kenyans which secured him the title of prime minister. Anyway, now that he's Kenya's prime minister, any day now he'll attempt a coup like he's done in the past and kill the president of Kenya so he can take his place and finally impose Islamic law. I'm sure you'd both be much happier living in Kenya then in the United States. There you'd be able to fully appreciate and enjoy the CHANGE and even have a front row seat watching it happen. You can probably even join in on the ethnic cleansing festivities. May I suggest giving Farrakhan a call to help you out with the airfare.

Masai and Treyshaun:

I am completely disgusted by your comments. Your statements are illustrative of what is wrong with race relations in America. You continuously stoke the flames of hate and intolerance. Hey buddy, you can't defeat racism with more extreme racism.

Unfortunately, most whites today are scared of being called a racist and fail to see that its illogical to promote one race (blacks) at the exclusion of all others. All races face some kind of discrimination. But while Asians and Latinos continuously work hard and live the American Dream, black people continuously shatter the American Dream.

The fact that Asian people who face just as much (if not more racism than you), and face both cultural and language barriers and still succeed says something. Meanwhile, blacks who don't have to learn a new language and culture, and have been here for generations still can't get their act together. This is why blacks resent Asians.

Also, I like working hard. I like earning my keep and am proud of being an American. Should I be ashamed of that? I am not white, but I am an American. Its unfortunate that hip hop is becoming mainstream and values such as your and Wright's are given lip-service.

I am proud to be an American, and I will gladly do what it takes to make this country better for everyone (rather than one particular group). Masai and Treyshaun, it is clear that you won't do the same and in fact, it seems that you want to keep other non-black groups back. I, as a Latino, have worked hard to be an American, what have you done?

Masai Hanley, my dude. We gotta get up sometime, haven't seen u in a minute.

Mexican President - your wilin'. Mexicans are the new uncle toms and Asians are basically white ppl. No one cares about your issues, because frankly my boy, no one gives a fu**. So, you can go ahead and mow my land, and have your Asian homeboy give me a physical and do my taxes.
There's obviously racism in this country. Why is that Asians who dont even speak english get opportunities that blacks don't. Why is there so many Asian doctors when they can't even speak the language? Why is there so many Asians rolling around in mercedes and flaunting gucci bags while the black folk are still taking public transportation? Obviously there's something going on here. Like I said, Asian ppl are basically white ppl. And Mexicans, well you folk are too stupid to rise up. You get everything you deserve.

I live in Bloomington, when Obama was here, the whole city was talking about it. Everybody was excited. Hillary was here today? I've talked to a bunch of people--nobody knew she was here, nobody cared.

Masai Hanley:

You're welcome (I guess). I honestly meant no disrespect, as I just wanted to know where this misinformation is coming from : )

Mexican President,
Are you serious? No one cares about your people or Asians. I'm tired of white folk talking about how successful Asians are, or why is it that some slant-eyed dude from the Orient can do well on SAT's, get into good schools, and get good jobs without affirmative action. Or why can't blacks work as hard as Mexicans.
I'll tell u what boy, we ain't like u. We're not as stupid as Latinos and Asians to be toiling for the white man and trying to assimalate into his racist culture. We live in a government of white sponsored racism. If Latinos and Asians can't see that, thats they bad.
CHANGE is coming, and we'll get u fools too. Our time has come. When your white master's time is done, who you gonna run to?

JakeD - your one intelligent white man (sarcasm added). Thank you sir, for correcting my brethren. I bet it makes you happy when we tripped up on one detail. Treyshaun is right though, we have the politics of CHANGE. And we got a racist skirt whose stopping the change for her own selfish ambitions. And its white folk like you who like focus on ever misstatement or mistake that black males make.
Why don't you focus on your own pathetic life and your own inadequacies, time's are changing, and your time is done. My boy Treshaun, 1.

I used to work hard and I used to follow the American Dream and tried to pick myself up from the bootstraps and provide opportunities for my children that I didn't have. I kept quiet and worked hard. I was accountable for my own actions, and knew that I determined my destiny. I would rise and fall by my own merits. But I have learned something from black people.

I HATE WHITE PEOPLE. Saying this, believing this, and blaming my economic situation on white people will get white people's attention. This is the lesson I've learned from black people. It works. I think I will now proceed to rob white people, kill white people, rape white people, and blame all my problems on white people.

Hard work has gotten me nowhere. I thank black people and white people stupid enough to listen to them for showing me that the American Dream is dead and traditional American values are dead. We live in a new era, and I'm ready for the CHANGE.

KILL WHITEY, RAPE WHITEY, ROB WHITEY IS THE NEW WAY OF THE FUTURE.

Treyshaun1:

The 21st Amendment repealed Prohibition. Where did you get this talking point, because this is the second time I've seen it (mistakenly) used against her.

Treyshaun1, my brother. Once again your words bring tears to my eyes. When I see your comments on various blogs, I know that there will hope and real black leaders in the future. I can only pray that my son will have half your strength.
It is time for us to unite and take this woman out. We've come a long way, and we got this woman whose still stuck in la la land.
Racism is alive and well in this country, and these white folk will get whats coming to them. Our time has come, hehe. Treyshaun, my brother, stay up. 1.

Clinton is st8 ridiculous. Everyone knows men and women are different. The rest of the world knows this. Muslims keep their women in check. It's time for real men in America to do the same. If your a real dude, keep your women in the kitchen. The 21st Amendment was the worse thing to happen to America.
It's time to take this woman out. The politics of change is here, and we got a skirt - thanks to the liberal media - and elite white ppl who are on some messed up idealogoical sh**. Men and women are different; history does not lie, and the rest of world doesn't either. This is troubling times we're in, and we need the politics of change. Hillary get yourself back in the hot kitchen. Real dudes, keep your woman from voting (thats the only group she got along with racist white folk), and keep them and Hillary in the kitchen where they belong. Our time has come, move over. 1.
