Obama, Clinton Treading Gently on the Stump

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) speaks to local residents in New Hampton, Iowa, in this Oct. 5, 2007 file photo. On Tuesday night, he plans to return to the state that gave him his first Democratic primary nominating victory.(Associated Press)

By Dan Balz
Barack Obama will return to Iowa Tuesday night to celebrate another milestone in his long and sometimes bitter battle against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. But the reality is that both sides have declared an effective ceasefire as they prepare to bring the party together for a general election campaign against John McCain.

Obama has moved rapidly in the past 10 days to shift away from daily sparring with Clinton and to begin a general election debate with McCain that presents a fresh set of tests for his candidacy. But, his aides insist, he is mindful that he do nothing to suggest impatience with Clinton or to signal that she end her candidacy before she is ready.

Clinton, meanwhile, soldiers on toward the end of the primaries on June 3 and perhaps longer against seemingly insurmountable odds. She is determined, aides say, neither to be pushed from the race prematurely nor to be seen as doing anything to damage Obama's prospects of winning a general election against John McCain, if Obama is the nominee. She believes, the aides say, that is the best way to bring the party together as quickly as possible once the nomination contest is over.

Obama is favored to win the Oregon primary on Tuesday, and Clinton is an even stronger favorite to win the Kentucky primary. But Obama will not celebrate primary night in either of those two states. Instead he has chosen to be in Iowa, the state where his victory in the caucuses in January turned the Democratic race upside down. There, at a rally in Des Moines, he is expected to declare the he has secured a majority of the pledged delegates currently eligible to attend the Democratic convention in Denver next August.

Obama and his advisers insist the event will stop short of a declaration that he has won the nomination. But it will be seen as another signal to superdelegates to clamber aboard the Obama bandwagon as quickly as possible.

The celebration, however, has rankled the Clinton campaign and the candidate herself, who sees it as a high-handed effort to embarrass her and to renew calls from others in the party for her to quit the race before anyone has achieved a genuine majority of pledged delegates and superdelegates.

The Clinton campaign sent out a tart memo under the name of communications director Howard Wolfson on Monday calling the Obama rally in Iowa Tuesday "a slap in the face of millions of voters in the remaining primary states and to Senator Clinton's 17 million supporters." Then, in language tying the Obama campaign to the Bush White House, the memo continued: "Premature victory laps and false declarations of victory are unwarranted. Declaring mission accomplished does not make it so."

Bill Burton, an Obama spokesman, insisted that the Iowa rally would not be a declaration of mission accomplished. "Are we declaring that we've won the nomination? No." he said. But he called the expectation that Obama will secure a majority of the pledged delegates Tuesday "an important moment" that deserved a special celebration.

The Clinton campaign memo would have been seen as commonplace a few weeks ago, when Obama and Clinton were in heated and often negative competition in states like Pennsylvania, Indiana and North Carolina. Instead, the memo stood out -- in part because it represented a departure from the tone and rhetoric of her campaign since the Indiana and North Carolina primaries.

Those contests dramatically changed perceptions of the Democratic race, even though Clinton won, narrowly, the Indiana primary. Since then, Clinton has made significant adjustments in her campaign -- all designed to signal to Obama that she recognizes the reality of where the Democratic race is heading.

She has stopped running negative ads and, on the stump, has dramatically reduced her criticism of Obama. Last week, when President Bush made comments about appeasement that were seen as critical of Obama, she might have chimed in to say that she, too, disagreed with the Illinois senator's position that he was prepared to meet Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad without conditions. Instead she ignored her long-stated differences with Obama and attacked the president and McCain.

A day after Indiana and North Carolina she was quoted as saying Obama was having trouble winning the votes of "hardworking Americans, white Americans." The comment was seen as her trying to inject race into the Democratic campaign but she quickly backed away from it, and that was the last time she said something critical of her rival that captured any headlines.

Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.), a supporter of Clinton's, called the white Americans line "the dumbest thing she could have said." Asked on CNN what she thought about his criticism, Clinton replied, "Well, he's probably right."

Obama advisers were highly irritated by her original comment, fearing that it was a sign that she would continue to hammer him all the way through to the end of the race. Since then, they too have seen a change in the rhetoric. One Obama adviser noted Monday that she has stopped attacking Obama for opposing a suspension of the gasoline tax during the summer and said that former President Clinton, campaigning over the weekend, had talked more of party unity than the differences between his wife and Obama.

But from Clinton's perspective, the Obama campaign should return the favor by being as generous to her, and to her desire to keep going until someone has achieved a clear majority of the delegates needed to win the nomination.

Clinton believes there is still an outside chance that she will end up with more popular votes than Obama once the primaries end, if the results from Florida are counted. If that is the case, she might make one more argument to superdelegates, but there is little to suggest they will be swayed to support her.

She suffered a major blow Monday when Sen. Robert C. Byrd (D-W.Va.) announced that he will support Obama, even though Clinton won his home state by 41 percentage points last Tuesday, has worked with him on a measure to de-authorize the Iraq war and has courted him repeatedly.

Her advisers say another reason she does not want to be pressured out of the race is that she believes it will be easier to bring her supporters to Obama once the primaries are over if they believe she was able to finish the nomination battle on her own terms.

That may explain the pique with which the Clinton campaign responded to reports -- overblown, according to Obama advisers -- that Tuesday night will become a victory party for the Illinois senator. Although the Democratic race appears headed for a predictable outcome, the next few weeks could determine how rapidly and fully the party comes back together. Clinton and Obama both have to play their parts carefully.

If Gov. Rendell "praised" anti-Semite racist and Black nationalist pycho Louis Farrakahn, then Rendell not only doesn't deserve a higher place in government, he should be finished in Democratic politics altogether.

This is the very first comment posted: "Hillary and her supporters are determined to divide and damage the Democratic party. They know Hillary is unelectable and can't handle it."

The problem, we know Hillary IS electable.

And, to be honest, the Democratic Party is doing a damn good job of damaging and destroying itself.

Do you believe your remarks actually help the situation? Because of Obamaniancs like you, it's pretty obvious to most of the rest of us that Barack Obama is a miserable failure at uniting people.

Is your post meant to UNITE us? Are those the pretty words that The Obamessiah taught you about practicing the "new politics" of "hope"?

No, a good majority of Clinton's supporters no longer feel beholden to the Democratic Party. The DNC doesn't even care to count all the votes that their own Democrats have cast. Stupid is as stupid does.

No, I will gleefully write in Hillary Clinton's name on my ballot in November. There is no way I can vote for a guy who has a thinner resume than I do.

I should "hope" instead that Obama's going to bring us together? LOL! Then he better start with some of his own supporters, because a few million of HRC's supporters are gearing up to send the DNC a loud and serious message to them this coming November.

Do the math.
Her 17 millions voters, who are currently being completely ignored by the DNC, are a lot bigger army than Ralph Nader had in 2000. About half of us have warned the Party via exit polls that we do not plan to vote for BHO in November. So if they hand-pick him as their candidate anyway, they have been warned -- they will have a huge problem on their hands.

Please don't blame Clinton supporters for us deserting the DNC. The words "Reagan DEMOCRATS" was around for 12 years before Bill Clinton reclaimed Reagan DEMOCRATS for DEMOCRATS.

And the DNC wonders why every Democratic candidate except Bill Clinton loses Presidential elections???? And he wins TWO terms????

Yeah, stupid.

As far as we're concerned, the DNC is once again treating is us like crap, even though more Democrats have voted for Hillary Clinton than for any other Democrat.

There is power in those numbers and we plan to use that power to our candidate's advantage in November, whether we get to put an "X" by her name, or we actually have to "spell it out" for the DNC.

Please note:
The Democratic Party is damaging and destroying itself.

I am appalled and saddened at the level of ignorance, incivility and outright bigotry which my fellow Americans seem to feel is acceptable in this forum.

It really is enough to make me wonder if democracy is a failed experiment. Perhaps the 18th century French and English philosophers who so greatly influenced our country's political structure grossly overestimated our ability to handle this responsibility.

If you folks disagree with each other, fine. Disagreement is NOT a license for boorishness.

Obama supporters...I'd just like to encourage you to not waste your time with the host of idiots (folks who do not support truth & change...something we haven't had in the White House for centuries)on this site. They need flames to blow up...don't give it to them. Allow a fool to remain one...Alone.

The pretender calling himself an educated Black man...you aren't fooling anyone...you are not who you say you are.

Realize that there are Republicans posting that are stiring up emotions for the divide. If you fall for it...be willing to live with the consequences of your choice.

Those of you who are racist...just be honest & admit it to yourself...then get over yourself and vote whichever way you want, but again...be willing to live w/the consequences. Your power is choice, but trust...you do not chose the outcome of that choice.

The person/people who are referring to these crazy lost souls as "Christians"...know your facts. Not everyone calling themselves Christians are...they are lost...and are not demonstrating Christian Values, therefore...they aren't. I'm sure all the True Christians would appreciate it as well.

Just an encouraging note...do with it what you will...stop wasting time in so much anger and nonsense...do what it is you are going to do concerning your vote...or not and be done. Argueing the point does nothing.

I looked at the video and I saw a man saying we aren't going to waste money on space shields and other forms of defense that don't work, and that we will reduce our nuclear armament worldwide, by working with other countries to get treaties to stop nuclear proliferation. We aren't as prepared as we need to be to fight the type of war that we are trying to fight, and all of the candidates are promising to improve the preparedness of our fighting forces. Adding a few thousand more nuclear warheads won't make us a bit safer, because once those things start flying, it's all over, and it doesn't matter if you have 100 or 1,000,000. The only thing that will make us safer in the world is diplomacy. We've already had the most advanced and expensive military forces in the world for many years, and look at how safe that's made us.

have you read this?..........this is what OBAMAS' church teaches to his daughters on

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the
goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people,
then he is a murderer and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is
to kill gods who do not belong to the black community. Black theology will
accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white
enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power which is the
power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at
their disposal. Unless God is participating in his holy activity, we must reject
his love."

Obama Supports "LIVE BIRTH ABORTION" MURDER !!!!

Barack Obama is on record as orchestrating the defeat of Illinois' Born Alive
Infants Protection Act. (Jill Stanek has documented this extensively.) While it
is obvious that everyone in the pro-life community finds this sufficiently
repulsive to vote for whoever (or whatever) is running against Obama, no
self-respecting pro-choice person is going to stand with Obama on this either.
Jerrold Nadler (D-NY, one of the most liberal members of Congress) said of the
Federal version of this legislation, "There is no such thing as a right to a
live birth abortion."

19 They are beastly by human fallen nature, forever. And they do refuse, unjustly, as forever true, to ever know me (god), as forever seen, as I am their true god, forever.
-
20 And, again, those beastly eternal, damminly true nations, in death forever. As found, unto satan, as being forever seen. If, they shall refuse, to know my son, who called christ, as their savior, forever,

21 And, who (christ Jesus) is with my heavenly true salvation, that I have created, from my (god) own, eternal, true Love. As being forever seen, in me, as forever true.
-
22 And that salvation, it is given of me, for all fallen true men, forever. And that salvation, that is called christ Jesus. It is given, that repentiful true men, may arise and cleanse themselves, by calling on the name of god,
-
23 As that name, is found. As my eternal, living forever, true son. And, who is called, "Jesus Christ". As being forever seen, of myself, as forever truly seen.
-
24 If, those non christian-unrepentiful true nations, who hate me, forever. Shall not repent in christ Jesus, forever.
-
25 Then, those beguiled in satan, true nations. They are called death. And those, beguiled, most true nations, they shall all be clean dissolved, by me forever, or unto they accept and repent, by receiving christ, forever,
-
26 As christ Jesus, being their personal, living forever, true savior. And who is from me (god), as being forever faithfully forever true, with my heavenly true salvation,
-
27 That is found, given of me (god), as eternally forever and ever true, of me, forever. And it is true, for all of given true eternity, forever.
-
28 Many antichrist, true nations, they are found unto me forever. In their own, personal, true choices, found in life and death.
-
29 And those choices, they are found, unto me, as being forever true, and it is true, by their own, eternal, living forever, true hands,
-
30 And it is true, that they, either chose christ Jesus, for the heavenly true salvation, that is given of me (god), as being forever seen.
-
31 Or they chose not to receive christ Jesus, forever. And, which is seen, in being forever certain, of themselves, unto me, forever.
-
32 And those nations, if they shall reject christ Jesus, forever. Then they shall die unto me forever,
-
33 Then, my, great, living eternal, given and being given, righteous, holy true judgments. They shall be found of me forever, as given by me forever,
-
34 As given of me as being forever seen in judgment forever. And it is a fiery given judgment of me (god), that is recompense, that is called granted true death, forever,
-
35 And that true death, it shall be found given of me, upon and unto those blasphemous eternal true nations, that are called satan forever,

-
36 And who are seen. As being, blasphemous eternal true nations of death, forever,
-
37 And, granted true death, it is found, given of me, as being forever seen. As, given by me forever, unto those satan nations. As they are found by me forever, in satan forever. And those nations, they are,
-
38 Found unto me, forever. As being forever certain, in satan forever. And they are found, unto me. As being forever true, as being found, as being truly beastly.
-
39 And, they are seen unto me forever. As being, a anti god, true image, unto me. As being faithfully forever seen, in themselves. As their desired true death, as found in satan, forever.
-
40 And, those non christian nations, as found in their death, as being forever seen true death. As found, as being. A fallen beastly stone image, of given, unrepentiful to receive god, beastly forever, true seen sin,
-
41 That seen sin, it is found unto me forever. In being unrepentifully forever true, in being against me. As a seen, true sinfulness, as being forever seen, and is seen, in them, that perish unto me in their satanism, forever.
-
42 All beastly, eternal, true nations. They are found, unto me forever true. As being anti god and as being anti christ forever true nations of the earth forever,
-
43 And those nations, they are found unto me, in satan. As being forever seen, in granted true death, as forever true.
-
44 And, they are seen, unto me. As being, found in their desired and most true death. As true death in satan, is found, working within themselves,
-
45 As being found, as truly being satanism, as being forever true of themselves forever, and, that work in satan that is found themselves, it is forever heard as being a blasphemous eternal image of death forever.
-
46 And, they, the damned in satan forever, they are most surely heard, as being eternal true sin, as being forever true, in all that I am not as god forever.
-
47 And, they shall die, unto me forever, as being forever true. In their desired, and most true death, as forever seen. That is working true death, that worketh against me forever.
-
48 And, they are truly, forever seen, in death forever. And they are seen unto me forever. As being, eternally forever true. As satan true sin, as being eternally forever true sin, forever.
-
49 And they are seen by me forever, as death, and they are in agreement with me forever, for that true death and they are in agreement with hell forever, for true death forever.
-
50 And, in true death, they shall never awake, after that great judgments of eternal just judgments, has occurred, forever. And they shall never awake, again, to live, afterwards (after that great Judgment called life), and forever.
-
51 In true death, the damned ones of this fallen, true earth, forever. They shall be casted by me, away from me, as being forever true,
-
52 And they shall be casted into eternal hell fire, that burneth, as being forever seen, as god in judgment, forever. For I am, god in judgment, as being forever true,
-
53 And I am true, unto all of the wicked ones of the earth forever, as I am forever seen and heard, in Jesus christ, as being forever seen.
-
54 And, in hell, is their seen eternal true reward. That is called life,
that they have made unto themselves. As being forever seen. As a seen image, called death forever.
-
55 And that image, as made by the damned ones, as being forever seen, by me forever true. It is called: "Wanted true death, for me (me is the word sinner), in satan forever,
-
56 As I (I is the sinner person) am a found sinner, unto god, as being forever true of myself (myself is the word sinner), forever".
-
57 And, unto all sinners, who are found unto me, as being forever true, as found in satan (all true sinners), forever. They shall, be forever seen.
-
58 And they shall be seen by me, as being faithfully forever seen, In that great eternal, and most mighty and true day. That is called god in judgment, unto satan, forever,
-
59 And, those sinners in satan forever. They all, shall receive their seen true reward. That is called, hell fire, forever. And that reward, it is found,
-
60 As given of me, unto them, in that great unending true day, that is most forever seen, as being seen, truly forever true. And that day, it is seen. As being most eternal,
-
61 For I am most eternal, saith thy god, as being eternally forever and ever true. For I am eternal, and I live forever. And the forever, it is me (god), forever.
-
62 In that day, that is glorious in me, forever. The damned, they shall pass back into the earth, in spiritual and physical, true death. As being forever seen, and, as being forever, eternally seen, in death, forever true.
-
63 Therefore, that passing into eternal forever death. It shall be written by me (god), as being: "They the damned, they are written back into the earth forever, as they truly do desire, Unrepentiful true death, forever".
-
64 That death, it is desired by the damned ones, forever. And, it is desired by the damned forever. As being, true death, forever. And that true death,
-
65 It is also seen, as being in satanism forever. And, it is seen, as being forever seen by me, forever. And it is found, in true death, unto me, forever .
-
66 That death, it is from being found guilty in unrepentiful true trespasses and unrepentiful true sins, that are unrepentifully forever seen,
-
67 As being against me (god), as being forever true. For those desired sins, are desired forever, by the damned, as being forever seen by me, forever.
-
68 And, they are found unto me forever. As being against receiving my eternal son, who is called "Christ As Savior, Forever".

-
69 Eternal death, as found in the damned forever, it seen. As being, unholy and unrighteous, spiritual true works, that is found in satan's true death, forever.
-
70 And that death, in the damned forever. It is found, in satan, as being, forever seen, as true death, as forever true. And it is desired, as being faithfully forever seen, by the lost unto me forever.
-
71 And that true death, in the damned, it is seen by me forever true. As being forever true, and, forever seen. And that death, it is seen, to be as satan is dead, forever.
-
72 And satanism, seen true works, as found in their desired true death, as being forever seen by me forever. It is called true death, and those works of satan and of the beast, whom (beast is the word man), is called man, as forever seen.
-
73 It is forever seen, and, is forever found, in satan, himself, as granted true death, from me, as being forever true death. And that true death, it is forever seen,
-
74 As seen in the damned, as being forever true death, forever. And the damned, and, with satan himself, together, and with satan's true kind, who (kind is all fallen angels) are called devils, they are all together, as seen and called: 'As being the beast", forever.
-
75 And they are found, unto me, as being forever certain. As being in satanism unto me, as being forever true of themselves, in the service of their faithful and true worship unto satan and to satan's kind, forever.
-
76 And they are forever seen. And they are seen in death, forever. And, all ungodly, antichrist, true nations. As they are found by me, as forever sure, as being seen by me, in their, seen sin, forever.
-
77 And they are found by me, forever. As being forever true, as being seen, in eternal true works, found in death forever. And, it is seen, as heavenly true death. As being forever certain and ever lasting, forever true.
-
78 And, they the damned and all fallen true nations. They are found unto me forever, as being in satan forever. And they, are also found unto me forever,
-
79 In unholy, and, in unrighteous physical true works, that are called, eternal true death, forever.
-
80 Those unrepentiful true nations in satan forever. They are even found unto me, as found. In their manifesting, of: "Unrepentiful, true sinful true works", That is called granted true death, forever.
-
81 And granted true death forever. It is being found forever granted, to them, who are found in satanism, as being eternally forever true of themselves,
-
82 As they are found unto me, in the service of satan. As being forever true of themselves forever.
-
83 And, if they be found unto me forever, in satanism, as being eternally forever true of themselves, in satan's true death, as being forever seen. Then they shall die unto all that is me in christ Jesus,
forever.
-
84 And, through the judgment of the nations, my eternal just judgments. They are given by me, through christ Jesus, forever true, unto all nations,
-
85 who are all non christian nations of the earth forever. That are seen unto me forever. As being, in satanism, as being forever true and ever lasting forever, of themselves, forever.
-
86 And I shall damn them all non christian nations forever, who are considered by me, as being, rejectful to me, true nations, forever. And, they shall die unto me, as being forever true of themselves, forever,
-
87 And, in this judgment of the nations, as being forever seen, upon the unrepentiful forever seen and true, non christian nations, forever, who are judged,
-
88 As they will never repent and receive christ Jesus my eternal true son, who is with life, that is called god, forever.
-
89 Then any of those nations, who are found unto me, as being forever certain, as that nation or nations that will never repent and receive christ forever.
-
90 Then that nation and or nations, they shall die unto me forever seen, as being forever true. As being forever eternally forever true. And, they are considered by me, as being forever certain,
-
91 As themselves, in being dead unto me, as forever true, and, as being forever seen, in death, forever true. And, they shall be seen, unto me, as being forever certain, and, true forever, in their sin, as being forever seen.
-
92 Therefore, end time judgment. It is given of me (god), and is found, of me (god), worthily, unto whom, end time judgments, are forever, righteously forever due, unto. And that judgment, it is forever truly seen.
-
93 And all end time judgments, are called life and death, forever. Therefore, let all nations, chose me, or they shall die unto me forever,
-
94 And that decision, it must be made quickly, saith thy eternal one, who is seen, and is called, the lord thy god, forever.
-
95 In these true days, forever. All ungodly nations, they shall be judged by me forever. And I will hold them accountable, for the deeds that they do perform,
-
96 As they do perform those deeds, against me, as being found by me, as being forever true of themselves. As they are found by me, in satanism forever.
-
97 And, those, ungodly true deeds, as found, as being true toward me. As they themselves, are seen by me forever true. In that they do perform those deeds, unto me, as being forever true of themselves in satan forever.
-
98 And those true deeds, they are seen. As being, in satan eternally forever true. And those ungodly blasphemous true deeds, they shall be recompense back,
-
99 Unto themselves, as measured unto themselves, in true punishment, from me, as being forever true, of me forever certain.
-
100 And, most certainly, measured true punishment, it is given to themselves, from me, as being forever seen true punishment. And that true punishment,
-
101 It is seen, as being forever true, from me, as being forever and eternally seen, true punishment. That is called god forever,
-
102 And that true punishment. That is called god forever. It is seen, and is called dead death, as being forever seen, and it is now, found on the earth, and in hell, forever.
-
103 And that eternal, most true punishment, it is from me forever true. And it is seen, as being true in me forever. And it is, given most surely, unto themselves, as being forever seen, true judgment, forever,
-
104 And that eternal ever lasting true punishment, it is called eternal dead death forever. And it is from me forever. And I, the lord of heaven and earth, forever,
-
105 I the lord, I do hold all nations, accountable, for their seen sins. That they, do against all, that is me, as I am creation, as forever seen.
-
106 And I, shall damn all non christian true nations of the earth forever, that will not receive Jesus christ, forever. And I will send a fire, from me, unto all of them, forever. And I will give death and dissolving and great punishment,
-
107 Unto those devil nations, as they are found unto me, as being in satanism forever, as they are seen by me, forever. In their seen true sins, that is called: "I (I is the sinner) desire death, as being forever true".
-
108 And, through the judgment of the nations. If these ungodly, true, non christian nations of the earth, forever, shall not repent and be baptized, in the son, who is called, Jesus christ,
-
109 Then they have most surely, bought upon themselves, and, upon all of their seen children. Death and great eternal, blasting, true destruction, from me, as being forever true of me forever,
-
110 And I (god) will destroy them with their seen sins, forever. And even those nations, that trust in their false idol gods, I (god) shall shame those nations, by making those nations, see,
-
111 That without christ, they shall die, forever. And that in trusting their idols, that they have bought great dissolving true judgment, from me (god), as being forever true, upon themselves, as being forever seen.
-
112 And, those satan true nations in satanism forever. They shall become greatly angered at their false idols, which hath not life forever. And they shall revolt against their false, seen and hidden idols of falsehood.
-
113 And those nations which shall not repent, by receiving Jesus christ, as christ Jesus, being their savior, as being forever seen. Then, they shall die unto me (god) forever,
-
114 And their seed shall die unto me (god) forever, unless they repent in christ Jesus, forever.
-
115 These false nations, they are not, true nations of life, that is called christ, unto me (god), forever. And without christ, in them. They shall die unto me forever.
-
116 And I will judge them forever, if they destroy not their seen idols, forever. And if they accept not Jesus christ, as this Jesus being their seen savior, from me, forever,
-
117 And without christ Jesus being their seen savior forever. Then they are seen unto me, as being faithfully forever seen, as being seen in satanism,
-
118 As being forever true, and they are forever found, unto me forever true. In their desired true death, forever certain.
-
119 And I, and I shall, trumpet, unto those ungodly, true nations, that are found unto satan himself, forever, and that are found by me, in their desired true death,
-
120 As being forever true of themselves. As they are found unto me, in their desired, true, iniquity. That is called sin, forever.
-
121 And those satan true nations, they must, therefore, all repent unto me, as being forever true of themselves, forever. Or they shall die unto me, as being forever true.
-
122 And, they must repent, quickly at this time of the fallen true earth, forever, and turn unto me forever. And I am seen, as: "The god of truth", forever.
-
123 And, as I am truth forever. Those nonchristian, true rebellious, seen nations, as they are found unto me and found by me, in their seen satanism, forever. They must turn unto me, as being forever true,
-
124 And, through, my eternal, and most true judgment, that is called: "The judgment of the nations". If they, shall not repent, unto me, as being forever seen,
-
125 As being quickly seen in repenting to me now, and, as being forever true. Then I shall cause war and or plagues and or famines,
-
126 To seek out those ungodly true nations. That are nations, that are found unto me, in death, as being forever true, of themselves forever.
-
127 And I will destroy them forever. And I shall even cause their pleasant true skies, to flee away from them, forever. And I shall stop the rain, unto them, forever,
-
128 And I shall stop the snow unto them, and I shall cause their crops to die, unto them. And all their animals, shall die, unto me, and I shall fight against those satanism true ones, as forever seen.
-
129 And I (god) shall call fire out of the sky to devour them, in all their seen labors. That is found in this satan true life, forever.
-
130 And, those ungodly, true, non christian nations. That are found unto satanism, forever. They shall cease to exist, in the earth, forever,
-
131 Unless they repent and receive Jesus christ, as christ Jesus, being their seen savior, forever.
-
132 Therefore, let your false gods, and let satan give you life forever. And in his (satan) hand of life, thou shalt die in his tainted true life, forever, for in sin, thou art already found in satan himself, forever.
-
133 And satan's true hand of life, it isn't christly true life, as found in me forever, but it is truly found unto me forever, as death forever,
-
134 And in satan, thou art already cursed with death and thou shalt die forever, unless thou renounce satan forever, by accepting Jesus christ,
-
135 As by, accepting Jesus christ, as thy seen, personal, living forever, true savior. As christ Jesus, is given of me forever, unto the earth, forever.
-
136 Therefore, let all nations, consider, through the judgment of the nations. That they need to consider, their ways of blasphemous eternal true death, that is forever and ever upon them, forever,
-
137 And that, they must repent, or I will destroy them, for desiring to be non christian nations of the earth, forever.
-
138 And, in me, is the life called man and woman, as forever seen--therefore--repent--or thou shalt die unto me forever, saith thy god, who is thy creator, as forever seen.

...I know Lies when I hear them!

"Hardly Know Ayers..."

Michelle Obama (1988 -1991) and Ayers' wife Dorn (1984 - 1988) worked in
the same law firm and Dorn introduced Michelle to Obama.

Ayers and Obama connection goes deeper than what Obama and the mainstream media
has been saying. Obama and Ayers have a long-standing working relationship. Not
only did Obama sit on the Woods Foundation (1999 - 2002) board but he worked for
Ayers;Obama was Director over at the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (1995 - 2003)
for eight years which Ayers was a co-founder. Larry Johnson, spells it all out
for us over on his website. A "must" read if you want to be well informed about
Senator Obama and his relatioship with Ayers. Mr. Murtagh also said that Obama
sat on an educational council ("Leadership Council" ) of the Chicago Public
Schools Education Fund (Ayers father and brother also were members of this
council). Another interesting website addresses this issue. Murtagh also said
that Michelle Obama (1988 -1991) and Ayers' wife Dorn (1984 - 1988) worked in
the same law firm and Dorn introduced Michelle to Obama. Rumor as it that it was
Dorn who set-up Obama's first fundrasier (1995) in Chicago (re:Obama in Ayers
house).

Hillary and Bill are proving once again how dishonest and corrupt they are--- "I got more votes..." if they had a clue how unethical and corrupt they sound, they would SHUT UP.

They have Ferraro out there again spewing her racist, ignorant epithets. Wolfson called his ex collegae "disgusting" or some such for wanting to work for Obama.

She and her fellow Femi - Nazis are snow showing their true colors as they ungraciously refuse to acknowledge defeat.

Victimhood--- blame the media, blame misogynistic pundits and voters. Yada, yada.

No Hillary and fellow Femi-Nazis, Hillary lost because she and her husband are dishonest, unethical narcissists, and exploited racism and used Rove/McCarthite tactics for their campaign which hurt the Country and the Democratic party, and womens and other civil rights causes.

Get over it and show some dignity and class. Hillary, Bill (quite the feminist) and the Femi-Nazis are hurting reproductive and other civil rights causes with these ridicules, polarizing victim hood garbage attacks. This is no time to splitter the progressive movement, which the Clintons continue to do. Stop being so friggin selfish.

Dear ProPysch, No offense taken. If all we can offer is "logical arguments", we will be out of business in November. It is the hearts and passions which need to be reached and your candidate is on a fast ride out-of-town. There are heart-breaks everywhere. Probably several million of them. Some will be so disappointed they will sit this one out. Some will be so angry (and for you, irrational)that they will vote for the other guy. A few will be smart like you and figure this all out.

But in the meantime, don't push the smart or fighting angles. You won, get on with the "mending fences" courtship. And get on with it quick. Your candidate has been rather "elitetist" of late. Do him a favor and join the rest of us down on earth. Before our passion, disappointment or anger drives us to do something irrational, like rethink who we should vote for.

Pro Psych, if you would actually listen to what we are saying, you would notice that our vote is not about the fact of Obama winning. LOL. That's retarded. I have voted Dem all my life, and just about every election my preferred candidate lost the primary, and I marched down and voted Dem. Not this time. It's more than that. I don't trust Obama...that's just one issue. But there are a lot more. There's no need to list them because all you will do is robotically say: "it doesnt make sense to vote for someone who does not share you candidate's positions...."

Pro Psych said: It just doesn't make sense to me to vote for someone whose values are incompatible with his/hers out of spite, because his/her favorite candidate didn't win the primarly. I do, however, firmly believe that intelligence is a good quality in both voters and presidents. There wasn't enough in either during the past two elections and look where we are now.

Debbie Schussel claims that Obama has on staff several nation of Islam members:
"Obama employed and continues to employ several Farrakhan acolytes in high
positions on his Illinois and U.S. Senate campaign and office staffs."

That raises the question of an actual 'relationship' with Farrakan...

Dan Balz,thank-you for your running commentary of the Presidential Primaries. The responses to your observations confirm the wisdom expressed in the book of Paul Tillich, Love,Power, and Justice; many express opinions wanting justice and power without love which results in tyranny, while others long for love and justice without power which results in a structure without a center of action (the Miss America for world peace). All this misses the point of Dan Balz's reflection. Will Obama's gathering in Des Moines be like W.'s showboating on the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, or will it be like the Israelites on the seventh day about to blow their trumpets (and the walls around Hillary will come tumbling down)? Be patient, wait and see.

The point is: we don't know who this guy really is. We don't know anything for
which is stands for, except liberal, unChristian values. It doesn't matter what
label he may claim to wear, Christian, Muslim, whatever he thinks will get him
the most votes: the point is, this Obama guy is scary, and we're doomed as a
nation, if we just stand by, like lambs to the slaughter, and allow liberal
media and blinded and fooled democrats to follow this charismatic man. Which, by
the way, I don't think he is. I think his true colors are starting to come
through: defensive; snobbish; stuck-up; and a chameleon. We need a leader who
knows who he is. We need someone confident in himself, and reliant upon God to
lead and humble him, to take upon leading this great nation...which won't be
great for very long, if we let this foolish, foolish man, obama hussein into
office. is it me, or are there others who get his name confused with the guy who
is hiding in the hills in Afghanistan....

Having seen tough battles of winning votes in each state,I do not know it is conincident or not, each time I opened the C-SPAN page and the news of 2008 campaign, the news of hillary is most of the times ahead of that of Obama, thus I do favor to open Hillary first and love to hear what she has to say before the votes and after the voting.

It would must be universal true that to do the same work, a woman has to sacrifice more than a man does, I do admire the strength, never give-up spirit each time shown on her face, and I hope Hillary would make a miracle and be a first woman president of USA, I know she has made some not-so-good comments on China, but her leadership and the way she keeps moving others are the qualities to do something big.

last I hope everyone who heard of the news of China having one of the biggest earthquake in its history paying your respect and mourning to those dead and praying for those still buried underground, though someone presumed dead, I do hope they will come to themsevles and be carried out for medical operations.

Hillary supporters who plan to sabotage Obama and vote for Hillary in 2012 ARE JUST PLAIN INSANE!!!!

1. Hillary's Presidential dreams are OVER. DONE. FINISHED. SHE WILL NOT BE PRESIDENT EVER. Democrats are never nice to their losers.

2.) The idea that you will vote for McCain-a man who agrees with Hillary 10% of the time, to give Hillary an off chance of going again in 2012 gives new meaning to the word CULT. The purpose of voting is not to give HILLARY the White House.

SHE LOST....GET OVER YOURSELVES

Hillary has baggage but it's kind of been there done that...the newest rave is sniper fire, ok.

Obama in just the democratic primary as seen....alice palmer, voting present, not wearing a flag pin, his wife just recently becoming a proud american, rev wright, bittergate, sexism, and rezko will be huge. What else are we waiting for? November better get here quick, might have more scandals to try and mitigate.

By the way Hillary will vote for Obama comment as being a proud American. Wake up, it is an American's right to vote. To vote for any candidate. Please refer above....obama picks days and crowds to wear that pin and Michelle just became proud of America didn't you watch the news.

Lastly, I AM A DEMOCRAT, who has a Professional Degree, and I like Hillary Clinton sorry Obama is not someone I think can handle the presidency. I just hope no Supreme Court justices die or retire in the next 4 years of McCain!

Flowerbunny,

Never called anyone dumb. However, some of the things people are saying on this website are pretty crazy.

It just doesn't make sense to me to vote for someone whose values are incompatible with his/hers out of spite, because his/her favorite candidate didn't win the primarly. I do, however, firmly believe that intelligence is a good quality in both voters and presidents. There wasn't enough in either during the past two elections and look where we are now.

Garrett - all the blogs are exactly like this. It's the craziest thing. Someone once called me a "turd that could not be flushed" for providing a calm, balanced analysis of some of the political issues in this campaign. Too bad the blogs aren't being used for true, informative political discourse. I would expect this if we were on the National Enquirer website, but this is going on even on the most respected sites. It's a shame.

Dear ProPsych, Not everybody votes with their intelligence. Many vote with their heart, passion and emotions. Right now you have a candidate that is talking about fighting and battling. I, for one, don't like that kind of language. As to qualifications, my spouse has more experience than he does. In the end, it won't be my head that tells me how to vote, but my heart. My hunch is you would like my heart to swith allegiance and vote for your guy. If that is the case, stop telling me I am a dummy for not being smart enough to "see the light" and start taking humble pills. Then learn a thing or two about swaying the public opinion. If you get good, you can come back and ask polititely for my vote . . . and if you don't, my disappointment(or anger) might just overwhelm my poor little brain and I might do a desparate symbolic act of voting for the "other guy". Save me from my passion and do your guy a favor. The campaign was close. Be a good winner and act like it!

By the way guys, I do not know why you are fighting about CNN or MSNBC reports. At this point they are blatantly misinforming, in favor of Barack. Every-time Hillary is up in the poll they go all out on her. It is also how I can tell she is up in the poll.

The difference between Hillary and the goofballs on this website is that Hillary will indeed support Obama and vote for him when the time comes. Sure she wants to be president, but she really loves this country and she will not let it fall into the hands of John McCain if there is something she can do about it. The Democratic nominating process is so broken that it counts 9000 votes from Wyoming, a state that has not gone Democratic since LBJ more than it counts 2.3 million voters in Florida and Michigan, two critical swing states. Clinton is ahead in the popular vote. Or do you not want Michigan and Florida in November?

Why did Obama get trounced throughout Appalachia? Because he is an effete intellectual who made stupid comments about people clinging to guns and religion and made no attempt to actually understand the hopes and concerns of a major Democratic voting block.

Outside of a few college towns and heavily black urban centers, Indiana, Michigan and even Minnesota went solidly and heavily against Obama. These are conservative family oriented voters who were insulted by his "clinging to religion" comment, double talk on Wright and most importantly, his decision to abandon his church.

Asians and Hispanics have never gone for Obama. They see a candidate beholden to a black affirmative action political machine. Asians in particular have born the brunt of affirmative action induced discrimination against non Federally blessed minorities. Key constituencies if you want to have a shot at New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada or Arizona.

Why is Obama getting only 30-40% of the women's vote? The way his machine pounced on Geraldine Ferraro was inexcusable. He calls a female reporter "sweetie" and talks about Michele as "his wife" like she is a chattel who does not deserve a name or the right to speak for herself. His bloggers unleash no end of misogynist drivel, and he does nothing to reign it in.

Obama's people say "Yes, but we can raise so much money that we will bury McCain". But McCain, Huckabee, Ron Paul and even Hillary Clinton have all shown that in this election year, being outspent does not mean defeat.

Bottom line, Obama has written off Appalachia (Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, western Virginia, southern Ohio and western Pennsylvania). Obama has written off the Midwestern Heartland (Indiana, Iowa, northern Ohio, Michigan outside of Detroit and Ann Arbor, Minnesota and Wisconsin). Running against war hero McCain, he does not have a chance in military dominated Florida, North Carolina, and eastern Virginia. Bottom line is that Obama has written off all of the key swing states that a Democrat needs to win in the general election, and his campaign has exploited a deeply sexist tact that has alienated the largest constituency in the Democratic Party.

Finally, there is the issue of downside risk. Is there dirt in the stinking cesspool of Chicago politics that is going coming flinging out in October to tar the "golden child" as just another corrupt politician from a corrupt system? Real estate deals worth billions were done without transparent competitive bids. Obama's buddy, Rezko, has been indicted and is being tried. The US Attorney has already convicted a governor and is undoubtedly developing cases against numerous other Illinois pols. As the Swift Boaters proved in 2004, the dirt does not even have to be true dirt to sink a candidate if it is thrown skillfully and with the right timing. Can Obama walk away from Rezko the way McCain walked away from Keating? Keating was more than 20 years ago and McCain took years trying to be "Mr. Clean" before people really started to believe him. Obama is only going to have a few days or weeks.

Hey, not only am I not going to vote for Obama, I'm going to contribute to, work for and vote for McCain.

He is the second most qualified person running.

It is not a personality/beauty contest.

We are the Board of Directors, evaluating candidates' credentials for an executive management position.

Placing an individual with as little real experience as Obama has, is considered a highly risky decision in the "real" world, where directors have an obligation to the stakeholders.

We must take our duty seriously and place qualified people in the position.

Obama is not qualified.

Obama is not electable.

Clinton's staying in because it's inevitable that Obama will do something else to self-immolate (a la Rev. Wright).

Obama supporters will never win families like mine over with all the fighting talk and in-your-face challenges. Obama is impatient. He thinks democracy follows his schedule--just another sign of inexperience. Will he rush diplomacy? Negotiations with Congress? He is a neophyte---The primary is not over--Clinton could easily win the popular vote without FL or MI---and disenfranchising FL and MI is the death knoll of the Democrats' candidate this year.

Hope and Change have been the goal of progressives since at least McGovern---and when nominated they all lost by huge margins.

Been there--done that---will probably be doing it again---thank you media--- Misogyny lives large...

White America found OJ Simpson guilty of murdering of two young white people. Of course, Black America do not see it that way regardless of evidence. In fact, if OJ Simpson is running for the President, he may still get the majority black votes.

Obama may get 100% of black votes with 100% turnout in the general election, but he will never get majority of white votes (male or female).

Democracts have a way of losing general election every four years. This election year no different. McCain is very lucky man.

Rumor as it that it was
Dorn who set-up Obama's first fundrasier (1995) in Chicago (re:Obama in Ayers house)

Also, why question me for saying I am black. Even the Great "Post-Racial" Obama has run on the "historic" nature of his campaign and on being a racial victim to the Clintons.

I am certainly not a patriot by any traditional measure. I care about all people on the earth. The pin thing is just as stupid as the Bosnia thing.

I am a registered Democrat - for 25 years now. I have only voted for Democrats. The Democrats and I have shared values. I have compromised my values to support the Democrats (like I supported Kerry - although I hated the war). Not this time. The party crossed the line. This is not selfish. It is courageous. Be a wimp if you like. My ancestors survived slavery. You can survive 4 years of McCain.

-You call yourself Democrats and fighters for the rights of all Americans yet it turns out the only cause you're are truly committed to is preservation of your ego.

West Virginia Congressman Rahall lost his bid for re election because he endorsed Obama. That is more chilling. Senator Bird endorsed Obama is not a big deal because this will be his last term in office. Rahall no longer has a bright future and other superdelegates are waiting and watching.

"Also, do you think OJ Simpson is guilty or not guilty?" - apropos of what??

But, for the record, guilty AND framed by the police (bloody glove that didn't fit after they "lost" a vial of his blood - sloppy police frame-up by a racist cop). The LAPD forgot that OJ had a lot of money so could actually afford competent lawyers to defeat their piece of cr@p case. Their guilty fingerprints were all over the case and obliterated whatever real evidence they might have collected to convict him.

Now, what does this have to do with the Democratic Presidential nomination race?

Hey, James, are you from California, or Mississippi? This, along with the KKK, is what the Southern states used to circumvent the 15th Amendment. Thankfully, the Voting Rights Act eliminates stuff like that. LBJ signed that into law, you know. Ooooops, I just made a major racist blunder. But since you advocated intelligence tests, I think we are about even.

QUERY: Why do Obama supporters constantly rail against "uneducated" voters, when blacks have among the lowest educational attainment levels of any demographic in the country? As a black man, I am offended by this, because this type of bigotry has been used for centuries to stigmatize black people. I guess my belief that Obama's supporters are self-whiteous is true.

Dear Waldo, You have it half right. We own the House and the Senate. We are making progress. These bodies represent a broad swath of Democrat Americans. Let us not go messing this up with Dr. Wackadoodle's narrow vision for America. I for one, am proud of being American, my dad's a union man, I protect the environment, I don't like more taxes, and I have friends serving. But below are a few things we want you to consider as you leave:

- You call yourselves Christians yet 2000+ years after his death you spew hatred about another human because he's might not be Christian enough. Please don't insult Jesus with your association, you are so unworthy.

- You call yourselves Patriots but even in the most crucial election for the country in a half century you simply only care that the person look likes you and if they where a flag pin. Please collect your flag pins at the door - but don't insult all of those that have died for this nation with your feeble minded definition of patriotism.

-You call yourself Democrats and fighters for the rights of all Americans yet it turns out the only cause you're are truly committed to is preservation of your ego.

Bottom line you are just like the coldhearted lying republicans that we so desperately need to remove from the White House.

I'm not sure where you think the Clinton political machine fits into your "ideas" about the democratic party, but it would benefit you to tone down your language and statements if you want anyone to pay attention to them.
Obama did not steal the election, as you well know, and he will not lose in November; that is, he will not lose if Hillary supporters like you will gracefully accept the democratic nominating process and recognize that indeed, he did win.

Sometimes our own personal spite must be put aside in order to allow the greater good space to slide through.

take a deep breath, Aussie2020. It's going to be okay. Hillary didn't win because the American people didn't want her to. your views are not everyones (obviously. check the delegate count).

LOL. Great line. Save it for someone who cares. I am not stuck on Bushes at all. I never voted for them, or any Repub. for that matter. I voted for Bill Clinton once, but not the next time; I didn't like some things about his first term, so I didnt vote in the national election in 1996, but I did help with local and state races.

Hillary inspires me, and she has my vote. Unlike you, I do not equate her and Bill. And I guess you don't believe that the Violence Against Women's Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, defending affirmative action, appointing 2 liberals to the Supreme Court (first Dem nominees since LBJ), having the highest black increase in income, the lowest black unemployment rate, the largest amount of black, latino, asian, and women federal judges appointed, a budget surplus, and prosperous economy mean anything. That's the problems with Obama supporters - they conflate the past as some ugly blob, when it is far more complicated than that. I guess I would expect that from the very young people who just don't know any better, but not from a self-declared SENIOR. SHAME ON YOU!

"Too bad your mind is stuck, in the same mode of BUSH/CLINTON/BUSH/McBUSH world of missed opportunities. Myself, a disgruntled Republican, might support Obama over the Iraq War (Obama always opposed it. Hilary voted for it and never spoke against it until she ran from Prez). The thought of Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton makes me cringe too.

Regardless, it will be Obama-McCain in November in spite of the idiotic delusions of the supporters of a certain candidate!

As a staunch Hillary supporter, we should finish what we started, but realize that the HOWARD DEAN (like Hitler) has SEIZED Control of the Democratic Party along with the DNC Insiders and Super Delegates. Our only chance is after Obama gets his butt kicked by McCain in November, is for Hillary and her supporters to then PURGE the Democratic party of Howard Dean, Obama, the DNC Insiders and the Super Delegates. But maybe this is JUST WHAT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY NEEDS!! Yes a humiliating DEFEAT, which will get the Democrats to realize that the DNC Insiders, Caucuses (which gave the nomination to Obama, and NOT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. They also gave the nomination to Kerry and what did we get, another humiliating defeat), Obama, Howard Dearn, John Edwards, Kerry, Kennedy, ... all NEED TO GO! This will be the Change which the American People will want. So not only vote McCain as President, but overwhelming VOTE OUT OF OFFICE the DNC Insiders, Obama, and all of the nepotistic DNC Insiders who have stolen the Democratic Party from the American People and the Nomination from Hillary. McCain is a much better leader than Obma and he is a HIGHLY DECORATED Vietnam War Veteran. There is no BETTER AMERICAN!! Yes McCain is not a Republican first, he is an AMERICAN FIRST like Hillary. So vote for An American McCain while the Democratic Party is in transition, purging the Democratic Party of the DNC Insiders, Super Delegates, Kerry, Edwards, Obama, .... WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE for 3 straight HUMILIATING LOSSES (including the one McCain will have over Obama). Enough is enough. Get rid of Iowa Caucus and similar caucuses and have a nominating process which reflects the Presidential Election in November. If the Democratic Party had such a nominating Process, there IS NO DOUBT that Hillary R. Clinton would not only get the Democratic Party Nomination (which has been stolen not only from her, but MORE IMPORTANTLY the American People who have NOT HAD THEIR VOICES HEARD or Votes Count).

McCain in 2009 and Hillary in 2013 (with a Purging of the DNC Insiders, Iowa Caucuses,...). The Democratic Party needs real change and after Obama's, Howard Dean's, the DNC Insiders', John Edwards' and the Super Delegates' humiliating defeat by McCain, the AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL GIVE HILLARY the MANDATE SHE NEEDS To to Do a MAJOR HOUSE CLEANING. I think a lot of DNC Insiders will learn what it is like to be a Middle or Lower Class WORKING or even UNEMPLOYED American, with NO Health Insurance, No Pension and absolutely NO SAFETY NET!!

Hillary R. Clinton in 2013 and McCain in 2009. It is what American and the Democratic Party needs!!

It used to be, when we all started, when Barack finally hit the scene last summer the only thing we couldn't mention were his ears. He went out there, believe he told Maureen Dowd he's very sensitive about his ears. Didn't she said, "We're trying to toughen you up." Hasn't worked. Since then, we not only can't mention his ears, now we cannot talk about his mother, nor his father -- I mean, he can. Now we can't talk about his wife. Now we can't talk about his preacher. Now we can't talk about his voting record. And we dare not talk about his religion. And we don't use the appeasement word, can't say appeasement now. We can't talk about color. We can't talk about race. We can't talk about lack of color. We can't talk about his friends, mobsters and bombers, terrorists. We can't talk about schooling. Can't talk about his name. Obama was up on Clinton before she got her Limo turned around and her party platters ordered. Nobody in the Clinton camp took this seriously and they thought all they had to do was have a big coronation party. They spent $95,000 on party platters in Iowa from a single grocery chain, money for Limos, champagne catered meals. Her strategists were given huge salaries. If this were a government, one would think Brownie was running it.

Forgot to mention the Clinton pardons on the way out the door in January 2001:

Among the 140 on the list were:

ALMON GLENN BRASWELL was pardoned of his mail fraud and perjury convictions, even while a federal investigation was underway regarding additional money laundering and tax evasion charges. Braswell and Carlos Vignali each paid approximately $200,000 to Hillary Clinton's brother, Hugh Rodham, to represent their respective cases for clemency. Hugh Rodham returned the payments after they were disclosed to the public. Braswell would later invoke the Fifth Amendment at a Senate Committee hearing in 2001, when questioned about allegations of his having systematically defrauded senior citizens of millions of dollars.

LINDA SUE EVANS and SUSAN ROSENBERG were pardoned. Weather Underground members, they were imprisoned on weapons and explosives charges.

MARC RICH, a fugitive, was pardoned of tax evasion, after clemency pleas from Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, among many other international luminaries. He was required to pay a $100 million dollar fine and waive any use of the pardon as a defense against any future civil charges that were filed against him in the same case. Critics complained that Denise Rich, his former wife, had made substantial donations to the Clinton library and to Mrs. Clinton's senate campaign. Emails uncovered during the course of the investigation revealed that her final donation was provided a year before Scooter Libby requested that she approach Clinton for a pardon. According to Paul Volcker's independent investigation of Iraqi Oil-for-Food kickback schemes, Marc Rich was a middleman for several suspect Iraqi oil deals involving over 4 million barrels of oil.

SUSAN MCDOUGAL, who had already completed her sentence, was pardoned for her role in the Whitewater scandal; McDougal had served 18 months on contempt charges for refusing to testify about Clinton's role.

ROGER CLINTON, the president's half-brother, on drug charges after having served the entire sentence more than a decade before. Roger Clinton would be charged with drunk driving and disorderly conduct in an unrelated incident within a year of the pardon. He was also briefly alleged to have been utilized in lobbying for the Braswell pardon, among others. However, no wrongdoing was uncovered.

Let's suppose just for a minute that Sen. Obama will gain the required number of delegates (as determined on May 31 by the Rules Committee) before the convention and become the presumptive Democratic Party nominee.

I predict that Sen. Clinton will want to unite the Democratic Party against John McCaine, and she will endorse - and campaign for - Sen. Obama for president. If Sen. Clinton can get her supporters to vote in November for Sen. Obama for president, that will be a particularly good indication of her leadership abilities, and she will deserve credit for her efforts.

But if Sen. Clinton's own supporters don't trust her endorsement of Sen. Obama for president, it won't say much for her as a leader.

Hillary should be in Michigan and Florida where were overwhelming Victories showed the WHOLE World, but for Howard Dean, Obama, the DNC Insiders and the Super Delegates that Hillary R. Clinton is the American People's Choice. Just like the last election the DNC Insiders and Super Delegates put forth a candidate who could not win: Kerry. He embarrassed not only himself, that is, Kerry, but all democrats. It will be the same with Obama. Obama ran and hid from Hillary and the People in Michigan and Florida, but come November and followup he will have nowhere to hide, and he will be EXPOSED for what he is, a very inexperienced Candidate who is all talk, but has not walked the walk, like both Hillary and McCain.
But there is an old saying, you cannot teach old dogs (the OLD DNC INSIDERS and Super Delegates) new tricks But what is amazing, is the the OLD BOYS NETWORK, OLD DNC INSIDERS and OLD Super Delegates are the one backing Obama!! And Obama says he represents Change. Ya right. He has hoodwinked a lot of his own and a lot of you young and inexperienced voters, but come November. he will lose in a Landslide, McCain will be the next President, and Obama, Howard Dean, John Edwards, Kerry, Kennedy, ..., the DNC Insiders and the Super Delegates will all wonder what they did wrong. And then Hillary and the whole WORLD will tell them: If you had CLEANED OUT YOUR EARS and LISTENED to People and COUNTED the VOTES in Michigan, Florida, New York, California, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, New Hampshire, West Virginia, Kentucky, ...
See you in 4 years, when Maybe, just Maybe, the DNC Insiders and Super Delegates will get a clue.
Until then we will have ANOTHER Republican President of the USA. Obama is young child and inexperienced, no war experience, ..., in comparison with McCain. And if the Democrats think because we do not like Bush policies, we will hand our the Keys to our Great Land to and Inexperienced, anti-Woman (Hillary), anti-American Middle and Lower working class Americans they are BRAIN DEAD.

McCain for the USA Presidency in 2009 and Hillary in 2013. Obama is already talking about a two term Presidency. I am sorry to say, HE IS DISGRACE to America and the Democratic Party.

Hillary will have to clean up the mess he has made (is making along with Howard Dean, John Edwards, the DNC Insiders and the Super Delegates). It will be classic and a have to see show come November when McCain has his victory SPEECH and Obama, surrounded by Howard Dean, John Edwards, the DNC Insiders and Super Delegates TRY TO BLAME OBAMA butt kicking by McCain on Hillary. Ya right.
Disenfranchising millions of voters in Michigan and Florida, totally ignoring West Virgina, Kentucky, .. and DISRESPECTING the American Middle and Lower Working Class, their religious beliefs and their values and morals. You are all, I am sorry to say, Bloody Idiots. The Republicans got you hands down. The only one who has a clue, Hillary R. Clinton, could not be your candidate BECAUSE i) she is woman; ii) she cares more about the American People than she does not Democratic party (you want someone who puts the Democratic Party and its and the DNC Insiders interests first and foremost; and finally iii) SHE RESPECT THE AMERICAN People, the American Way of Life, and the Hard Working Middle and Lower Class Americans who have made this country which it is!!

Hillary R. Clinton for President in 2013, McCain for President in 2009. It is inevitable by the CHOICES made by Howard Dean (to screw the Millions of voters in Michigan and Florida, to ignore voters in West Virgina, Kentucky, ... and their biggest ERROR to DISRESPECT Hard working Middle and Lower call American, their family and religions values, and way of life). This is also shown by the Democrats in Texas and their social workers KIDNAPPING over 450 Children from their Mums and Dads in Texas. They THINK that they know what is BEST not only for us, but also our CHILDREN and ARE NOW even taking them away from US.

So McCain in 2009 and Hillary in 2013!!

Julia: Obama supporters need to accept the inevitability of Obama's November defeat. He simply does not have the support of enough of Clinton's voters to win.

For those who missed this article in today's Washington Post about Hillary's radical connections, I'm printing it below.
------------------------------------------
Clinton Quiet About Own Radical Ties
Faulting of Obama Called Hypocritical

By James V. Grimaldi
Washington Post Staff Writer
Monday, May 19, 2008; A04

When Hillary Rodham Clinton questioned rival Barack Obama's ties to 1960s radicals, her comments baffled two retired Bay Area lawyers who knew Clinton in the summer of 1971 when she worked as an intern at a left-wing law firm in Oakland, Calif., that defended communists and Black Panthers.

"She's a hypocrite," Doris B. Walker, 89, who was a member of the American Communist Party, said in an interview last week. "She had to know who we were and what kinds of cases we were handling. We had a very left-wing reputation, including civil rights, constitutional law, racist problems."

Malcolm Burnstein, 74, a partner at the firm who worked closely with Clinton during her internship, said he was traveling in Pennsylvania in April when Clinton attacked Obama for his past interactions with William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, members of Students for a Democratic Society who went on to found the bomb-making Weather Underground.

"Given her background, it was quite hypocritical," Burnstein said. "I almost called the Philadelphia Inquirer. I saw what she and her campaign were saying about Ayers and I thought, 'Well, if you're going to talk about that totally bit of irrelevant nonsense, I'll talk about your career with us.' "

In her campaign for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, Clinton has said little about her experiences in the tumultuous late 1960s and early 1970s, including her involvement with student protests and her brief internship at the law firm, Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein. She has said she worked on a child custody case, although former partners recall her likely involvement in conscientious objector cases and a legal challenge to a university loyalty oath.

But her decision to target Obama's radical connections has spurred criticism from some former protest movement leaders who say she has opened her own associations to scrutiny.

"The very things she's accusing Barack of could be said of her with much greater evidence," said Tom Hayden, a leading anti-Vietnam War activist, author and self-described friend of the Clintons.

Robert Reich, who went to Yale Law School with Hillary Rodham and Bill Clinton and later served in the Clinton administration, called Hillary Clinton's attack on Obama "absurd," adding: "That carries guilt by association to a new level of absurdity. Where does guilt by association stop? I mean, she was a partner of Jim McDougal in the 1980s, for crying out loud." Reich is now an Obama supporter.

In response to the assertion that Clinton is a hypocrite for calling out Obama's ties to Ayers, campaign spokesman Philippe Reines said: "The comparison is patently absurd." The campaign played down her friendship with a noted student protest leader and defended her work with the Oakland firm. "At the time she worked there, the firm was primarily at the forefront of civil rights advocacy cases, which was a good fit with Senator Clinton's long-standing interest in civil rights and constitutional law," Reines said.

Clinton's associations date to her years as a student leader at Wellesley from 1965 to 1969. It was the height of student opposition to the Vietnam War, and Carl Oglesby, the president of Students for a Democratic Society, came to campus to speak.

"I gave a talk at Wellesley, where she was a student," Oglesby said in a telephone interview from Amherst, Mass., where he is recovering from a stroke. "I can't say that I was a close friend of hers. It was more of a passing acquaintance. I liked her. I think of her as a good guy. I think she has a good heart and a solid mind. And I support her in the current primary."

Oglesby had been close to Ayers and Dohrn, but the couple split with the more moderate SDS factions to form the Weather Underground, which engaged in a bombing campaign to try to stop the Vietnam War. The FBI monitored Oglesby throughout the period.

The Clinton campaign suggested last week that she did not meet Oglesby until the 1990s, long after his activist years. But in recent interviews, Oglesby has made clear that she stood out in his memory as he traveled across the country speaking at rallies.

In 1994, Clinton told Newsweek that Oglesby's writings in the 1960s helped persuade her to oppose the Vietnam War and to become a Democrat. She visited Oglesby in 1994 in Massachusetts, a meeting that was omitted from the First Lady's official schedule. Oglesby told the Boston Globe at the time, "We mostly discussed the '60s. I may have been a little gushy in my praise of the administration, but she was extremely impressive."

Oglesby now talks warmly about Clinton. In an interview with Reason magazine, he called their association "a friendship, a comradeship, within the context of the movement. She and I, for a while, were warm with each other. She and I were semi-close."

But Oglesby said he has not contacted Clinton because he is afraid that he could harm her candidacy.

"A friend of mine mentioned me to her not long ago, and according to him she got a case of the shakes. I think it was because she could imagine if any of her considerable enemies on the right wanted to do her in, they would be happy to discover a relationship between her and me," he told the magazine.

Clinton interned at Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein while attending Yale Law School. The firm defended the Black Panthers, including Angela Davis, and Clinton had been editor of the Yale Review of Law and Social Action, which included articles about Black Panther leader Bobby Seale's murder trial in New Haven, Conn.

Author Gail Sheehy wrote about the internship in her book "Hillary's Choice." Sheehy, who also wrote a 1971 book about the Black Panthers, interviewed firm partner Robert Treuhaft, who described Hillary Rodham attending a New Haven fundraiser for Seale's defense that he threw with his wife, author Jessica Mitford. Treuhaft -- who, with his wife, left the Communist Party in 1958 -- died in 2001.

Clinton kept up correspondence with the British-born Mitford through the early 1990s. "Top students like Hillary were much sought after by huge prestigious Wall Street-type law firms -- some, like Hillary, were far more interested in left-wing firms," Mitford wrote to a friend in 1992.

In her autobiography, "Living History," Clinton details little of the firm's background. She wrote that she "spent most of my time working for Mal Burnstein researching, writing legal motions and briefs for a child custody case."

But members of the firm have different recollections. Burnstein recalled her working on a case involving Stanford University students who refused to sign an oath attesting that they had never been communists.

Walker said that Clinton probably worked on cases to help young men avoid the draft. "We did a whole lot of conscientious-objector work," she said.

Hayden, one of the Chicago Seven who were acquitted of inciting riots at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, said he is disappointed that Clinton has tried to taint Obama with guilt by association.

"Once you introduce the concept of guilt by association, everyone is in trouble because there is no end to it," he said. "The goal is to render Barack so unelectable that the party has to turn to her. Because the goal is so narrow and obsessive, she's not aware that she's also going to be collateral damage."

What has really struck me throughout this entire campaign is how totally unsupportive and aggressive Obama supporters are. I would like to believe Obama's message, but when I read what his followers write, I am appalled. They are so nasty. I read all these evil things aimed at Hillary and then I remember, these are young folks, who do not realize that threatening and insulting do not move old folks. I am not moved by insults and innuendos. If I were, I would have voted for Bush and supported him when 91% of Americans did. Hillary shows much more character by not flinching in the face of all this "nah, nah, nah, nah, nah" behavior. It is just so immature and says a lot more about the sender than it does about Hillary. Issues. That is what moves me and Hillary knows her stuff. And she votes her stuff.

In a sense, it does my heart good to see so many Republicans wailing about how Obama is a muslim, Iranian, hates America, is BFF with Ayers, loves terrorists, blah blah.

As the special elections have shown, nobody wants to vote for Republicans this year. They ruin the economy, get us involved in unnecessary wars, don't support giving troops a GI bill, out CIA agents when they feel like it, subvert the Constitution when it suits them, etc. And they can usually get away with it by distracting Americans on gays, abortion, guns, or whatever.

But not this year. People are seeing through the lies. People are hearing what an intelligent and thoughtful president would sound like. Democrats have lined up more voters in the primaries than Republicans could dream of. They are raising more money than Republicans can. Democrats are the party of ideas and leadership. Get used to it!:)

Don't you guys get it?
Senator Clinton may well have been planning to get out of the race last week, what with the media blackout and the snubbing by the Obama camp.
However, millions of her supporters indicated to her, the DNC, the media and anyone else who would listen that they WOULD NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA under any circumstances.
If you pay attention to the tone of the media reporting you'd realize that the concerned parties heard HRC's supporters loud and clear and are now trying to figure out what to do about it.
Doesn't matter though.
The party's split and millions of people won't vote for the "presumptive nominee."
Nothing to do now but sit back and see if they can fix it.
I doubt it, though.

Hillary has a perfect right to say that the popular vote is important. The popular vote comes predominantly from primaries, not caucuses.

I think everyone in this country should start investigating caucuses, exactly how they are run in each caucus state. The press is silent on the subject of caucuses, and that is not a good thing.

I hope the state of Washington is trying to figure out what went wrong with their state. I have written Governor Christine Gregoire and the DNC to point out the discrepancies in Washington but have heard nothing in response. All of the pledged delegates were based on the caucus vote.

To see what I am saying, look at the Map Room on the site election.msn.com and compare the caucus result to the primary result for the state of Washington. Why would all of those people in Washington vote in the primary if they knew that their vote was not going to count towards winning delegates for their candidate? The caucus came first: Obama 68% and Hillary 31%. Then, the primary was next: Obama 51% and Hillary 46%. What is the explanation for such a big difference? What were the directions to the voters? My guess is that there was voter confusion, either intentional or unintentional.

The FairVote organization opposes caucuses for good reasons. Caucuses should be declared illegal. And, finally, it is perfectly legimate to consider the will of the people in a democracy.

The super delegates should be ashamed of themselves.

Michelle and Barack Obama have been friends and associates with William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn for 20 years now.

Ayers was a founder of the Weather Underground - that bombed the very building a lot of the super delegates work in - the U. S. Capitol. They also bombed the Pentagon and 8 other buildings.

Ayers girlfriend at the time along with others blew herself up while making bombs to use at Fort Dix.

And Barack and Michelle are social friends and neighbors. Barack says he was only 8 years old then and isn't responsible for what Ayers did then. No, but he knew Ayers said on 9/11 that he wishes they had done more.

Ayers was NOT aquitted. The charges were dropped because of improper surveillance tactics, not because they were innocent of wrongdoing. They were trying to overthrow our U.S. Government.

Along with many other associates of Michelle and Barack Obama, they were anti-American.

They terrorized government agencies for years threatening to bomb them and succeeded in doing so. He wrote about and proudly took credit for the bombings in his book and in interviews.

1991 "Guilty as hell. Free as a bird. America is a great country," Ayers said when interviewed by David Horowitz

1995 Obama campaign event at Ayers/Dohrn house

1995 - 2003 Obama serves as Chairman of Bill Ayers' Chicago Annenberg Challenge

1997 Ayers and Obama serve on a University of Chicago panel entitled, "Should a child ever be called a 'super predator?"

1999-2002 Obama and Ayers serve as paid directors on Woods Fund Board

4/2/2001 Obama accepts campaign contribution from Ayers and never returned the money

9/10/2001 Ayers releases "Fugitive Days"

9/11/2001 "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough." So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? "I don't want to discount the possibility," he said. Ayers quoted in NYT article

You should for, or against, whomever you desire. You should also work for, and contribute to, that candidate. And if it is John McCain, so be it. But there is no point in wearing us out with the same posts -- Obama's a cokehead, he's a Muslim, he's a closet racist, his wife's ugly, yadda yadda yadda -- that you've posted for months and which utterly failed in helping Clinton gaining the nomination. Her reputation is worse now than it has ever been in her life, and superdelegates are fleeing her to support Obama, because she has allowed herself to become tied to the hatred in her supporters, of which her hardworking white people crack -- the final nail in her coffin -- is an example. I'm pretty sure the coalition she has now is not the coalition she envisioned or desired when she entered the race.

If the Democrats make Obama the nominee, it's over. He will be another Dukakis, Hart, and Kerry. He can't take the heat. Unfortunately, the slow realization of this is the fallout from the voters and Democrats allowing him his free pass instead of making him work for it and getting to know him. I heard Michelle say that they were into Chicago politics so they can handle all the bad stuff, because Chicago politics is dirty...what a joke--they're already complaining, and The Republicans haven't even started yet. Now that Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Bill Richardson, and Robert Byrd have voted against their constituents wishes, Obama is out beating the drums for super delegates to vote as their constituents did.

I think that won't sell anymore. It is time for Hillary supporters to support her and the American people.

This nomination process reminds me of the Republicans when Reagan was in the middle of things. When people would tell me why they were voting Republican, it was all about wanting to have the aura of wealth and power - it wasn't about the American people.

Time for the super delegates to do the right thing. Obama is one scary dude with his background. Michelle Obama is as bad or worse. She is even more scary. Right now, Obama is pandering, pandering, pandering with his "I'm for the little guy" rhetoric and his flag pin. I want to snatch that pin off of him.

He will stop at nothing to get elected, he said today he has never been a muslim - his teacher at his prep school says otherwise that Obama was an avowed muslim when he attended that school in Hawaii.

Hillary supporters need to accept the inevitability of Barack's nomination. She simply does not have the delegates to win.

It's simple math. Barack will be the only realistic progressive choice in November. Throwing that away on a protest vote would be highly foolish.

Vote for change or vote for oblivion. Your decision.

Clearly, after her hardworking white people crack, people talked to her. Some blacks, like Rangel, have her ear and let her know in no uncertain terms she needed to cut out the racemongering. She's got nothing if she can't play race (gender sympathy isn't working) so she might as well make nice and try to hold out hope of a VP slot.

Vote for Hillary if she is the nominee.

Vote for Hillary if she is not the nominee, by way of a write-in vote.

Barack Obama has given people "the finger" too many times. He is angry, immature, and inexperienced.

Barack Obama has had a life-time of associating with terrorists and anti-Americans and a communist who took him to Marxist meetings.

We cannot afford to take a chance on someone who has had so many unscrupulous friendships and relationships.

His mother was a radical Anti-American. Barack Obama, Jr., had a father that was an Arab who was a radical terrorist. He belonged to the cruel group called The Kenyatta. They pillaged, burned, raped and murdered for their cause.

Obama listened to those anti-American sentiments and terrorist rantings from Day One, when he was born, when he was a baby, a toddler, in kindergarten, elementary school.

The Rev. Wright hate America rhetoric sounded right to him.

Oregon, for the grace of God, please get out, be pro-active, vote for Hillary. You can make THE difference tomorrow. gw.

Why is it that in the states that Clinton overwhelmingly won the elected officials supported Obama? I think it is just fair that the supedelegates should vote for whom they like and not for the leading delegate. The Obamates should realize that in America people vote out of personal conviction and not because they threatened.
The young and the well off are voting for Obama, that's true. They are out of touch of what's happening around the world and even in their own country. As they say the "young are reckless" and the the "rich be dammed". Both are blinded by their feeling of superiority. What will be the cost?

Byrd is no "major blow" for Sen. Clinton. Byrd did Sen. Clinton a favor. In endorsing Obama in the face of Sen. Clinton's blowout win, Byrd is proclaiming Obama's "majority" of delegates counts for NOTHING with superdelegates.

Byrd's comments about Obama are all fabricated fluff. Byrd knows nothing about Obama because Obama is inexperienced, unqualified, and has no track record of any significant accomplishments. In his drive to swipe the Democratic nomintion, Obama has shown he is ruthless and driven by raw ambition.

The superdelegates ought to show their respect for the democratic concept that every vote counts and wait until the primary season concludes to endorse a presidential candidate. The superdelegates then need to perform the function for which they were created and show integrity and courage in selecting the best qualified presidential candidate to win the general election, using their independent judment with no regard for any "delegate math." Sen. Clinton is the best qualified and strongest candidate to defeat McCain; she is the Democratic nominee.

The presidential nomination process has been subverted and sabotaged by the pro-Obama biased media, Obama's end-run tactics, and his conspiracy with Kennedy, Edwards, McGovern, and Byrd.

If Obama swipes the Democratic nomination, Obama will crash and burn in November and the Democratic Party will be a train wreck in November.

Sen. Clinton continues her campaign in fighting for the future of America and all Americans. All rational Democrats need to support her campaign and make frequent contributions at HillaryClinton.com.

"Anybody who has ever voted for me or voted for Barack has much more in common in terms of what we want to see happen in our country and in the world with the other than they do with John McCain," Clinton said on CNN's "The Situation Room."

"I'm going to work my heart out for whoever our nominee is. Obviously, I'm still hoping to be that nominee, but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that anyone who supported me ... understands what a grave error it would be not to vote for Sen. Obama." - May 14, 08

I'm a racist who hates white people, but not as much as my wife. I'm a misogynist who hates women, and hate that I can't keep stepping on the toes of female voters because I need them.

Waah-waah. I have no shame that I'm poised to weasel the nomination because it's ok to claim racism in every other breath, but we all know sexism is an urban myth. Just read all these comments. There's no gender bashing, there's no wage gap, women are proportionally represented in government equal to their numbers (50%+)

Waah-waah. I'm Barack Obama. I didn't exercise poor judgment and show my true colors in selecting as my spiritual mentor for the last 20 years a hate-crazed racist lunatic. No one points out that I wasn't in the Senate when the Iraq war was voted on and therefore I can claim I wouldn't have voted yes. Meanwhile, since I entered the Senate, I have voted repeatedly to fund the war and kept silent about the war for years until the force of public opinion was clearly opposed.

Waah-waah. I use slick speeches and preach obnoxiously to hypnotize voters whose lives are so achingly empty they will dazedly look to me as a Savior to save them from their small, empty lives.

Waah-waah. Racism exists in every corner. Sexism is a myth. Waah-waah.

For JakeD

John McCain is a liar. Just ask Charles Keating about the Senator's involvement in the Savings and Loan scandal.

Charles Keating was convicted of racketeering and fraud in both state and federal court after his Lincoln Savings & Loan collapsed, costing the taxpayers $3.4 billion. His convictions were overturned on technicalities; for example, the federal conviction was overturned because jurors had heard about his state conviction, and his state charges because Judge Lance Ito (yes, that judge) screwed up jury instructions. Neither court cleared him, and he faces new trials in both courts.)

Though he was not convicted of anything, McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating after Keating gave McCain at least $112,00 in contributions. In the mid-1980s, McCain made at least 9 trips on Keating's airplanes, and 3 of those were to Keating's luxurious retreat in the Bahamas. McCain's wife and father-in-law also were the largest investors (at $350,000) in a Keating shopping center; the Phoenix New Times called it a "sweetheart deal."

In 1996, on the eve of the retrial of the federal case, Keating entered a plea agreement -- he admitted to having committed bankruptcy fraud by extracting $1 million from American Financial Corp. while already anticipating the collapse that happened weeks later. In return, the federal prosecutors dropped all other charges against him and his son, Charles Keating III. He was sentenced to the four years he had already served.[3]

Keating remains essentially unrepentant, maintaining that not his mistakes but regulators' actions were ultimately responsible for the losses. He repeated these claims in an interview in 2006. The 2004 book The Savings and Loan Crisis: Lessons from a Regulatory Failure makes similar claims and presents Keating in a favorable light.[4]

In an April 2008 opinion piece titled "The Keating Five Legacy," William K. Black, Associate Professor of Law and Economics at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, presents his views about Keating (among others). Black was counsel to the Federal Home Loan Bank Board during the savings and loan crisis of the 1980s and was a whistleblower in the Keating Five scandal. His book on the crisis "The Best Way to Rob a Bank Is to Own One" was published in 2005 by the University of Texas Press.[5]

Some who lost their life savings committed suicide. When Charles Keating was prematurely released from jail, the living victims and family members of those who took their own lives felt as if they had been double crossed again.

This old man should go back to his luxurious ranch and spend his remaining days barbecuing and riding his horses.

His idea of who is a "terrorist" is probably anyone who lives in a foreign country.

Not this time.
