POTUS Events: Getting Down to Business

President Obama starts his day with his routine economic meeting at 9:15 a.m., followed by his presidential briefing at 10:00 a.m. and a meeting with his senior advisers at 10:30 a.m.
At 11:00 a.m., Obama addresses the Recovery Act Implementation Conference. He's expected to discuss the need for transparency in spending funds provided by the $787 billion economic stimulus bill. Vice President Biden and cabinet secretaries are slated to speak as well.
In the afternoon, around 1:15 p.m., the president delivers remarks at National Defense University, during the dedication of Abraham Lincoln Hall.
Obama and and Biden meet about an hour later with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi in the Oval Office. At 4 p.m., Obama participates in a business roundtable discussion at the St. Regis Hotel.
Around 5:15, Obama and Biden sit down with Secretary of State Clinton in the Oval Office.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs delivers the daily press briefing at 1:30 p.m.
