Ah, yes, the sainted, uneducated, high tattoo-to-tooth ratio, willfully ignorant, truck-driving, Bud-swilling, Bible-thumping trailer-park trash that will fall for ANYTHING hitched to a picture of baby Jesus. The true, authentic, beating heart of American greatness. Give me a break.
What the “small town values” crowd sees is an America that is increasingly urban, cosmopolitan, multicultural, multiracial, no longer exclusively (or even mostly) Protestant, increasingly secular and increasingly woven into the fabric of an emerging and fulminant global civilization--and it scares the living bug dung out of them, because it means that things are going to change very fast. The world doesn't belong to Baptists, there's nothing anybody can do to stop it, and they (and their children) are going to have to live in it.
In other words, they're reactionary. Sleep tight. Don't let the Barack Bugs bite.

I didn't watch it, but here's a recent lie from Dana Milbank:

He's lied before, as well as smeared Palin's supporters, but that's the latest (that I've seen, there might be other, more recent lies.)
