Behind the Scenes with Barack Obama
By Garance Franke-Ruta
As the Nov. 5 editions of newspapers across the country have sold out their runs -- and even reprints of those runs -- certain Election Night images of Barack, Michelle, Malia and Sasha Obama have started to take on an iconic quality.
Now the man and family behind the iconic images have released a set of 82 election-night photos from President-elect Obama's photographer, to fill out the historical record of that night. The shots, posted on "Barack Obama's photostream" on Flickr, the popular photo-sharing site, include images of Obama and his wife sitting on a couch waiting for results, Obama slumping; Sasha playing what looks like patty-cake with a young man; Malia giving her dad a last-minute fist-bump; and a heartfelt hug between Obama and his campaign manager, David Plouffe.

Our 44th president rode into town on the horse of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who was shot on 4/4/68, exactly 40 years and 7 months ago.

Who cares pastor123? I am just enjoying the moment. President Obama and soon-to-be Administration have got a lot of work cut out for themselves with fixing the Bush Presidency (and a lot of fellow Republicans) MESS!
If a first term Obama Presidency puts our economy back on the right track (i.e. boosting job growth, confident financial markets and energy independence), expands health care coverage for children (SCHIP), puts plans into place to end the war in Iraq over the next two years while securing Aghanistan while being open and engaging with the American people in all forms of media (i.e. TV, radio, & Internet), it won't matter who runs against Obama in 2012!
