POTUS Events: Afghanistan

President Obama will announce today at 9:30 a.m. ET that he plans on sending 4,000 additional troops to Afghanistan. In addition to outlining his strategy for Afghanistan, he will also discuss future plans for engaging Pakistan.
At 10:30 a.m. ET, President Obama will speak at Attorney General Eric Holder's installation and swearing-in ceremony at George Washington University.
He'll receive his daily intelligence and economic briefings later than usual, at 11:15 a.m. ET, in the Oval Office. Following his briefings, he meets with a group of leaders from financial companies, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo and others, in the State Dining room.
President Obama will leave for Camp David at 6:00 p.m. tonight.
The daily White House press briefing will take place at 1:30 p.m. ET.
