Bill Clinton Urges N.C. Voters to 'Start an Earthquake'

By Ed O'Keefe
RALEIGH, N.C. -- A hoarse and visibly tired Bill Clinton rushed through the reasons to vote for his wife, telling a crowd of approximately 1,000 people tonight that "North Carolina can start an earthquake tomorrow."

"They've declared her dead more times than a cat's got lives," the former president said from the back of a white 1948 Ford F1 pickup in the parking lot of the campaign's state headquarters. He made nine campaign stops across the Tar Heel State on Monday, a one-day record for the former president, according to campaign staffers.

"Sleep on it, but not too long. And when you get up tomorrow, you just remember, every person you call, every person you switch, every person you touch can make the difference."

As The Post reported on Monday, the campaign's self-proclaimed "ambassador to small-town America," is attracting large crowds in smaller towns. In the state capital he also attracted voters likely to vote for Obama.

"I think party politics are ruining our country right now, and I think he can bridge the gap between both Republicans and Democrats better than Hillary can," said Jeff Laird, 24, a student at nearby North Carolina State University.

"We talk about it a bit," Laird said of Tuesday's primary. "I hear more Obama support than Hillary."

Several older Raleigh locals sat toward the back of the crowd in the back seats of Raleigh Rickshaw Co. bicycles that are parked each night by campaign headquarters. One of the bike squatters, Lewanna Stout, 65, predicted a Clinton victory despite polls suggesting Barack Obama will win.

"Some of it was that minister," Stout said, referring to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's recent statements.

"I really think she came out of the hopper with what to do. I think it took Obama a little longer. He was talking about change, but didn't really talk about what he wanted to do," the retired special educator added.

You're right Diana, There is a lot of misogyny in this country and it is certainly expressing itself in the primaries. And that includes a lot of women, who also enjoy the worst type of misogynistic crap rap. There is also among the young a lot of reverse racism. I don't mean from blacks but from whites. It's all rather puerile. This mindless love and adoration of Obama who has indicated nothing that he would do for the country but promote platitudes as discourse is even more bewildering. Check his record, check his associations. Not only three, yes, three, crazy so-called spiritual mentors, but also a motley group of slum lords, unrepentant domestic terrorists, Iraqi regime criminals, and the latest news that he is possibly involved in fraud and money laundering. Complete hearsay, but there are rumors in the gay community that he is a bisexual crackhead to boot. Half of this may not be true, but the point is that Clinton has been vetted. To be overawed by an undoubtedly charismatic orator who has not been vetted is a level of mindlessness that brought Hitler to power. Another charismatic orator who caused women to faint at his very word, and who even Churchill admired. Yes, Churchill, in the early thirties said "if only we had men like him in Britain, it would be a greater country". But mindless still, even for Churchill, for like Obama, Hitler's autobiography was available, and like the Germans, how many of you have read his first autobiography? If you had, and you have the insight and discernment to read between the lines, it would be clear to you that he is an extreme left wing black racist that could easily adopt black liberation theology, and cause some serious havoc in the country. He even writes how he manipulated his mother and how he cultivated his smile for whitey. Get real and reflect on your idealism. Obama offers nothing but false hope, pretty platitudes and an eventual escape to a place of cynical disappointment.

To: Linda and ALL the people spouting off comments about "Bob" and anyone ELSE who might not agree to disagree.. Stop the name calling and antagonizing banter about foolishness and realize that the future is written.. Hillary Clinton IS going to be the next President whether you agree with, dislike it or otherwise. Accept it and get on with your lives. TRUST ME Mrs Clinton does a marvelous job during her eight years in office. I am from the future and this is fact RK SD- 2715

I cannot believe the misstatements by Hillary supporters. 35 years of experience? Wasn't she elected to the Senate in 2000, that is 8 years.

I guess you mean she inherited her husband's experience, through osmosis.

If I was married to a policeman, I guess that would give me enough experience to be a detective.

As far as the media, it is not a coincidence that the less coverage of Obama and his speeches, the less of a bump he is getting. What a surprise that ABC, the NY Times, and other east coast media is tearing him a new hole.

I cannot believe we are again falling for non-truths portrayed as truth, fiction called fact, and hype called momentum.

Do we really want another President that is elected using the Karl Rove philosophy?

At least Obama is the least tainted candidate and could actually change the system, he owes the least favors to lobbyists and insiders.

Bill knows the way to success:

Lots of hard work. He is naturally one of you. Not like OBAMA standing behind the podium pretending to inspire.

After what he has done for the country, the media choose to report only his negativity. The media is seriously at fault and pandering OBAMA.

There is a big word standing out in the party: FAVORITISM against the Clintons.

The Clintons are awesome; The OBAMA & company are aweful.

The only traitor here is Barry Hussein - campaigning for his jihadist 1/2 brother in Kenya. If he doesn't like his name he should change it. Otherwise, too bad.

Your sophistry may work in your mind but won't fool most people. Posts that capitalize BHO's middle name do so for only one purpose -- to incite bigotry. Caricatures of a person's name are a very low form of criticism that detracts from any discussion.

I'm sure that your name could be subject to ridicule were it known here. You generally don't choose your own name. You disrespect your parents if you change it. If, as you suggest, Barack did change his name, you'd revile him even more for doing so.

Face the facts. You're playing to people's bigotry. When Islam (or Judaism or Catholicism or Buddhism or Protestantism) enters into the dialog, especially in indirect ways, you're making a statement that our Constitutional separation of church and state is a bad idea. You're implying, but are too cowardly to state directly, that there should be a religious test for political office. That, unlike your baseless accusations of Barack, is traitorous to our country's most fundamental principles.

Do us all a favor and go away!

Those of you who attempt to slur Barack Obama by using his middle name in capitals are trampling on our country's most sacred document...

Since when is calling someone by their given name a "slur"? Since when, as Barry Hussein said, calling someone a Muslim a "slur"?

He has a constitutional right to share the Arab name of Saddam Hussein and a last name that rhymes with Osama bin laden.
And people have the right to point it out, and that his 1/2 brother is a jihadist Muslim in Kenya. FACTS are difficult for the blind Obama followers to follow, I know.

The only traitor here is Barry Hussein - campaigning for his jihadist 1/2 brother in Kenya. If he doesn't like his name he should change it. Otherwise, too bad.

Hillary's gas tax "holiday" is so emblematic of her entire campaign that it should be the primary topic of conversation everywhere.

Forget about non-issues such as which pastor married you. Hillary has huge numbers of skeletons in the Hill-Bill closet, which seriously overwhelm anything of Obama. So, just move on.

The gas tax thing is a gimmick.

1. HRC copied the idea from conservative McCain.

2. HRC added on some sugar in the form of a "windfall profits tax" on oil companies that actually is a "poison pill" that makes her plan unenactable. Congress will not pass and Bush will not sign it. It's simply electioneering fluff.

3. The real savings for all but a few people who commute too far in gas-guzzlers will be quite small, $20-$30. (Truckers are an exception who should be helped in another way more specific to their situation.)

4. Decreasing price will increase demand, which will cause price to move up by, maybe, half. Now, you're saving $10-$15 over the summer.

5. Loss of revenue (remember that oil company tax cannot get past Bush's desk) will continue destruction of our roads and bridges and create job loss for 300,000 construction workers. Hillary cares for working class?

6. Increase in demand increases dependence on foreign oil and adds money to Arab countries where some will find its way into madrassas and other anti-American activities. Is this what we're looking for in a commander in chief?

7. Loss of revenue will cause us to borrow more money from China -- if they'll keep up the lending. We have to raise taxes to balance the budget and have to do it now. None of the candidates is truly facing this reality because it's political cyanide.

Result of Hillary's idea = loss of jobs, comfort to enemies, declining standard of living, enrichment of the rich. What a fool she is!

It's truly unfortunate that so many people hide their racism behind indirect and ad hominem attacks such as guilt by association (Wright) and guilt by birth certificate (middle name -- bestowed before you ever heard of the guy in Iraq).

Obama is not a Muslim. Yet, that would not be a reason to oppose his nomination. The Constitution of our great country says so. Those of you who attempt to slur Barack Obama by using his middle name in capitals are trampling on our country's most sacred document. You're simply traitors to our tradition. And, you're too cowardly to discuss real issues.

Some people posting on this blog are enraged with fear...and that fear is embedded in how they live their lives ..there innate opinions of others and how they have treated others throughout their lives.... to make statements and refer to Senator Obama's middle name as a metaphor for his alignment with the Arab world is dastardly.. Senator Obama is A Christian and a true American.. most people want to keep the status quo because that is what they are most comfortable with. they are motivated by selfishness..they do not consider the big picture and what is best for's all about their little one time savings of $28.00 at the gas pump with no consideration for the thousands of Americans who will lose jobs as a result of this gimmick.. it's time that people start thinking about what's best for America and to hire Hillary Clinton or John McCain to run this country would be a serious mistake..they are too-too willing to rush into another war without first trying diplomacy.. that John Wayne six-shooter mentality has got to stop.. we have to get back to being the class act that America IS......

Obama offers real change for both states and for the country. Hillary's "proposal" to drop the gas tax for the summer and have the oil companies pay for it is a double lie:

She knows for a fact it won't and can't be done this summer. She is raising false hopes knowingly and with a smile on her face and will waltz away when the election is over. The tax on the oil companies is too complicated to do by May 30 (less than a month away), nobody in Congress or the White House supports dropping the tax, and she hasn't written a bill to do it. So it is a fantasy that will not happen.

But if by magic it DID happen, the price at the pump would come right back up to make up for the reduction, because of the law of supply and demand. AAnd since we probably would NOT have taxed the oil companies all that would have happened is that the money would go to whoever is selling the gas instead of to the highway trust fund, taking away road construction jobs that fund usually pays for.

She picked up on this idea after John McCain threw it out there with a bunch of ideas nobody thinks make economic sense, because he is still getting a handle on economic policy. At least it was just one of several ideas for him and not the linchpin. She knows it won't happen and that it wouldn't reduce prices. She can't name an economist who supports it.

She says she doesn't "go with" the economists and they are elite. Not just some economists, but all of them, should be ignored. She is simply not qualified to be president any more.

As an uncertain voter, I've tried to weigh the prospects of which candidate has the best chance of winning the election. I do not actually see any candidate that truly appeals to me. I do, however, believe that the country needs a Democrat in the President's office before J.R.Ewing, or whatever the current President's name is, hands the country over to OPEC. Right now I think Hillary has a much better chance of winning the nomination simply because she is a "baby boomer". This looks like a job for the "Pig in the Python".

Re: MS Change08 Campaign Ship Sunk

The Junior Senator from Illinois, Barack "Hussein" Obama's list of credentials has become as questionable as his lack of character proven most recently thanks to his Pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright; who spoke only the truth from his pulpit to those attending Trinity United Church of Christ. The Reverends words and comments would be the beginning of what has spiraled into a downward turn of events for the once charismatic man from Hawai'i. It's been said the truth can hurt not surprisingly Rev. Wright is not finished with his sermon yet; your about to taking a verbal lashing from your scorned pastor of many years.

The Illinois State Senator isn't remotely experienced to sit behind the desk in the oval office nor is he educated in (hands-On) US foreign affairs to represent the United States of America, as its President Commander in Chief. He lacks the very basic of skills to provide security to the Nation. The Democratic Party have raised expectations so high American voters believe "Change08 is coming," the truth be told the only change will be from creased slacks to a tailored pant-suit; while in the mean time were stuck with the self-centered, increasingly arrogant Senator's message of "Change08," played out on his soap box.

Senator Obama got what he wanted from the State of Hawai'i "It's votes," Hawaii's voters turned out in masses standing in lines that were in some polls a 6 hour wait to "cast their vote." The Change08 campaign should have flown over to HNL International Airport; at the very least out of respect for the Democratic (all) volunteer party who worked endlessly to get the voters out to the polls; succeeding in record numbers.

Except Senator Obama decided not to show his face to the very ones who worked endless hours so as those votes would be cast not attending his own State caucus; Admittedly he dislikes Hawai'i and only comes to the islands for the Holidays to visit his Grandmother, in his first book "Dreams of my Father," he tells a story of the Hawaiian islands not being on any list of favorite destinations; most recently choosing to vacation in the Bahamas' not Honolulu where his aging Grandmother lives in Honolulu. Where's his Christian morals, values and principles he speaks highly of endlessly to then vacation in the Bahamas' not home in Hawai'i to visit his elderly Grandmother.

How easy Senator forgets,"We the People," campaigning with no time for the very Islands he grew up on where attending the prestigious private Punahou High School that gave him his privileged start in life. The State of Hawai'i gave Senator Obama a private education, that lanky kid who attended a prestigious private school at Grandmother's expense who thoughtlessly had the audacity referring to her recently as just another "Typical White Woman." What was he thinking? Having no-written speech to answer; his first thoughts were heard loud and clear on every television station.

Scrutinized throughout the same entire media; The Rev. Jeremiah Wright's comments have come back to haunt the Senator, his own wife's pleading with the press Lets move past Wright,"That her husband's move to distance himself from his controversial former minister has been "painful," but that she's pleased with the way he's handled the situation." Another scripted speech responding on behalf of their campaign while supporting her husband's hands which are still in a questionable jar.

Obama's Change08 Campaign is taking on water from the "Left and Right," going down slowly. This is Washington's finest political performances; certainly one that will keep the junior Senator up late-nights listening to analysts polls while watching the water rising onboard. "Get ready to grab anything inflatable when the time comes Senator," it's beginning to look as though you'll be abandoning your MS Change08 Campaign Ship soon, Don't forget woman and children go first.

Re: Meet the Press & Face the Nation LIVE Interviews Sunday May 4th, 2008

The most recent book written by Barack "Hussein" Obama "The Audacity of Hope," Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream; released by Crown Publishers 2006, Should have been titled "The Audacity to give false Hope," - Thoughts of reclaiming America's Dream's; but stretching a little to thin; As well, written in 1995 republished in 2004, Senator, Barack "Hussein" Obama's first written book, "Dreams of my Father," A story of Race and Inheritance, released by Three Rivers Press, New York, New York 1995; Should have been titled "Dreams, Dreams and more Dreams - My Father abandoned me with my Dreams too, "The story of his Grandmother raising him in Hawai'i, The lanky brat who attended the prestigious Private Punahou High School at Grandmothers expense. Having read both published books written by the Junior Senator, often finding myself reading between the lines (per-say), making choice's of what could be truth and what's stretched too thin.

Sunday May 4, 2008 after watching the Senator as guest on "Face the Nation," and "Meet the Press," I quickly came to the conclusion each book I own will be donated. They're nothing in comparison as to what (he) was asked, addressed, answered and stated as true; especially when drilled repeatedly by Tim Russert. The Senator doesn't do well under pressure. Mr. Russert is very good at what he does, using news video clips that allowed the Senator to contradict himself under pressure, still believing in the all-mighty Rev. Wright as a good man. "How easy the Senator forgets he's not the only one with an education," it was so thick while questions were asked you could slice it. Tell them eat cake Obama!

Obama's words spilled on camera less credible then when he came arrived much more confident in manor only now with some very questionable thoughts after the airing of Meet the Press & Face the Nation. That's alright, America wants to see a potential Commander in Chief under the spot lamps when the heats on -"they sure got their Sunday mornings worth. After watching both programs narrated by two of the best in the business an entirely new side of Obama was seen "the man usually seen with a written speech in hand on his soap box," just not for those two interviews.

Ask yourself: With the current economic conditions the State of our Nation is in, could this first time junior elected Senator ever fill the position as President of the United States? Not after 55 minutes minus commercial time with Tim Russert at the helm, Obama proved he couldn't. It's all words of fiction and or Dream's of mere thoughts. Americans are watching this election like none before it and they know the candidates, where they stand, and what issues are not being addressed, "We the people," are smarter then Obama apparently give credit for.

America wants experience and hands-on skills not someone to patronize them; Mr. Russert made it look easy making the Senator squirm and sweat. He never had my vote then but before the program was over I wondered how many others who watched each program Sunday morning decided to support Senator Clinton. He contradicted himself one to many times; Obama is not the man for the Oval Office and what you put out in this world is what you get back - look close at Rev. Wright.

We all know Obama passed on the Trinity's offering platter a time or two too many, now it "looks as though (He's) getting back; what (He) put out there," maybe now would be a good time to visit his Grandmother he's avoided the last year.

Hillary has already shown how good a campaigner she is, but has to win in Indiana and come close in North Carolina to be a credible candidate. Such an outcome is achievable if the polls are believable. The candidate for change appears stuck on his pastor problem, and can't seem to change the subject. It is the perception about his beliefs and his clinging to Rev. Wright for too long that did him in. But he can still end this competition with a decisive win in both states. Just winning North Carolina on the strength of African American votes won't do. He has to win big in North Carolina with substantial white votes to remain credible as a democratic nominee. Hillary needs to win both to call it a game changer. We will know this evening.

I beg to differ. There is plenty of proof of her "misstatements", Bosnia, NAFTA, etc. It is a fact, not a vicious lie.

All the polls show that she has the majority of voters without college educations. That does not mean that they are not as intelligent as anyone else, but it is a fact.

How can she not be described as "old school"? She has such a web of insiders and lobbyists that have contributed to her campaign and helped her turn to the dark side.

Obama was not negative until he was attacked repeatedly by Hillary. The losing candidate usually goes negative.

As far as uniting the party, who was it that said that only McCain and Hillary are qualified to be President? Oh yeah, that was Hilldog.

Can someone please explain to me how throwing such rhetorical firebombs and slanderous comments is a "change" from "politics as usual"?

Those who spout such nonesense while claiming to support a candidate who says he is all about getting away from that very sort of thing when it's aimed at him are a bunch of children. Grow up.

If you genuinely believe what you say about "change" then promote the change you claim to believe in with actions and words.

If you just denigrate your opponents and their candidate with childish name calling you clearly don't believe in anything Obama says he stands for and are just a hypocrite. You aren't for uniting anyone. You just feel a need to assuage your own insecurities by putting down someone else.

There are genuine supporters of what Obama claims to stand for out there but there seem to be very few of them here.

Some examples of Hillary and Obama votes:

The first letter represents Hillary's vote, the second represents Obama's, and an X represents 'no vote.'

Y-N - Nov-05 - Tax Reconciliation Bill: Vote to Extend Tax Cuts
Y-N - Aug-06 - Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006: Vote to Expand Oil Drilling in the Gulf
N-Y - Jul-05 - Energy Policy Act of 2005: Vote for Clean/Alternative Energy Policy
N-Y - Jul-06 - USEMA Amendment: Vote to abolish FEMA, replace with USEMA
N-Y - Jul-06 - Firearm Confiscation Prohibition Amendment: Vote to protect right to bear arms in an emergency/disastor
N-Y - Sep-06 - Cluster Munitions Amendment: Vote to prohibit any funding from going to cluster bombs
X-N - Mar-05 - Bankruptcy Reform Bill: Vote to increase the difficulty of claiming bankruptcy
Y-X - Apr-05 - Future Military Funding for Iraq Amendment: Vote for non-binding agreement about how military funds are categorized

Bills that Clinton voted on before Obama became a Senator, but has since either expressed or implied disagreement with, or that do not typically represent the actions of a democrat:

Sep-01 - Military Force Authorization Resolution: Vote to allow the President to use force against nations that harbor or aid terrorists
Oct-01 - USA Patriot Act of 2001: "Vote to pass a bill that grants law enforcement more authority to search homes, tap phone lines, and track internet use of those suspected of terrorism for four years."

So let's see, Hillary was for the war, was for allowing unlimited searches, against the clean alternative energy bill, for drilling on the Gulf coast, etc.

I have looked at how both candidates have voted and choose Obama.

Why is it that every single time you disagree with how Obama has voted on the issues, excluding his ooops I pushed the wrong button twice. His committee records. The first thing out of Obama's supporters is, "Your a Racist" That is getting so very, very old. What if Clinton supporters turned the tables and said "You discriminate against women, the only reason your not willing to vote for her is because she is a woman!" Every single time you opened your mouth. Have they? No they haven't and they're the uneducated ones. That's laughable. An education apparently doesn't do a thing for wisdom or knowledge. You all want to walk through life with blinders on living in Neverland and believing nothing but promises. As you scream about how sick you are of all the promises. The man has 0 achievements. His voting record is horrible. His committee records are horrendous. What has he done for the people of his own state? Did he take even 10 minutes off his campaign trail to go home and comfort his people, after all it was he who voted against stiffer penalties for gangs. No he did not. He kept right on trucking as their children were dying in the streets. One only needs to look at how he's voted. He's not a humanitarian. He's not an Environmentalist by any stretch of the imagination. So what else being a Democrat is the reason to vote for him? His pretty promises. Yes I know, I'm a racist. Thank you. Of course I'm being facetious just stating what the Obama crowd is already thinking. Or wait I know I came to these conclusions based on his Rev, yeah that's his only problem...

A lot of people who are not supporting the man are using Wright, or whomever else as a way to hide their true racist nature for never wanting to support a qualified person of color as President. They hide behind their degrees but they might as well put on their hoods and sheets and be true to themselves.

It's unfortunate that this country is racist, whether covertly or overtly. And the more educated a person is, he or she may have difficulty admitting it, so they use every excuse in the book to hide it. But the more they try to hide it.

Sad, sad, country for which we live. Sad. And worldwide nations are quick to point out America's original sin of racism as the
underlying reason why Obama may not win, despite all the nastiness that is the Clintons.

Such a shame....we are laughing stocks of the world...

Well at least I can say that Bob is at least overt with his racism and reasons for not supporting Obama.

A lot of people who are not supporting the man are using Wright, or whomever else as a way to hide their true racist nature for never wanting to support a qualified person of color as President. They hide behind their degrees but they might as well put on their hoods and sheets and be true to themselves.

It's unfortunate that this country is racist, whether covertly or overtly

Very "educated" comments from the Clinton followers. Uninformed, uneducated, and ignorant. No wonder Hilliary lies so much, she KNOWS you are uninformed, uneducated, and ignorant!! LOL :)

I have an Ivy League education, and I am supporting Hillary. Many of these Obama folks might have an education, but that obviously doesn't mean that they have learned to think for themselves.

FIRSTLY i'm replying to the post by BOB....its people like you that is making this election into RACE....why use the N word....white/blacks/yellow all have a right to be on this earth....white wasn't the first color of humans you know....

i think what is happening, people are actually seeing what OBAMA is really like, and things are actually coming out about him. He is not the right person for the job....he has no experience, he doesn't vote in the senate, he has no plan.

The right person fo rthe job is Hillary....

Bob...yep you are that typical uneducated Hillary supporter. Please do this country a favor and crawl under that rock you came out from.

Oh get real...Hillary is your typical Washington politician. She will act..and say whatever will get her votes. Her own campaign admits this. Sorry...I dont want someone to will tell me bs so I vote for them. Its been that way too long in Washington. If Hillary gets the nomination...I will sit out the election as I am sure many will. The last person I want in the White House again is Bill. But who knows...maybe after the fraud trial in California he will be in prison...where he belongs...along with Hillary and all their criminal activities.

It's time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP.

Hillary Clinton seemed almost somber at her Pennsylvania victory speech. As if part of her was hoping Obama could have proved he had some chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources.

But it is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up.

Hillary Clinton say's that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Mr. Obama faces a test of whether he has what it takes to be a commander and chief by facing the difficult facts, and the truth before him. And by doing what is best for the American people by dropping out of the race, and offering his whole hearted assistance to Hillary Clinton to help her take back the Whitehouse for the American people, and the World.

Mr. Obama is a great speaker. And I am confident he can explain to the American people the need, and wisdom of such a personal sacrifice for them. It should be clear to everyone by now that Hillary Clinton is fighting her heart out for the American people. She has known for a long time that Mr. Obama can not win this November. You have to remember that the Clinton's have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it takes.

If Mr. Obama fails his test of commander and chief we can only hope that Hillary Clinton can continue her heroic fight for the American people. And that she prevails. She will need all the continual support and help we can give her. She may fight like a superhuman. But she is only human.

Sen. Hillary Clinton: "You know, more people have now voted for me than have voted for my opponent. In fact, I now have more votes than anybody has ever had in a primary contest for a nomination. And it's also clear that we've got nine more important contests to go."

If you think like Barack Obama, that WORKING CLASS PEOPLE are just a bunch of "BITTER"!, STUPID, PEASANTS, Cash COWS!, and CANNON FODDER. :-(

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary's than they had ever been before or since.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)

Best regards

jacksmith... Working Class :-)

p.s. You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you don't know that the huge amounts of money funding the Obama campaign to try and defeat Hillary Clinton is coming in from the insurance, and medical industry, that has been ripping you off, and killing you and your children. And denying you, and your loved ones the life saving medical care you needed. All just so they can make more huge immoral profits for them-selves off of your suffering...

You see, back in 1993 Hillary Clinton had the audacity, and nerve to try and get quality, affordable universal health care for everyone to prevent the suffering and needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of you each year. :-)

Approx. 100,000 of you die each year from medical accidents from a rush to profit by the insurance, and medical industry. Another 120,000 of you die each year from treatable illness that people in other developed countries don't die from. And I could go on, and on...

No way will I vote for Obama. He talks with a forked tongue from both sides of his mouth!

Posted by: jackmax | May 6, 2008 1:43 AM | Report abuse

Seems obvious from the polls taken since Super Tuesday #2 in March that a lot of persons who voted for Obama in the early months of the process are now knowing more about him, and are today supporting Hillary. Very likely a lot of Obama delegates from some of those early state primaries may be changing their votes to Hillary once at the convention in Denver.

To THS: lust for power ... that is exactly the phrase to describe how a democrat candidate chose about two months ago to spit on two million voters in Michigan and Florida when it came time to agree to re-do elections that the DNC and the other candidate had agreed upon, especially when "the other candidate" publically stated that she might end up losing in the re-dos. Lust for power is exactly what Mr. Obama and his advisors and supporters showed matter more to them than the rights of millions of democrat voters in Florida and Michigan.

we thought first, maybe obama is a good, promising candidate, but now we are not so sure, and we are feeling that maybe mrs. clinton will do better in fall. we are undecided, but many things are changing in our minds.

Many Democrats are wondering these thoughts, Johnny D, and I found your blog interesting.

As a Democrat, I want this election come November, and if Howard Dean's lunacy wrecks our chances, I will be one of the first to call for the termination of his tenure!

Posted by: mary in WA | May 6, 2008 1:08 AM | Report abuse

It's unbelievable what the lust for power will lead a person to do. Bill Clinton is used to traveling the world, staying in the best hotels, meeting with leaders in business and politics, and having people hang on his every word. Now, for the chance to restore his reputation through a second Clinton presidency, he is giving talks in small towns from the back of pick-up trucks. Pretty amazing!

This is the stuff that legends are made of,
One thought here,

1. bating an African American male against a Caucasian female, in a candidacy of the ages. Look at this mess!

2. disqualifying Florida and Michigan, where over 5 million voters cast their ballots. Very Patriotic Howard!

3. endorsing a candidate when he was nowhere even near wrapping up the nomination. Favoritism!

In minds of true Americans, Howard Dean has become one of the most inexcusable idiots the Democratic Party has ever come up with. When are we going to learn that this guy is toxic, and has no place in the future of our party.

Appreciate your thoughts,
