Handover or Hand-Me-Down?

By Al Kamen
There apparently was a momentary pause last week in the exchanges of draft agreements over wording of a memorandum of understanding between the Bush administration and the Obama team that would set up the procedures of how the transition was to work, what access would be given to the new folks, and so forth. The Obama team is said to have wanted some adjustments to the administration draft.

But it was quickly resolved, we hear, when it became evident that the wording used by the Bush team was drawn from the wording of the outgoing Clinton administration proposal when it was in transition negotiations with the incoming Bush team in 2000.

The Obama team was told that the author of the Clinton proposal was then-chief of staff John Podesta.

Oh. Never mind.

My Favorite Latin American Country-Peru;

has come up with a Peruvian Breed the Ancient Inca's Cherished-For the Obamas!

It's Hairless-But Cute!

I Pray Obama takes "Machu Picchu"(The Dog's Recommended Name) with Gratitude! :-)

In any event-way to go Peru!

Did they discuss pardons for the Bush criminal enterprise? Safe haven for members of the Bush Crime Family? Return the billions stolen and we won't prosecute?
