KIRTLAND, Ohio -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) is spending Halloween at three campaign rallies across Ohio, where she won a key victory in the Democratic primary campaign. Today's rallies are part of a series of appearances the New York senator has held with Democrats nationwide, campaigning both for the Obama-Biden campaign and Democratic congressional candidates.

"I was thinking about dressing up. And I really wanted to be scary," Clinton said at her first stop, acknowledging the holiday. "I've done the princess stuff, and this time I wanted to be really frightening, so I thought I would dress up like George W. Bush," she said to cheers.
"Then I realized John McCain took that costume."

Clinton later added: "This is our chance my friends. It's going to either be trick or treat. The trick -- we can't fall for that again. The treat is new leadership with a new president, in Barack Obama."

The senator spoke to a crowd of 800 to 1,000 people at Lakewood Community College, located in Lake County, a swing county in this swing state. Clinton won 62 percent of the county's Democratic votes during the primary. She bested Obama statewide 54 to 44 percent.

Gov. Ted Strickland (D) introduced Clinton to the crowd noting that, "Ohio and Ohioans have expressed their deep admiration of her, their deep respect for her in the primary election.

"We are proud of the fact that Ohio spoke so strongly. But we are equally proud that now that the primary is over, and we are facing the general election, that Hillary Rodham Clinton is working her heart out to make sure that Barack Obama is the next president of the United States of America."

ATTENTION TAID (I'm very well employed and VERY accurate- from the home of Keith Olberman:)

Now AP Report Confirmed by (of all places) MSNBC!

AP: Obama’s aunt living in U.S. illegally
Immigration judge denied Kenyan woman’s request for asylum in 2004
updated 11:27 p.m. ET, Fri., Oct. 31, 2008
WASHINGTON - Barack Obama's aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.

Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as "Aunti Zeituni" in Obama's memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango's case.

Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one of them a federal law enforcement official. The information they made available is known to officials in the federal government...

Again- she's living in public housing in Boston, which means she's not only illegally here- We're paying to keep a roof over her head, while her Millionaire nephew tells US that he wants to decide how to "spread the wealth around"!

So, our tax dollars have been subsidizing Obama's aunt's housing for the past 5 years, while she is living here Illegally AND DONATING $260 to her nephew's campaign!

AND Obama's now chastising people who don't trust him to share our income judiciously!

Zogby Runs a 3 Day Poll- Updating daily- Well, 10/31 was a GREAT Day for John McCain- UP 48-47 over Obama for the first time in eons!

It makes good sense: after all Obama said it was "good to spread the wealth around" YET HE doesn't walk the talk- His Aunt, about whom he wrote in his memoirs, Is living ILLEGALLY in a South Boston Housing project(reported tonight by AP), and his half brother lives in Kenya in very primitive conditions....SO, America is waking up to the hypocritical redistributive economics of Barack Obama- he wants to REDISTRIBUTE OUR income to take care of his illegal aunt, when HE won't!

Here's a TRUE Halloween Scare-

Salah Khalaf, a member of Black September the group responsible for killing the Israeli Olympic athletes, died in 1991. FOX NEWS just tonight obtained his obituary, written by Rashid Khalidi, Barack Obama's friend. Khalidi praised Khalaf! Sen.Obama, you claim to have "900 friends" who aren't associated with terrorists....WHY DO YOU HAVE 2 WHO ARE? I DON'T AND I DON'T WANT MY PRESIDENT SO ASSOCIATED!

Washington Post the Trail today-
McCain was also asked whom he would name as Treasury secretary, commerce secretary and secretary of defense. McCain didn't hesitate to toss out a few names "Gates has done a fabulous job. [Former eBay chief executive] Meg Whitman, of one of my most trusted advisers. [Former GE chief] Jack Welch is a great guy. I have utmost trust and confidence in [Sen.] Joe Lieberman."

Sounds like Gates gets to keep his job and Lieberman is headed to State.

Hey Florida- How Does Secretary of State

Lieberman Sound?

Hillary, we share your dream that no American should be forced to go without health care, or to choose between it and food or shelter.

That's why we're voting for Obama.

Because our values, yours, and his, are the real American values, not the Hobsian anti-utopia values of the Republican party.

They think life is "nasty, brutish, and short"

We want it to be long and happy.

And that's why we're Democrats!

Associated Press
AP poll: 1 in 7 voters still persuadable
By ALAN FRAM 10.31.08, 9:19 AM ET

WASHINGTON - Patrick Campbell worries Barack Obama will raise his taxes but thinks John McCain will send people off to war. He says that leaves him leaning toward Obama ... maybe.

"I'm split right down the middle," said the 50-year-old Air Force Reserve technician from Amherst, N.Y. "Each one has things that are good for me and things that are bad for me. And people like me."

With the sand in the 2008 campaign hourglass about depleted, Campbell is part of a stubborn wedge of people who, somehow, are still making up their minds about who should be president. One in seven, or 14 percent, can't decide, or back a candidate but might switch, according to an Associated Press-Yahoo (nasdaq: YHOO - news - people ) News poll of likely voters released Friday.

KEEP THROWING PROMcCAIN REPORTERS OFF THE PLANE OBAMA REPLACING THEM WITH JET AND ESSENCE MAGAZINE WRITERS- YOU'RE LETTING AMERICA SEE YOUR TRUE AUTHORITARIAN SIDE A FEW DAYS TOO SOON: Fairness Doctrine comes next - cut off conservative radio- like you cut off that tv station in Orlando-

YOU'RE WORSE THAN BUSH- HE DIDN'T TRY TO CUT OFF MSNBC! and 1 IN 7 ARE DECIDING...

MarkInAustin demonstrated his total lack of sense of humor by posting:

thenotoriousflavio, here's President Bush addressing the Republican Governors' Association (with Palin in the same room):

Nice one wes1155! Let me give it a shot.

You see MarkInAustin, that's BUSH in his Sarah "Celebrity" Palin outfit and John McCain is the one you actually think is Bush (they ARE so hard to tell apart).

Save OUR Country and Constitution from those without a sense of humor

This nation is on the verge of something historic - the election of a smart, competent black man as President of the United States. If is fair to say the entire world is watching. It is also fair to say the vast majority is rooting for a Republican defeat. If you don’t believe me you clearly don’t read anything.

How did we get to this place and time? How did a freshman Senator inspire millions of voters to finance his unlikely campaign? Why is he leading in the polls? How did this happen?

Well, I’ll tell you how it happened for me.

I was one of those who had doubts about the Iraq war. I did not believe that Iraq was an imminent threat to the United States. Not that Saddam was a good guy ( he wasn’t) however there are lots of bad guys in the world who are not an imminent threat to us whom we don’t attack. We were already flying over his country everyday. There was a tight embargo. Unless he had nuclear weapons how big a threat could he be?

The Administration then lied to us about Saddam and his weaponry.. Further, it sent out a duped Colin Powell to convince us. Bush knew we would believe Colin. So the United States of America, beacon of liberty, attacked a third world country, destroyed its hapless military, made rubble of its infrastructure and occupied it.

Later the lies came out. There were no dangerous weapons. Just fudged intelligence.

The Dems swept into control of Congress in 2006. Bush’s veto could override a 51-49 majority in the Senate so the war went on. Notwithstanding every indication that the majority of Americans didn’t want this war to continue, it went on anyway with no end date. I watched as we tortured prisoners, suspended Habeas Corpus and shredded the Constitution. I watched as Bush politicized the Justice Department and placed incompetent political hacks in high office. Then came the financial collapse.

So here we are. Tens of millions of us have made this journey starting a different places for different reasons; a journey which began with a distaste and disgust with Bush to a point where we may take our country back. Tens of millions have worked hard, made whatever donations we could afford and are already voting in many states.

The whole world is rooting for us to succeed. The whole world needs an America they can look up to again.

MAKE SURE YOU VOTE!

:-)

Obviously Palin is a hologram at this event just as Palin confirms daily which should be evident by now. Palin is a shallow projected, unsubstantial, vacuous, contrived illusion. A hand can pass right through her just as cognizant, cogent thought passes through her head without ever finding any fertile ground to grow on.

jhpbriton spewed: : "Do you have a job? Did you get your GED??? Do you even make 1x FPL?"

Not to brag, but I probably made more last year than you (as well as Joe the Pseudo-Plumber's) will in your entire life.

The thing is that I TRUELY hold my "Country First" not my TAX BILL,

I'm not a coward so I'm not afraid of terrorists,

I TRUELY beleive in a Balanced Market system that includes regulation of greed and NOT corporate welfare.

I do believe that Universal Healthcare will enable people to move out jobs that they are tied down to so they can be more productive.

I believe in the second amendment but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to get guns off our streets.

The list goes on.

In all...I think for myself. Unlike you and your conservadrone buddies that have nearly destroyed this country.

Save our Country and Constitution from the ignoranti like jhpbriton

This election will change everything, because a giant cloud will be lifted off of our country.

Ii will change what we will believe is possible.

Our national nightmare will be over.

The blessed word "former" will go in front of President Bush's name.

Cheney can go back to eating small children and shooting lawyers as a private citizen.

President Obama.

It has a nice ring to it.

Posted by: svreader | October 31, 2008 5:59 PM

Everyone needs to have "skin in the game". We should let the Bush tax cuts expire and leave them alone. Once we get to 49% of wage earners NOT paying income taxes the US hits a tipping point. The majority of citizens will NOT pay income taxes. They will only elect those that increase services and therefore continually raise taxes on those that are successful.

I am fine with a progressive tax code (Clinton), but the McCain and Obama cuts are going to send the country down the wrong path.

Everyone needs to have some "skin in the game".

This election will not change a thing.

The student in elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and graduate school who excelled in english, math, physical science (chemistry, physics), life sciences (biology) .... studied long, hard hours, achieved very good to excellent grades (NOT on a curve)...they mastered the subject area....these same students became life-long learners. They succeed in life.

Those of you who did not excel, who eventually majored in a nominally valued major in college (you limited your market place attractiveness)....will still be on the outside looking in (and asking for a hand out).

If your son/daughter is not committing 20 hours a week to studying in high school they will be behind the curve to every EU, BRIC, and Pacific Rim student of the same age.

This is reality...not a game show. You don't succeed without the effort.

Hillary's a great Senator and a great American.

She would have been a great president.

Obama will be.

And Hillary will continue to be a great Senator and will work together with Barack to making America great again.

We're all on the same taam.

We need every good person we can get if we'
re going to repair the damage Bush/Cheney have done to our country.

Hillary has managed to make herself a non-story in this race. The only publicity she gets is for stumping for Obama. Lots of sighs from Axelrod and Co. for that...
