Bush's Last Camp David Christmas

President Bush headed to Camp David today for his last Christmas at the presidential retreat, which also served as the Bush family's holiday spot when his father was in the White House.

This Thursday will mark Bush's 12th Christmas at Camp David, including the four Christmases he spent there from 1989 to 1992, according to White House spokesman Tony Fratto. Those expected to join Bush and first lady Laura Bush are his father, George H.W. Bush, and mother, Barbara Bush; daughters Barbara and Jenna and new son-in-law, Henry Hager; and siblings, including former Florida governor Jeb Bush.

"He has spent every Christmas at Camp David as president," Fratto said. "...So the president and his family are looking forward to that."

The last Camp David Christmas will be followed by a final presidential trip to the Bush family ranch in Crawford, Tex., on Friday, for a weeklong stay. While President-elect Barack Obama takes in the beaches of Hawaii, President Bush will have a final chance at clearing brush and riding his mountain bike around his 1600-acre Texas property, known formally as Prairie Chapel Ranch.

The ranch is destined to remain a second home for Bush after he leaves office on Jan. 20: He and the first lady are planning to live primarily in a new home they recently purchased in a tony neighborhood of Dallas. The home will put the couple close to the site of a new George W. Bush Presidential Center, including a library and museum, at Southern Methodist University.

George Walker Bush will go down as the laziest President in American history who had taken over 897 in holidays in his first six years as President. To bad they couldn't strip old George Walker Bush of all his wealth for his screwups and blunders of the past eight years. It would be deserving to throw George Bush out onto the streets and he would be forced to live like a homeless bum. Maybe next Christmas he could have turkey at the nearest homeless shelter. Good riddance to the Ahole come January 20, 2009.
