Michelle Obama: Electing Barack No "Easy" Job

By Alec MacGillis
DENVER -- All the talk of anxiety among Democratic delegates about Barack Obama's chances this fall may have gotten to his wife Michelle. Addressing several hundred members of the convention's black caucus at the Denver convention center today, she appeared to be referring to those worrying about the closeness of the race when she broke off her train of thought, paused, and declared in a serious, gently upbraiding tone: "This is not going to be easy. There's nothing about electing Barack Obama to be the next president of the United States that could ever be easy."

The crowd laughed knowingly.

"Easy wasn't in the cards."

The crowd laughed again.

"I always tease Barack. I say, you just don't do things easy, do you? But just because it's not easy doesn't mean it's not possible."

The crowd broke into loud applause.

Disparaging Obama's success does nothing to diminish it. This merely cheers up small-minded people by demonstrating that there are some commenters with minds smaller than their own. Racism will die, despite your puny efforts!

NOT EASY, Come on Michelle! Tell the FACTS!
ALL THIS FOR OBAMA - DNC rules set forth for JJ in the 1980's that GAVE additional pledged delegates in every state to Obama, NOT counting votes in counties and ENTIRE states, strong arming Super Delegates, keeping MILLIONS from voting in disenfranchising caucuses, media bias that created a media that withheld anything negative about Obama and Obama voters threatening other opposing voters at some caucuses! Yes, with all this unfairnes it was actually pretty easy for Obama to become the Democrat nominee EVEN THOUGH HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE, NO QUALIFICATIONS AND EVEN LESS JUDGEMENT!

Bill Ayers' a professor? Jeremiah Wright a preacher? The Democratic majority unable to overcome the Republicans - so the Iraq War goes on? Michele Obama proud of her country? Barack Obama qualified to be President of the United States?

I guess if you buy into one of these lies, you might as well buy into all of them.
