POTUS Events
President Obama starts his day at 8 a.m. at the National Prayer Breakfast, held at the Washington Hilton. That event is followed by his daily briefing at 9:45 a.m. and his economic briefing at 10:15 a.m. at the White House. The president meets with senior advisers at 10:45 a.m.
At 11 a.m., Obama will sign an executive order in the Oval Office that calls for the creation of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
Around noon, Obama is expected to deliver remarks at the Department of Energy.
Vice President Biden joins Obama at 3:00 p.m. for a meeting with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. At 3:45 p.m., Obama and Biden meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
At 6 p.m. Obama travels to Williamsburg, Va. where he will deliver remarks at the House Democratic Issues Conference.
Obama is expected to return to the White House by 10:00 p.m.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs delivers the press briefing at 1:30 p.m.
