Obama Headlining Two Fundraisers Tonight

By Michael A. Fletcher
President Obama is scheduled to headline his first political fundraisers since becoming president tonight. First, he was to speak at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, where he will address an audience that paid as much as $30,400 per couple for tickets. Later, the president was to appear at the Warner Theater for an event where tickets were going for as much as $2,500. Both events will benefit the Democratic National Committee.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs brushed aside any suggestion that the president's fundraising was unseemly during the economic downturn, saying the president would acknowledge the dire fiscal climate in his remarks. Moreover, he said, "We haven't seen politics by either party stop in this period."

Did you know that George Soros would not be a billionaire, if it were not for the international language Esperanto?

The Forbes Rich List places Soros as the 28th most wealthy person in the World.

Born in Hungary in 1930 as Gyorgy Schwartz, the family changed its name in 1936 to Soros, which in Esperanto means "to soar" . The Soros name change was an effort to protect the Jewish family from the rise of fascist rulers and the whole family spoke Esperanto at home.
As a native Esperanto speaker, (someone who has spoken Esperanto from birth), George Soros defected to the West in 1946, while attending an Esperanto youth meeting in Berne, Switzerland.
Esperanto enabled Soros both to defect, and to become a billionaire.

It is nice to know that the "RICH" still have money to give "Big Brother Obama" I am sure George Soros and Al Sharpton wrote big checks, they have so much money they don't know what to do with it.

But "Big Brother Obama knows what to do he plans to use "Fundamental Change" to redistribute it from the few to the many.

George Soros and Al Sharpton won't mind and neither will all those that are attending these events.

For a Democrat, it sure sounds like mgd1 spends a lot of time watching Fox News.

Clearly there are elite wealthy Democrats who can afford to GIVE their money to the Obamas. So they should PAY for his budget instead of taxing this poor Democrat who could not afford to buy Obama's "snocap for change" or "Christmas ornament for change" or "Poster 186 for change" or even the "2009 claendar for change".

Let these Obama donors - big and small - pay for his "budget for change" and let me pay my mortgage!
