Obama Clarifies Remarks on Jerusalem

Updated 9:10 p.m.
By Glenn Kessler
Facing criticism from Palestinians, Sen. Barack Obama acknowledged today that the status of Jerusalem will need to be negotiated in future peace talks, amending a statement earlier in the week that Jerusalem "must remain undivided."

Obama, during a speech Wednesday to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a pro-israel lobbying group, had called for Jerusalem to become the site of the U.S. embassy, a frequent pledge for U.S. presidential candidates. (It is now in Tel Aviv.) But his statement that Jerusalem should be the undivided capital of Israel drew a swift rebuke from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

"This statement is totally rejected," Abbas told reporters in Ramallah. "The whole world knows that holy Jerusalem was occupied in 1967 and we will not accept a Palestinian state without having Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state."

The Bush administration's official position is that the status of Jerusalem is among the most sensitive issues and must be decided by the parties. Former President Bill Clinton, before he left office, had proposed a formula under which "Jerusalem should be an open and undivided city," including locating the Palestian capital in East Jerusalem.

Obama quickly backtracked today in an interview with CNN.

"Well, obviously, it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations," Obama said when asked whether Palestinians had no future claim to the city.

Obama said "as a practical matter, it would be very difficult to execute" a division of the city. "And I think that it is smart for us to -- to work through a system in which everybody has access to the extraordinary religious sites in Old Jerusalem but that Israel has a legitimate claim on that city."

But Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.) later said on behalf of the Obama campaign that Obama's comment to CNN should not be seen as backtracking or even an amendment. He said Obama was clarifying that he has long believed that it is up to the parties involved to determine the status of Jerusalem.

To my Jewish American friends the prophet Micah teaches of love justice and mercy. For G_d's sake please let me see this example. All I read is nationalistic chauvinism and exclusivist ideology. Judaism is being reduced to a physical state. G_d seeks love, justice and mercy. For how long will you pursue your brothers with a sword (2 Samuel 24:26)? http://palestineisraelquotes.blogspot.com/

Barak Obama made a mistake to promise an undivided Jerusalem he failed to set a positive example for the attendees of the AIPAC conference. He has hurt many by this statement. Let us hope he learns.

It's really as though everyone failed to pay attention to what he is saying!! He is making a logical and fair statement, HE can not decide the future status of Jerusalem but that Israel has a legitimate claim on that city.

People this man is a politician,he has to be logical. The conflicts regarding fanatic Islam (including Palestine) are not cut and dry. FANATIC muslims want all jews dead, period. Will the world ever be at peace with this horrific mentality, who knows. But we can not bash a man for being realistic and logical. I am pro-Israel. It is a little tiny nation (especially compared to America and all the Muslim nations)common sense says let them live in peace, and in a perfect world anyone who considers Jerusalem "the Holy land" should be able to pray there. But as long as people continue to blow themselves up, and kill others in the name of g-d, we can not reach this perfect world. I will not vote for anyone at this election. But choose your president wisely!! Do not allow this insane pessimism and negativity to be a part of you. LISTEN to what the candidate is saying, don't join forces with all the 'cool people' that love to be skeptical, and think everyone is wrong except for themselves. Obama did not take back what he said, he just said that it is not up to him to decide. It is sad to read some of these posts, as some people have a lot of hate in them. Universally, we all have the same blood pouring through our veins...we are all human. I'm a jew, I don't hate any muslim, christian, buddhist or any other person under the sun. I just consider myself to be unfortunate to have share a world with people that do.

Open your mind and read this again, maybe it will be clearer this time:

"Well, obviously, it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations," Obama said when asked whether Palestinians had no future claim to the city.

Obama said "as a practical matter, it would be very difficult to execute" a division of the city. "And I think that it is smart for us to -- to work through a system in which everybody has access to the extraordinary religious sites in Old Jerusalem but that Israel has a legitimate claim on that city."

Best Wishes for all!!

Obama is a joke that is less funny everyday. He doesn't need this sweetie's support, he's got Hamas and others of the like to support him all the way to the White House! My vote goes to a man who has a record of crossing party lines to find solutions for all. A man of honor who has proven himself trustworthy! I will never support a candidate with such radical views as Obama.

As a McCain and Israel supporter, I want to repudiate the racist and inflammatory comments "Posted by: Paul | June 10, 2008 12:55 AM", a purported McCain & Israel supporter. Whether he is actually from the other side trying to make McCain supporters look like racists, or actually a racist McCain supporter we'll never know. What we do know is that this cretin is not typical of McCain supporters or of most Americans, for that matter.

If Barack Obama would start to speak in ham handed sound bites, it would be very comfortable and familiar to many people. But solutions don't come without subtle analysis. That is why diplomacy is such a delicate thing. People need to listen closely to this calm and intelligent voice before they over react. We are so used to shaving with a hatchet, that it is is hard to see finer, more surgical approaches to problems. Obama '08

Wexler is a complete tool. You can usually tell practically word for word what he is going to say in response to a question before his yap starts flapping.

Hint: the interval between deflecting the interviewer's question and pivoting right back to the campaign talking points is usually one sentence.

I suppose it's good to have someone in the campaign that has message discipline since apparently the Wise Man is just now getting around to reading the focus group shaped position paper his campaign staff produced on the issue.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama is a liar or someone who only tell you half truth or true lies.

In front of American Israel Public Affairs Committee, he will say that Jerusalem should be the undivided capital of Israel but when confronted by his fellow muslims he will acknowledged that the status of Jerusalem will need to be negotiated in future peace talks, amending a statement earlier in the week that Jerusalem "must remain undivided."

Do you want such a liar or an indecisive person for president. He will soon backtrack on anythings that he has promise.

You can never trust a black especially a Kenyan Black Muslim who calls himself a christian. If he become president, the souls of American would be sold to his bloodline. Think about it, its a change the American will regret for generation to come.

VOTE John McCain, Republican.

In regards to Israel, it is called self defense. We couldn't make that claim in Iraq for the beginning. But now that we are there it has become a case of self defense.

Yeah Great, let's divide Jerusalem and give California back to Mexico while we are at it, right?

A lot of things happened in history for better or worse but what done is done! Jews have been through enough, millions slaughtered in the concentration camps and don't u dare challenge that fact...look at the documentary footage of people that look like skeletons.

Even today in the US there is enough anti-Semitism to go around...we never had a place in this world. Israel, that little piece of land in the middle of the desert, is our only salvation and Israel has a right to exist and a right for a border.

Bottom line is Jerusalem is going to remain part of Israel whether others want it or not. If a Palestinian state can't exist without Jerusalem as its capital that it will not exist at all. And if push ever comes to shove, Israel will not go down easy; the whole Middle East will burn if they dare...

Muslims who are anti-Israel should stay over there instead of coming here. Israel built a country out of the desert and made it very productive and fertile.

The Muslims could do that to their own countries instead of harboring all that hate and doing nothing but bombs and riots. They could help build up Palestine and Lebanon and Syria into modern day meccas. There is so much money in those countries they could do this, burn a lot and still have plenty.

I wish Jews would stop deluding themselves about owning Palestine by Divine decree. The old testament said they took the land by the sword - stole it by murdering the occupants. They massage their guilt by saying it was given to them by God. A "God" who promotes murder - I think not.

The comments here pertaining to Israel is to your shame, showing plainly your unfamiliar to the Word of God. The land was promised to Abraham and his seed. Subtract Israel from modern history and voila!: We have a world with no Hamas, no Hezbollah, no war in Iraq, and little or no conflict between U.S. and Syria and Iran. Very likely there would be little to fuel the hatred of Osama bin Laden and his ilk and, hence, no 9/11. Millions of people could come out of their graves and hiding places into a much more peaceful world. Hundreds of billions of dollars would be savedGiven this alternative reality, one can only conclude that the British Mandate that fulfilled the Zionist's imagined covenant with God to return to the Promised Land of ancient history was easily the greatest blunder in Human history. Modern Israel -- no matter how democratic or well intentioned -- may well be the source of World War III - and a real and unprophesied Armageddon.. The world would arguably be poorer without Jewish culture, but Israel is not necessary to Jewish culture. What's important to understand what the effects of Zionism and the taking of an Arab country have been

If President Clinton had not cut the military budget in half to disperse the money elsewhere, President Bush wouldn't have had the challenges he inherited. I will never forget when the 9-11 invasion took place. Everyone agreed to what needed to happen, but soon forgot about it. We have been protected so far. Only when we are in fear of losing our lives is when we change our minds. How are the candidates preparing for future attacks? Are they going to chat with the enemy and trust his honesty? When all is said & done, the most powerful job in the world, the U.S. Presidency, has a huge responsibility, both for America and the world. Think & plan now, the attacks are not over. Israel must be protected & so should we, the American people. Sure, gas prices are high, so is water and we don't stop buying either. As Americans, we have a responsibility to act, not just complain. My candidate didn't make, but I am not losing faith or focus. The world needs nicer, kinder, sensitive, proactive individuals who use their brains to stand for what can bring healing and prosperity to our nation, both in financial and human status. Selfishness brings bitterness and ruin. We have hurting people in our midst. We have a responsibility as humans, to reach out and to to help. It doesn't matter what your belief, love is greater than anything else and until we exercise that, we will perish as a race.
Let's unite as a race, make a commitment to each other and put importance in the things that will make us better people. Each president has had its challenges, let's focus on the triumphs and pray for the right candidate, then when in office, let's support him with prayer, respect & encouragement. Other nations are watching and seeing what we are doing and it is not healthy for our economy or our future status. We can lead by example as one people unified, strong, vigilant and worthy of respect. Let's remember, presidents have a huge responsibility and they come into the White House to familiarized, make an agenda, try to carry it out and depending on the situation, act, react, and continue to react until their term is over.

Mr. Obama spends a lot of time explaining himself after the fact. From comments on world affairs to people he knew but who "...are not I people knew..." like Rev. Wright, Resko, and who knows who or what else. It is clear he is an empty suit but clearly knows how to pander to his audience. The big boys and some girls who decided in back room negociations decided to anoit Obama as the nominee to run against Senator McCain, and the Messiah of the Democratic party will most likely live to regret their decision.

Israel is doing to the Palestinians what the American government did to the Indians. They are moving tehm off the land, by the acre, the orchard, the farm, the village, whatever! They will not stop until the land is "settled". Isreal will not stop building settlements or expanding territory until they are satisfied or the Palestinians can find a way to make them stop and make it so uncomfortable that is becomes not is Israel's interest to continue. Like America in Viet Nam, the enemy can not defeat us, but they made us leave. Until the cost is too high, the expansion policies will continue!

Obama really damaged himself with his Loser comments on Jerusalem. Either he didn't fully understand the historical/political meaning of his words to AIPAC, or, even worse, he clumsily revealed himself as just another worthless, pandering polititian when it come to the Israel-firsters that dominate the Beltway. Neither is good, and this off message pandering is more likely to hurt him with his base than it could ever help him with the Liberman/Likuud crowd. Pity the fool. This is the worse mistake he has personally made so far in the long campaign--and anything he subsequently says on this subject will just bury him deeper in the quicksand

Regardless of what your version of history is it is a fact that East Jerusalem is primarily Palestinian area and that East Jerusalem was occupied by the modern state of Israel in 1967. It is also a fact that the UN and the international community do not recognize Israel's claim to East Jersuslam. These facts cannot just be ignored in the interests of ideology. As such, Obama's Jerusalem comment sent the wrong message. His comment not only reflected flagrant pandering to right wing Israeli interests but also signaled that he is not willing to take the risks required to truly be an agent of change in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. The same old right wing one sided anti-Palestinian approach has served only to destabilize the entire region and promote anti-American sentiment abroad.

I donated to senator Obama's campaign even though I disagreed with his completely pro-Israel position. However, I am now having second thoughts. His Jerusalem comments are extremely troubling.

But...I have had enough of the "secretive" Republican Party, Jack Abramoff, Scooter Libby, Karl Rove, secret energy meetings, torture, lies to go to war in Iraq, Tom Delay, outing CIA agents and lying about punishing people for leaking sensitive info, Halliburton, Black Water, failing to get Osama Bin Laden, allowing the Taliban to make a comback in Afghanistan, allowing Pakistan to give the Taliban safe haven due to resources being misguided in Iraq, a $9.2 trillon dollar deficit, tax breaks for oil companies, tax breaks for buying bigger gas guzzling cars, cynically ignoring global warming and having White House lawyers doctor up EPA reports from Arctic scientists, the lift of the ban on assault weapons, slamming stem cell research, pandering to every right wing religious group in the country(WHAT HAPPEND TO SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE), starting an adminstration in 2000 on alienating our European allies if they didn't get on board StarWars (diverting attention from the Middle Easat and Bin Laden) and wanting to immediately tear up the SALT II Treaty with the Russians (you should read about that one), backtracking on giving Iraqi Vets. money for college, leaving our borders wide open, failing miserably post-Katrina in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, firing anyone who disagreeD with them (mostly Generals), Alberto Gonzales' lies and debacle, invading Iraq with no plan whatsoever to get that country under control, total lack of diplomacy, (I bet if the Iranians had ICBM'S we'd be talking to them-remember the Cuban Missile Crisis) and what this article is really about...THE US NEEDS TO BE AN HONEST BROKER IN THE MIDDLE EAST. ISRAEL MUST MOVE BACK TO THE 1967 BORDER, PUT UP IT'S WALL, on their land not 40 miles into Gaza -- a LAND GRAB, which they are doing now). THE U.S. WILL ALWAYS BACK THEM UP. That's certain.

So it's the former --- blatant pandering to one of the most notorious of all the PACS, politics as usual.

Obama did what he had to do to. And he did it artfully at a time when he knew a) the US media would swiftly move on and b) the McCain campaign will neither will be calling him on it nor can now outflank him on Israel!

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. It was the capital over a thousand years before Islam was invented. Two Temples stood in Jerusalem where the dome of the rock now stands.
Arafats uncle INVENTED the story of Mohameds horse being tied to the western wall and he accending to heaven from there. This is openly admitted as a lie by honest moslems.

Jerusalem is NOT holy to moslems. The dome of the rock was built as an INSULT to Jews and Christians as the inscription inside the dome testifies.

There will ever be peace while moslems get away with outrageous lies.

The world cannot tollerate a second Arab palestinian state!

While some in the the corporate media are trying to manufacture bogus flip flops they can pin on Obama, they studiously ignore the many truly outrageous and disturbing flips and flops that John McCain has been executing for months. He sometimes flips and flops and then flips back again to his initial position, as he's done with the immigration issue depending on whether his audience is right-wing xenophobes or corporate execs who want cheap immigrant labor.

But McCain's most recent flip flop is one of his most ominous ones to date. He is now endorsing Bush's illegal domestic spying program:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/06/us/politics/06mccain.html?hp=&pagewanted=print

=======================================

In a letter posted online by National Review this week, the adviser, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, said Mr. McCain believed that the Constitution gave Mr. Bush the power to authorize the National Security Agency to monitor Americans' international phone calls and e-mail without warrants, despite a 1978 federal statute that required court oversight of surveillance...

...But Mr. McCain had previously stopped short of endorsing the view that Mr. Bush's program of surveillance without warrants was lawful all along because a president's wartime powers can trump statutory limits.
=======================================

A McCain presidency would clearly continue the criminality of the Bush regime, and it could even be worse.

==============================

A McCain presidency would clearly continue the criminality of the Bush regime, and it could even be worse.

at INFO: "When he becomes president, he'll backtrack on every commitment to Israel."

Good. Too bad he has to pretend to make those commitments in the first place.

Hopefully after the completion of this election cycle American's will seriously consider reforming their entire federal election system and allow for one that actually gives voters a choice.

Down with the two-party state.

I see no backtracking here - Obama said, "as a practical matter, it would be very difficult to execute" a division of the city. "And I think that it is smart for us to -- to work through a system in which everybody has access to the extraordinary religious sites in Old Jerusalem but that Israel has a legitimate claim on that city."

Simple: the city will remain open and undivided and Israel will be it's chief custodian. What part of that statement, do we not understand??

The problem with the Palestinians is that they don't want to let go of Jerusalem and that is what is making this two state solution a major problem. In tackling these issues, you should start w/ what you can get and then build on it. Get a country going, work to improve your economy, etc and then comeback to the negotiating table. But they won't. They blame Israel for everything and then use violence as a negotiation strategy and that has not worked. They have to let go of Israel, take another city as their capital and the build a strong economy. I'm no Jew or an Israelite, but I think we can great progress if we sometimes make adjustments to our tough stands at the negotiating table. Sometimes a little yielding may serve us better than we had expected.

Again, the fringe ax-grinders who do not listen/read the actual words of their objects of ire are using blog comments to spew their generally hateful non-sequiturs.
Please spare us and just get online with talk radio.

Jimmy Carter and I are disappointed because we were hoping Israel and Palestine would be subjects of a National discussion. Like travel and trade with Cuba. Like enegry trade and diplomacy with Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil. I've had enough of top down leaders in this country and I thought I heard Obama say bottom up. Well that takes conversation and an arena where it happens.

This writing will explain why America is hurting finically, as it is found written according to god's word.
-
-
-
(Found written in the book: "THE GOD OF TRUTH", by roger wallace)
-
-
-
Ch. 41 w / 101 vs.------------------- "God's oath with Israel"
-
1 Now, at this time of the earth (11-1-2007AD), it would seem to me, Roger Wallace, that our country (USA), maybe being judged of god, in the concern of Israeli land being divided--such as: "Concerning the recent, Jerusalem issue".
-
2 And, as considering how bad the recent California fires, have been, in California, in this year, of 2007 AD.
-
3 Then, maybe, we as a nation, we need to consider, that perhaps, we are being cut up by our true god. As concerning, this recent, trying to divide, Israeli land, issue.
-
4 In other words, are we, the united states and the world. Are we trying to help divide the historic Israeli land oath,
-
5 That is given of god himself?. If so, we need, to not be trying to change god's eternal, true oath.
-
6 And, it would seem, to me. That maybe we are being judged, of god. As a disobedient true nation, in regards to the dividing of Israeli true land. But, we do, tend to over look those things of god, as it would seem, to me.
-
7 And, we do seem, to be looking at those things. As if they are simply a true act of nature, rather than seeing that god is trying to speak to us, as a nation.
-
8 And, when, we truly, do ignore god. Then, we in turn, we do cause, more punishment, to be able, to perhaps occur from god, to our nation, and, unto the world, forever,
-
9 And, that punishment. It is, until, we help Israel. To become, all, that biblical true Israel, is suppose to be. As what, is all reunited true Israeli true land,
-
10 That is found as being the entire true land called Israel , as god has said, would be as Israeli true land, forever. For that entire true land,
-
11 It is the biblically true land of Israel, as it is found under the entire, true oath of god, forever
-
12 And, that true land of the bible, it is suppose to be all biblical true land. That is called Israel forever, and it is to be reunited of god, as all reunited true Israeli biblical true land, forever.
-
13 And, to not conform unto all true biblical true Israel, as it is to be found forever true. As being, all Israeli land, forever,
-
14 Then, our true and kind god, he will most certainly, hold all of our now leaders, accountable to god himself, forever. For such acts of rebellioness,
-
15 As they, these leaders, are seen by our true god, as being sinful true leaders and the like. For they chose to not perform the true Israeli land promise of god,
-
16 Therefore, any christian leaders and non christian true leaders, that do demonstrate of themselves, as being publicly against all that is toward god's eternal, biblical true oath with Israel,
-
17 Then, that person and or persons, god shall hold that person and or persons, accountable for being found sinfully against god,
-
18 And, our true world, it is, truly divided over these things, And, there are those, of the world. Who do claim christianity. But they do not encourage Israel, to be found in all it's seen historic Israeli true land, forever.
-
19 And, these christian leaders and the like. That do purposely, do not encourage Israel, to be found in all of it's (Israel) seen true oath, with god,
-
20 Then, as they perform not god's promise to Israel forever. Then they are performing, against god, true, unlawful true deeds, unto god, forever.
-
21 And, they are, most surely, seen unto god, forever. As being found in and with, antichrist true deeds, against god forever.
-
22 Therefore, those sinful antichrist true deeds. They are seen unto god, forever. As being, truly rebellious christian seen leaders and rebellious, true world leaders, and so forth,
-
23 And those antichrist true seen sins, they are discovered by our true god, forever. And god shall damn those leaders and such, forever,
-
24 If they be found in making war against god, by not conforming unto the Israeli land promise of god, forever.
-
25 And, as they, those sinful true leaders, are seen, unto god forever. They are seen, as being forever true in death before god, as death, forever.
-
26 As they are found unto god. In their personal true actions, in being not concerned about god's oath. For if they were, concerned. Then they would pursue such things, openly and publicly before god, forever.
-
27 Therefore, they do refrain from god publicly. And they truly do, perform, personal, unlawful, true deeds, against god, publicly, forever.
-
28 And, as they do not pursue god, in being on Israel's behalf, publicly, that Israel, maybe reunited with all of her, biblical true land, forever.
-
29 Then that action, publicly, in denying god and denying christ Jesus, to not pursue the oath for Israel, on god's behalf,
-
30 Then, that is found from a personal, true lack of obedience, unto god and unto christ Jesus, forever. As that is found in these eternal and most true matters, as their office, calls for these things to be pursued in the world,
-
31 Therefore, their lack of attention, to the reunification of Israel. Then, that tries to make god. As god, being a eternal, true liar, in the eyes of the entire true world, forever,
-
32 For as god hath placed those leaders and so forth, into their public offices, that they may bring forth god's laws, toward all men, forever,
-
33 Then god hath given those officials and christian officials of the world, responsibility to conform unto all of the prophesies, that are written concerning god's laws, forever.
-
34 Therefore, when they refrain from encouraging Israel to seek all of her land, forever. Then these sinful true leaders, they truly are seen,
-
35 As breaking god's written, true oath, that is the god's true oath with Israel, forever. And that true oath. It is seen, unto the world, forever.
-
36 And, when they truly do not pursue on god's behalf, that true oath for god. Then they are encouraging god's lawful true oath, as found concerning all biblical true Israeli land forever, to be null and void, forever.
-
37 And, those sinful, evil true deeds. They are demonstrated unto god, forever. They are demonstrated unto god, forever. As they truly do perform,
-
38 Those evil true deeds, before god. As they are seen, as being found toward god, in blasphemous eternal true sin, forever.
-
39 Therefore, they are antichrist--truly rebellious unto god, forever, in demonstrating that they think, that they can change god's true oath,
-
40 By trying to change that oath, by their own seen hands, of mischief. Which is seen, as being antichrist, forever.
-
41 And, the church, does need to stress, these antichrist true things, diligently, unto the body of christ. And, also, unto all people who effected by this issue, that they may be taught to refrain from their seen, antichristism, forever.
-
42 At times, the church world, does seem to focus more on teaching god's love without teaching about god's true wrath, rather than all that is god's love, and god's actions, as concerning what god is prepared to do, to correct this antichristism issue, forever.
-
43 Yes, god does forgive, but god does more than just simply forgive us, he is prepared to correct us, if needed, and judge us, if needed.
-
44 Our god, most certainly, does consider anyone, who resists intentionally, his (god) historic true oath with Israel. As they are found,
-
45 In and or headed toward being a functional true part the beastly image, that is the beast, that is called fallen true men, forever.
-
46 And, unto, all nations, if any of those seen leaders and seen judges, and so forth. Are seen in breaking god's eternal true oath with Israel,
-
47 Then, they, are found wanting unto god forever, as they, be found, in trying to break god's oath. As they are seen, as seen unto god, forever.
-
48 As they are seen, as being spiritually seen. As they, are found, in being of a true functional part of the anti christ, true beast, as being forever certain, and, forever true.
-
49 And that mark of shame, it is written within themselves, as the name of satan, forever
-
50 And they are seen, as being of satan's beastly speaking true ways of speaking blasphemy unto god forever, and that true blasphemy, it is seen and felt,
-
51 Unto god, as being forever certain and forever seen, by our true god, forever,
-
52 And, all speaking satan blasphemous, true leaders and with their already, damned, judges. They are them, that do purposely try to cut up Israel,
-
53 And those particular, true leaders of the earth and so forth, they are fallen and or headed unto satanism, forever, and they shall be, most surely, damned forever, in hell forever. Unless they repent in Jesus christ, quickly, and forever.
-
54 For at this time of the earth, our true god. He has written concerning these things, already. Therefore, god shall damn all, who shall purposely contend with god, forever,
-
55 For they purposely try to break god's oath. That is written between, Israel and our true god, forever.
-
56 Even, as they of the world leaders. Do try to make god break his promise, with Israel. Our true god, shall and does hold each of them, as being held, accountable unto himself (god), forever.
-
57 Therefore, they are already cursed of god, forever. And god, shall punish them, in this world, and in the world, that is to come.
-
58 Therefore, these are damned already, therefore, they must repent of their seen sin, quickly. For their seen sins, are already, sinfully, demonstrated, unto god. And our true god, shall judge them, now, and forever.
-
59 Yea, thou must, come out of the beastly image, whomsoever thou art, or I (god) shall damn thee, forever, saith thy eternal, true god. As being, forever seen, and, forever true,
-
60 For if thou repent not. Then thou art found unto me. As thou being like unto satan's, seen, true rebellioness, forever. Then, thou shalt, most surely, die unto me, as being forever true.
-
61 As a note: From verse 60 to verse 1 of this chapter 41. It was written before today. And today, it is: 1-23-2008AD. And, from here to below. Is found, a letter that I have written to Mr. Oral Roberts, who is the founder of Oral Roberts University, in Tulsa Oklahoma, usa.
-
62 That letter, it is written, as it concerning mister Bush, who is the president of the united states (2008AD)--as that true letter, is written in the true regards, of mister Bush, trying to divide, forever-- Israel.
-
63 But first--lets look into these bible scriptures. That are about the nations of the earth being cut up. As to when they are trying to divide any and all parts of Israeli biblical national land, that is found under god's oath with Israel.
-
64 Zechariah 12:1-3
-
65 1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD,
which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of
the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
-
66 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the
people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against
Judah and against Jerusalem.
-
67 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for
all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in
pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together
against it.
-
68 In zechariah 12:3. It is speaking of end of the days eternal just judgments from god---as it is found given and established of god, forever. And it is given from god forever--as it is given by our true god through Jesus christ, forever--- For that is found under the words " cut in peaces'. As that is found written in 12:3.
-
69 And those zechariah 12:3 judgments. They are given from god, through Jesus christ, unto: Any People, nation, tongue--and, as to whom, may come with unrighteous sinful true burdens against Israel's true land oath, that is made between Israel and our kind god, forever,
-
70 For Israel's oath is a cup of trembling to all heathen nations, that are found in unrepentiful true seen sin forever. As to when they come to gather in spirit,
-
71 As before all of Israel and, as before all of Jerusalem. As to do battle against god, forever--as they are found declaring burdens of sinful true war, against the oath of god--that is established forever--between Israel and god, forever,
-
72 Therefore, Israel is burdensome stone to all who shall and do declare war against god, forever--as god is seen, as being: "Eternal as being eternally forever--Israel forever.
-
73 And of course--god shall seek to destroy all sinful true nations, who come to do battle against god--for god is Israel and is most surely--eternal-- as being: "Jerusalem"--and our kind god (god Is the nation called Israel), he lives forever, and he (god) is eternally forever.
-
74 Below here-- Is a letter, that has been already been written in this eternal, true book, that is called "The God Of Truth".
-
75 -------------------------------------------------------------------------707 pm 1-22-2008AD
-
76 Dear Oral Roberts,
77 W / 24 verses
78 1 I (roger wallace) am very concerned about our country. Our god is cutting
(America's money system is in long term economic trouble) us up (our money, is
now clashing, greatly, and without true end, in site, it would appear) in the
regards of president Bush trying to divide Israeli land.
-
79 2 Please pray for him and try to speak to him, to help him understand. Not to do that awful thing, that he is trying to do to all of Israel. And, no doubt, our true god. He will require recompense in this matter. That is, if mister Bush, will not stop,
-
80 3 Trying to divide the Israeli land oath of god. And, as to what our god shall do, to mister Bush and unto those that help mister Bush to do such evil, I do not know.
-
81 4 If mister Bush, will not stop trying to divide Israel from having god's written true oath, as it is found forever, in scripture. Then our true, kind god. He shall not hear mister Bush's cries, to him (god).
-
82 5 And this is because mister Bush is not hearing our true god. As our god has shown him, not to do this attempt in trying to divide all of Israel away from the written true oath of god, that is eternally written between Israel and god, forever.
-
83 6 One thing is for sure: "Our god is angry with him". For in spirit, mister Bush has gathered himself against Jerusalem, to divide Jerusalem and to divide Israel. And our true god, he will, no doubt:
-
84 7 He (god) will deal with mister Bush. For mister Bush is being eternally, hard hearted against all of the Israeli land oath of god, forever. And mister Bush, he is found unto god forever, as in not helping Israel to be found in all Israel's biblical true land, forever.
-
85 8 Soon, our true god. He shall leave mister Bush and satan shall try to obtain mister Bush unto unrepentiful true seen sin, again. For in works, mister Bush has and is blaspheming god by denying to encourage Israel to seek all of her seen biblical true land forever.
-
86 9 If mister Bush will not repent, soon. Then remember these scriptures, as they are found as being: "1 Samuel 15":
-
87 10 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
-
88 11 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
-
89 12 15:24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
-
90 13 15:25 Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.
-
91 14 15:26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.
-
92 15 15:27 And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.
-
93 16 15:28 And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbor of thine, that is better than thou.
-
94 17 Our kind true god, he is not to be taken lightly of. For he is the creator and our true god, he lives forever. And because he (god) lives, we shall live forever. And the choices we make in today's, true world, forever.
-
95 18 They do and will determine our eternal, true existence, forever. And those eternal true choices, they will, all and each. They shall be found to be making our choice for us to live in heaven or to live in hell with satan death, forever.
-
96 19 Many shall die unto god eternally forever. For many shall not repent from their rebelliousness forever. Therefore, these are damned already. For in deeds and works, as it is given by them, forever, unto our true god, forever,
-
97 20 They have denied god and do deny god, unto themselves, forever. As to ever accept and believe all, and to fulfill all, that is god's will. As to do all of those eternal, true filling true things, on our true god's behalf, for god, forever.
-
98 21 And, as those things, are found eternally written to us, forever. As it is already eternally found written from god and by our true god, to us. As those things, are, already, eternally found written, to us, in the christian bible, forever.
-
99 22 Our president needs to seek our true god's favor. As to help Israel to be found forever, in all biblical true Israeli land forever. Therefore, all sinful unto god, true nations, true kingdoms, true tongues, they do come and go,
-
100 23 But will those shameful true countries, that are found. As being eternally forever, truly found. As being eternally: anti Israeli land oath, true nations. Will they appear forever in the earth?---no they will not, saith thy god eternally forever, therefore, let all nations, understand, these things eternally forever, least I (god) move in pain upon them that would desire my hurt, as I (god) am Israel land, forever.

Well there is flip flopping and then there is this. This is qualitatively worse.

When he talked to AIPAC about an undivided Jerusalem, I thought to myself, does he know what he just did?

A day later, he found out and decided to pick the other side of the battle. An astonishing failure. Astounding stupidity.

I can not get over how little he must know about what is happening in this world, or more important, how things got to be the way the are and how intractable some of these issues are.

You don't bring people together by supporting both warring parties' positions. That is not flip flopping, nor pandering. That is
dangerous stupidity.

Obama's show of ignorant politicking disappoints, but McCain isn't a better choice to many. Our two-party system refrains democracy.

Allowing 2nd choice and 3rd choice as on some ballots would open opportunities for third-party candidates to run without their voters fearing a lost voice. If that had been the case in 2000, Nader's 2nd choice votes would have put Gore on top. Likewise in 1992 Bush Senior would have beat out Clinton with Perot's second choice votes. These two outcomes would have been more in line with what the nation wants - greater democracy.

If Obama can't say the same thing in the same week about the same issue before the election I can imagine what the case might be like after the election. In fact, the Presidency might be better off if the decisions were left to a daily opinion poll of American voters.

Just the facts WP. The press has allowed politicians to frame arguments for too long. Is the MSM just too weak or too lazy? Is it the free food on the Campaign that causes them to pull their punches? Really, "clarifies remark on Jerusalem". Obama is just proving himself to be a politician. I'd like to know why he calls himself a Black American. I mean, he didn't grow up in a Black community or amongst other Blacks. He didn't go to a predominantly Black College. He's as white as McCain. Now that he's quit the Trinity Church and thrown Rev. Wright under the bus, can't we call Obama white. He's better keep his Personal Umbrella Holder/manservant around or he'll lose all his street cred.

I see he isn't even waiting until he is elected before he "revisits" the positions that were the centerpiece of his campaign -- just like Samantha Power said he would.

Abbas is wrong. The whole world knows that holy Jerusalem was occupied in 1948, but the whole world stood silently by and did nothing. Holy Jerusalem was liberated and reunified in 1967, and with the help of G*d she will never again be divided.

Obama is doing exactly what I expect him to do, as most politicians do. He will say what his audience wants to hear. He will contradict himself on two consecutive days and then "clarify" what he "really" meant. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.
