Obama to Deliver Three Commencement Addresses

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs announced that President Obama will serve as commencement speaker at three different institutions of higher learning -- Arizona State University, the University of Notre Dame and the United States Naval Academy.
Obama, Gibbs said at the daily White House briefing, will address Arizona State University on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, the University of Notre Dame on Sunday, May 17, 2009, and the United States Naval Academy on Friday, May 22, 2009.

John McCain's son is graduating from the Naval Academy this year. Given that Senator McCain is also an Academy grad, it would be an admirable gesture if President Obama steps aside and invites Mr. McCain to give the address instead.
