Biden Visits His New Home
By Anne E. Kornblut
Another quiet day is on the horizon for President-elect Barack Obama, who is holding private meetings in Chicago -- and not planning any major announcements, advisers have said, until, at earliest, next week.
The big event of the day is a meeting between Vice President Dick Cheney and Vice President-elect Joe Biden and their wives, at 5:15 p.m. Eastern time at the Naval Observatory.
Will the usually verbose Biden out-talk the dry, to-the-point Cheney? Will the current vice president share directions to his "undisclosed location"? Doubtful we will find out. But the Obama campaign has promised to release an official photograph of the two families together at the end.
