Obama and Hillary Bury the Snub Once and For All

There was no snub this year, now that he is president and she is secretary of state.

The scene was a world away from that of last year's State of the Union address, where Obama's and Clinton's icy interaction on the floor of the House of Representatives at the height of their bitter presidential primary battle came to be known as "The Snub." (The "snub" lives in infamy on the Internet, as you can see in this YouTube clip from MSNBC's "Hardball.")
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) was so thrilled to see Obama kiss Clinton Tuesday night that she felt compelled to live Tweet her feelings on the matter.
"The warm greeting between Pres Obama & Sec Clinton makes me proud of our democracy. What a difference a year makes," McCaskill wrote to her many followers on Twitter.
