President Obama starts his day with his routine presidential briefing at 9:15 a.m., followed by his economic briefing at 9:45 a.m.

At 10:15 a.m. he'll discuss the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in an address before the National Governors Association in the State Dining Room.

Around 1 p.m., Vice President Biden will join Obama as he delivers opening remarks from the East Room of the White House at a Fiscal Responsibility Summit -- a gathering of lawmakers and policy experts, selected by Obama to propose new steps toward managing entitlement reform and the budget. He'll deliver the closing remarks at 4 p.m. from the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs will hold the daily press briefing at 2:00 p.m.
