Cindy and Candy on the McCain Plane

ABOARD STRAIGHT TALK AIR -- Calling it a "fall surprise," Cindy McCain made a rare (some say first-ever) visit to the press section of Sen. John McCain's plane this morning.

She carried with her a plastic Jack-O-Lantern filled with candy, which she and Sen. Lindsey Graham passed out to a somewhat stunned plane-load of reporters.

The wife of the Republican nominee has been meticulous in her avoidance of the press on the trail, trying to preserve some semblance of privacy. In recent days, she has been the subject of critical reports about her efforts to engineer cell phone service at her secluded Arizona ranch.

But this morning she was all smiles, wishing the press an early Halloween greeting, and passing out peace offerings of Kit Kat bars and Baby Ruths. She shared polite handshakes and smiles for three or four minutes, and then headed back up the aisle.

In the photo, nobody's eating their candy. Could our intrepid reporters be suspicious of Mrs. MarkofCain's gracious gesture?

Don't vote for the scary white dude!

Cindy was all smiles this morning? Back in the day, when the AZ press revealed her massive drug addiction and drug thefts, local's kids were warned off her stoop at Halloween...Baptists celebrate pagan Halloween now? Hmm, no wonder Baptist Palin feels free to breach her Baptists indoctrination and laws to play footsie with JOE SIX PACK's ... or is it no wonder to be a hypocrite to just court JOE SIX PACK (the polite term for White Trash)

Cindy was all "smiles" last week while scowling at those wimpy whiny wounded and dysfunctional troops last weekend insisting they were already wimps who got bad training from other losers.

Wonder if Cindy was all smiles as the nation was yesterday when:

FOX news GOP'er Conservative Malzberg - defender of all things McCain yesterday on FOX live airwaves ....insisted:

".. even though the actual Joe Wurzelbacher would do far better under Obama's tax plans, the real point is that raising taxes on the wealthy to give relief to the middle class removes any incentive for people to get rich....

Did McCain straight talk those straight facts during his publicity stunt call to his latest victim: Joe? Nah

Smiles for miles as long as the rubes vote for the very people who mock them!

The fact is Obama's tax plan is just a return to the PROVEN system
Bill Clinton used during the prosperity of his term in office.
Bill Clinton left office with huge budget surpluses.

McCain's tax plan is just an extension of the PROVEN failure of the Bush tax system of rewarding the wealthy and corporations at the expense of the middle class. The middle class is now paying for his mess.

People like to argue theory and statistics but it's as simple as this: Are you better off now then you were eight years ago?

How many people out there make over 250 grand a year? How many people have even seen 250 grand?
How many people out there make 40 grand like our friend Joe the Handyman? If you are like him you would be way better off with Obama's tax and healthcare plans.
The CEOs and Cindy McCain will have to give up a little more of their money, maybe have to live in 6 houses instead of seven.

Getting candy from the McCains?

Wait till Halloween when their defeat will be so obvious, that McCain-Palin will be viewed as the most inept team of candidates in the last 100 years. Cindy may be handing out carmeled apples....and a good journalist will be checking those treats for razor blades

This election will the mother of all landslides

Candy On A Plane?

Think of the snakes! McCain, Rick Davis,
Steve Schmidt and that entire slimy crew of Rethugs

Let anyone at the top of the GOP take a bite out of you....and your life will die.

The venom is $50,000 in campaign contributions.
Take a bite out of crime....just say NO!

In 2000 McCain lost to Bush. It 2008 McCain is losing because of Bush. He should wake up and see who his real enemy is

You are again making assumptions based on facts which you don't have. How do you know how much he gave? Maybe like many Catholics he doesn't include what he gives during service at church. Maybe he just didn't care to take the deduction.

The point is you don't know. I don't take all of the deductions for donations to charities or nonprofits I make. It just isn't that much of a factor to me since it would impact my taxes negligibly.

IF PALIN IS SO QUALIFIED...

Then why didn't she run for president?

The Tale of Joe the Senator and Joe the Plumber

McCain won the Debate by Introducing the Desires of Hard Working Americans to get Ahead Back into the Race in the Form of Joe the Plumber-

Joe the Plumber now has a voice, speaking for the middle and upper middle class, trying to get ahead. The REAL Rich has been represented by Penny Pritzker's Candidate. Joe said, sure today it's people making over 250K that will get killed by Obama's taxes, but soon, as Obama's agenda gets more expensive, it will be people making 150K, and so on...it's like that old saying about not speaking out when someone comes for your neighbors....soon there will no one left to speak out when someone comes for you.

Biden made over 245K(!just under the cut off!) a year over the past 10 years and gave less than $370/yr to charity!; But he feels it's "Patriotic" to ask Everyone ELSE to redistribute THEIR earnings.

You know Joe the Senator, LOTS of us wouldn't mind pulling down 245K a year, not paying higher taxes, not giving much to charity....JUST LIKE YOU!

Adjusted Biden
Gross Income Charity

1998 $215,432 $195

1999 $210,797 $120

2000 $219,953 $360

2001 $220,712 $360

2002 $227,811 $260

Thanks for that update. With all the issues involved in the current state of affairs in this world, knowing how the press are treated on an airplane ride is on top of the list. So many people would say that the media are a bunch of self-indulgent, narcissistic sycophants. But this news sheds more light: you're just simple folks like the rest of us, and we should take more time out of our busy lives to care about your ride on the plane.

Of course she is playing nice. She wants to silence the press about the illegal instulations of cell pole that MCCAIN has received from AT&T and verizon. He is guilty of the same crimes as Sen Ted Stevens. Why isn't he being investigated?

My daughter manages the store where Cindy buys her shoes. "She is a very nice person and quite unassuming".....I think all of the Stepford Wives are, but I did not say that to my daughter.

In the debates McCain didn't reveal the full extent of his temper. One could see the impatience, perhaps anger at being bested by Obama, time and time again. Darn, the young Havard lawyer! He won't let me shine!

But like the before & after of a marriage, once securely in place as US President, then he could let his tiger out of the cooped up crouch in the cage. Reporters who don't tow the line, wouldn't be asked back. Foreign leaders, being non-country McCain types, would get an ear full.

Bush also had his good & bad list of leaders. Some he'd talk with others had to wait 7 1/2 yrs (Iran's leaders, for example).

Both men, Bush & McCain have their pseudo "amicable" media persona, but behind the controlled public image is someone else.

In McCain's case, I've seen enough in the three debates to detect a grouchy, irascible, self-centered political wannabee. J.F.Kennedy kept his calm, whilst his generals wanted to start a fire (Cuba crisis). Reagan brought down the communist wall across Europe & the world.

Erratic, short-tempered McCain, on the other hand, is not equipped with such control of his emotions or intellectual wisdom.

Should Palin become US President - may the ancient gods help us all (not the three christian gods) - all of the above applies equally to her & her quick-draw solve- everything-in-a-jiffy modus operandi.

Absolutely fascinating. Cindy McCain seems to understand the use of honey and vinegar. She shares candy bars - honey - with media followers. Pretty smart. John McCain should try using more honey and less vinegar. ..............

I'm not surprised that Grampy McCain is getting his butt kicked in this election because I'm still trying to figure out what the McCain campaign message is, other than?:
.
"Don't vote for the scary black guy"
-MCCAIN/PALIN 08!

ARE ROGUE ELEMENTS FROM WITHIN A DANGER TO OBAMA AND BIDEN AND DEMOCRACY ITSELF?

The GOP haS used official and unofficial invective to declare an open season on Sen. Obama. The threats issued by the rally crowds are now being denied in some quarters, such as Drudge.

Congressional leaders should speak out and demand that the enforcers of the law of the land live up to their sworn oaths and fuly investigate who is behind these threats.

CABINET SECRETARIES WITH AUTHORITY OVER U.S. SECURITY FORCES MUST TAKE ACTION FROM WITHIN...

THE DANGER IS THAT A ROGUE ELEMENT WITHIN THE SECURITY FORCES MAY BE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
