McCain Bundler Accused of War Profiteering

By Matthew Mosk
There is more trouble this week for Harry Sargeant, the Florida fundraiser who has been bundling checks for Republican Sen. John McCain.

Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) released a letter today outlining his findings after reviewing contracts Sargeant's oil company brokered with the U.S. Department of Defense.

They aren't pretty.

"I have been conducting oversight of procurement problems in Iraq since the war began over five years ago. The IOTC contracts stand out for the extent of the company's apparent profiteering," Waxman wrote. "Of the $210 million in profits received by the company, at least one third -- $70 million -- appears to have benefited a single individual: Mr. Sargeant."

At issue were the prices Sargeant's company, the International Oil Trading Co., charged for jet fuel. Waxman said the company offered the highest prices of six companies to bid for the military contract but won because it was the only one with the blessing of the Jordanian royal family to deliver fuel over Jordanian land.

Waxman says that if the oil contracts Sargeant's company had been awarded to the lowest bidders, the taxpayers could have saved over $180 million.

If you don't think power corrupts take a good look at John McCain. He is physically addicted to it. Most men his age would be satisfied with a 26 year career in the senate. But no, not "that one".
He wants power so badly that getting it justifies any and all means to that end.
McCain dodders around telling whatever lies they give him to mouth, no matter how foul. He spouts fear, incites ethnic and racial hatred at every opportunity. No matter that people are worried and fearful enough that they will be unable to pay their bills and feed their family.
McCain offers no real help to these people.
His concern is for the people who have corrupted him, Oil company executives, Banking and Insurance company C.E.O.s and now Military Arms Manufacturers.
"power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"
Don't let "That One" get absolute power.

Vote McCain!

Do it for Joe the Fake Plumber, and for Harry the Real War Profiteer.

Obama's extra 3% tax on the very rich would stifle Harry the War Profiteer's entrepreneurial spirit. No longer would he work hard to bilk the taxpayer by conspiring with foreign governments to block cheaper oil shipments to US troops.

Obama's trying to kill the whole war profiteering industry, which employs thousands of hardworking Americans like Harry.

THE STOCK MARKET RALLIED TODAY

BECAUSE McCAIN WON THE DEBATE!

Joe the Plumber now has a voice, speaking for the middle and upper middle class, trying to get ahead. The REAL Rich has been represented by Penny Pritzker's Candidate. Joe said, sure today it's people making over 250K that will get killed by Obama's taxes, but soon, as Obama's agenda gets more expensive, it will be people making 150K, and so on...it's like that old saying about not speaking out when someone comes for your neighbors....soon there will no one left to speak out when someone comes for you.
