POTUS Events: Obama to Canada

President Obama travels Ottawa today to meet with Canadian Prime Minster Stephen Harper and other Canadian officials.
At 10:30 a.m. ET, Air Force One will arrive at Ottawa International Airport. The president will be greeted on the tarmac by Canadian Governor General Michaëlle Jean and her husband, Jean-Daniel Lafond, as well as Canadian ambassador to the U.S., Michael Wilson, and the U.S. charge d'affaires in Canada, Terry Breese.
At 11:40 a.m., Obama will arrive at Parliament Hill where he will hold a brief meeting with Prime Minister Harper in his office.
At 12:55 p.m., Obama will hold a working lunch with Mr. Harper in the Senate Speaker's dining lounge. Joining them will include members of Obama's delegation, including national security adviser James L. Jones chairman of the National Economic Council Lawrence H. Summers White House energy and climate coordinator Carole M. Browner counterterrorism adviser John Brennan, Deputy Secretary of State James B. Steinberg and White House spokesman Robert Gibbs.
At 2:45 p.m., Obama and Harper will hold a joint news conference in the Reading Room on the second floor of Centre Block.
At 4:00 p.m., Obama will meet with Liberal party leader Michael Ignatieff at the Ottawa International Airport's Canada Reception Centre. Obama will also meet with staff from the U.S. Embassy.
President Obama will board Air Force One to depart for Washington, D.C., at 4:30 p.m.

This is where his campaign rhetoric on NAFTA and free trade in general goes pout the window. He can't go all populist on the Canadians home turf - and on his first visit no less.
