President Obama begins his day with his routine briefing at 9:30 a.m., followed by the economic briefing at 10:00 a.m. and a meeting with his senior advisers at 10:30 a.m.

At 1:00 p.m., Obama kicks off the White House Forum on Health Reform with remarks about his goals to improve the nation's health care system. Forum attendees -- lawmakers, policy experts, businessmen and insurers from both sides of the political aisle -- are then expected to exchange ideas about cutting health care costs and expanding coverage.

Following the Forum, Obama sits down with Treasury Secretary TImothy Geithner at 2:30 p.m. in the Oval Office. At 4:00 p.m., he returns to the East Room to meet with forum participants.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs delivers the daily press briefing at 2:45 p.m.

Twenty percent increases in annual health insurance premiums are simply not acceptable.

You may not know it but AIG is one of the companies that underwrites your health insurance. So when real estate loans fail -
I'm supposed to pay more for health insurance to cover the loss?

The deregulation that made it possible to tear down the fire walls between banks, corporate stocks, lenders, and health care providers means we are paying for profit margins at every level in our premiums PLUS the cost of bailing out the companies that failed to cover their debt - with our tax dollars.

Too big to fail means too big to exist.
There's no way to save this system without a complete re-structuring.

The President is presenting the problem and asking for answers. Something besides NO! PLEASE!

RE: BUSH DOJ LEGAL MEMOS APPROVING DOMESTIC TORTURE VIA MICROWAVE RADIATION WEAPONRY

Scribes, correspondents and producers:

Still-secret Bush Justice Department memos are believed to have approved the covert use of classified, silent microwave radiation weapons on U.S. citizens -- "targeted" under the pretext of the "war on terror" as "undesirables" and "dissidents."

Victims, including the journalist who authored the articles linked below, say these painful, debilitating and illness-inducing microwave assaults constitute torture and "slow-kill" (a military descriptive) homicide -- what could be described as an American genocide.

Victims of these assaults say their family finances are decimated by an array of secret "programs of personal financial destruction" that involve the forced cooperation of private enterprise; surveillance and interception of mail and telecommunications; and the forging of billing, utility, banking and mortgage statements -- what they charge is a process of expropriation and theft by deception.

Sources say these covert programs were justified by the Bush Justice Department under legal theories that are said to include a suspected "nexus to terrorism" and, according to a source, the legal theory that weapons and/or medical experimentation on U.S. citizens is permissible if subjects are under federal investigation for suspected offenses.

These microwave weapons assaults have continued under the Obama administration, and are facilitated by an "extrajudicial punishment network" enabled by federal agencies; local police nationwide; and "community gang stalker" citizen vigilantes fronted by government-funded community policing and volunteer organizations.

***

Victims have asked the FBI/Justice Department to launch a civil rights investigation. They say officials have told them they see nothing to investigate, and hint that victim accounts are delusional.

Victims maintain that marginalizing the persecuted as "unstable" or "mentally ill" is a tactic being used to cover up crimes against humanity, a highly organized and well-funded social genocide.

TEAM OBAMA: WHAT DO YOUR BUSH HOLD-OVERS KNOW ABOUT THIS:

• Silent, covert microwave radiation weapons assaults on innocent but "targeted" U.S. citizens;

• Terroristic vigilante community gang stalking, surreptitious home entry, police-tolerated vandalism;

• Secret federal "programs of personal financial destruction."

• The Obama administration has hit the ground stumbling (Thank you Bernard McGurk on Imus in the Morning).

• Subsidies to failing banks and corporations are being handed out by the perpetrators of the collapse of financial services. The stimulus law became a fruit salad of odds and ends hanging around in Washington think tanks for months. The policies announced for Iraq and Afghanistan fall short of inspiration and will cost another $150 billion..

• So it should come as no surprise to discover that grand rhetoric about authentic health care reform is shrinking into bite-sized platitudes minted by the same old lobbyists: first steps, down payments, electronic medical records, cancer, rural health services, autism and secrecy.

• Yours truly has asked the White House repeatedly for the list of people invited to the health care “summit” on March 5. The answer glistens with all the transparency Obama promised: No.

• The web has been plastered with news stories and features from all the best news sources. Read them again if you think you missed something the first time through. You haven’t. There is little substance to all the talk, and from the little we have been told, the “summit” is another gathering of the usual suspects.

• None of the talk comes anywhere near the cutting edge: are all the low and middle-income people going to be herded into managed care? Will people who get sick be stigmatized, denied access to quality specialty care, sentenced to “preventatitive” care, and lectured about their bad habits? Will we continue to crawl forward political constituency by political constituency? Will the people who brought us to the brink of a Greater Depression carry on for the months to come about the Free Market? Will the usual suspects issue another murky communiqué and then run? Tune in Thursday.
