President Obama's day officially kicks off with his routine presidential briefing at 9:15 a.m., followed by his routine economic briefing at 9:45 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., he meets with his senior advisers.
Next, he meets with Paul Volcker, a top economic adviser to his administration. They are expected to introduce members of Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board at 11:15 a.m.
Around 3:30 p.m. Obama meets with people whose family members were victims of the 9/11 attacks and the USS Cole bombing.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs delivers the daily press briefing at 1:30 p.m.
