Obama's Half-Brother, News in China

New York magazine reports that, "thanks to this Chinese news report -- it's entirely in Mandarin -- the world is getting its first look at Obama's half-brother Mark Ndesandjo, who has lived in Shenzen, China for the last few years.

"In addition to running an Internet company, World Nexus, Ndesandjo spends his days teaching orphans to play the piano and practicing calligraphy. So, basically, he makes most people look like lazy wastes of space, just like his half-brother."

The reports comes by way of Shanghaiist, part of the "istaverse" network of local news and culture blogs, and was posted on YouTube on Nov. 7. Blogger Thomas Crampton has aggregated a number of news reports about Ndesandjo, who is the son of Obama's late father and American Ruth Nidesand, as well. A source in the know says the report that's hitting the Web is old footage -- a sign that even in these globalized and highly-technological times, it can take a while for it to whip around the world.

JakeDuh, when will you stop beating the dead horse of right wing b.s. regarding the birth certificate and focus instead on the mouldering corpse of the GOP? Or just focus on your golf game, like the fake fat cat you claim to be? You can play the word game all you want, but Barack HUSSEIN Obama is a legitimate citizen of the US and will be the 44th President of this country. Seriously, like Asperturd, don't you have a more dignified way to earn a living than shoveling sh*t on a board? The election is over...

Get this straight: Yes Obama does have a half brother name Mark. He was mentioned in his book 'Dreams From My Father'. This brother, Mark, was born and once lived in Kenya. His father is Obama Sr., and his mother Ruth Niedsand (another white woman) was American born, but currently a citizen and resides in Kenya. Obama Sr. married her and took her back with him to live in Kenya when he left the USA. So this is not news. Any one who read Barack Obama's book knows this little piece of information.

PS:) As far as whether or not Barack is a natural born citizen, nothing will satisfy you people that's demonstrated. Because that's the way it works in your minds... you simply don't want him to be president so you're not going to let nothing that's presented be legal. That's why you're largely being ignored except on the blogs. All of the court cases etc. is not going to work in your favor. It's just a waste of time and energy, because he will be the President come January 20th 2009.

Let me repeat: Dr. Funkino did NOT verify that Obama was born in Hawaii. She has verified that Obama has a birth certificate on file in accordance with Hawaiian law. Those are two very different statements.

jake d you need a hobby other than lmaing yourself look loke a moron.

Obama's birth certificate has proven he was born in Hawaii. The head of the Vital Statistics said that seals on a Hawaooan birth certificate are on the BACK rather than the front as in Ca. He verified he was born in Hawaii and the certificate is valid.

You show how ignorant you are repeatedly. Do you actually believe he would be where he is today without a legal birth certificate?

Also, are we sure that they are half-brothers? STFU

Do you have oxygen where you live?

For those with the birth certificate concerns, how about a quick primer on immigration policy: Obama's mother was an American citizen; thus, so is he. This is more than sufficient to establish his eligibility to serve in the office of President.

Let go of your campaign lie diversions and join the rest of us in focusing on improving our country and the well-being of our world!

Dear JakeD: It's been so long since we've heard your diatribes against Obama,...and now it's time for the birth certificate. Let's make a deal: We get another official word from an impartial group (already done, but you didn't buy it, so we'll do it again for the noodniks), and you agree not to post a word for forty years and forty nights. A deal?

More important than that question, of course, is whether Obama is a "natural born" citizen, which is a requirement for holding the office of the Presidency.

Now the Director of the Department of Health of Hawaii has issued an "Official Statement" saying that she has verified that Obama has a birth certificate on file in accordance with Hawaiian law. However, Dr. Funkino did NOT state that Obama was born in Hawaii. Why is that? Why won't Obama allow his original LONG FORM birth certificate to be released.

Keep in mind that Obama can have a birth certificate on file in accordance with Hawaiian state law and still be born outside the USA. There was also a birth announcement in a Hawaiian newspaper, but thhat does not prove anything either way. For example, when my daughter was born in Germany (while I was serving overseas with the military) my mother put a birth announcement in the local newspaper. She paid for it and to save money she did not mention Germany.

So, bottom line, there are enough questions pending to have Obama produce the original LONG FORM birth certificate. No tin hats, no sour grapes, no hate. Just wanting the facts and to follow the Constitution.

I realize you're simply reporting what New York Magazine reported, but the Chinese report is done in Cantonese, not Mandarin.
