White House

Barney Gets Territorial

Not everyone in the White House is taking the news of Barack Obama's victory with aplomb.

Reuters television White House correspondent Jon Decker reports that President Bush's dog Barney, going on a walk this morning on the North Lawn, let his reaction to the news show.

He "bit my right index finger this morning -- as I reached down to pet him," Decker said. The bite broke skin and the wound was bleeding enough to prompt White House physician Dr. Richard Tubb to treat Decker with antibiotics. He will also be getting a tetanus shot.

President Bush, speaking to staff and reporters today, called portions of the South Lawn "Barney's Playground."

Barney may be just protecting his turf from intruders, thinking about the coming intrusion from the promised Obama pooch.

Decker is an idiot - hopefully he's learned to never ever reach over a dog's head to pet them. Barney was already showing signs of stress - and the idiot reporter still comes in to pet him. Good for Barney.

I won't be sorry to see President Bush go, but I will miss Barney!

First Dog already got the news that soon another First Dog will replace him...he is just being territorial...some of the Bush's cronies are already leaving such as Ms. Julie Myers, head of the infamous Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)....who already showed some bias towards African-Americans last year on halloween day when she awarded the first price to an ICE White employee wearing a prison outfit and covered his face with black paint. Ms. Myers explanation: she believed the employee was indeed a Black employee?

Maybe Obama can keep more than just Bob Gates from the old administration...
