President Obama starts his day with his routine briefing at 9:30 a.m., followed by his daily economic briefing at 10:00 a.m and a meeting with his senior advisers at 10:30 a.m.
At 11:00 a.m., Obama is expected to nominate Sen. Judd Gregg (R-N.H.) to serve as commerce secretary.
Starting at 3:30 p.m., Obama will sit down for broadcast network interviews in the Oval Office with ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox News.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs delivers the daily press briefing at 1:30 p.m.
