Really? Independents like me (and even some Democrats), not just Republicans, are against Obama too. And, I haven't heard ANYONE (let alone Limbaugh, Hannity, or O'Reilly) complain about how much we spend per year for Obama.

Notice that all the "nobamas" that post here have no mind of their own or original opinions - instead, they spout Fox News "talking points" - like the telepromter thing. That's all Rush "Limbo", Sean Hannidy, Bill O'Reily, and the other talking heads have been saying lately...the telepromter this and the telepromter that..blah..blah..blah. My suggestion - watch some real news.

You can give a Republican the facts - but you can't make him think. Sad.

If lying to people, appointing crooks, reading a teleprompter, and spending money you don't have are attributes of a create president who brings hope, then I think all the people on teh Special Olympics team are better qualified than B. Hussein Oblahablah

Nobama, your village just called. They want their idiot back now, so you'll have to get off the computer at the library and go back to drooling about how great Bush was and how well the Republicans have handled things.

Moron. Talk about needing help from Special Olympics. Hell, you could be the poster boy but that would be demeaning to the rest of the retarded people. They can't help it.

Too bad that Kroft didn't ask whether Obama had a secret meeting with Gorbachev and why:

Kroft's "tough" question is about laughing?

Why didn't he ask Obama about Sy Hersh's revelation that Cheney ran an "executive
assassination ring" out of the White House...

...what the Obama administration knows about it...

...and whether any such authority has survived into his presidency?

Or can't Kroft "multi-task" his questions? His one-note samba betrays his mainstream media preoccupation with the "story of the day" to the exclusion of any other.

SPECIAL to Kroft, Leslie Stahl, CBS News/"60 Minutes" staff c/o D.C. bureau (please forward):

Where's the real story about the damage that's being done by HAND-HELD microwave radiation weaponry -- the "directed energy weapons" the Army DIDN'T tell your producers about when they did the "Active Denial System" story last year?

OR (if links are corrupted / disabled):

if you can read this message - thank George Bush for protecting your safety and your right to free speech.

Q: Why did Oblahblah only tax AIG 90%?
A: they needed to have some money left to continue giving Oblahblah contributions!

Obama has done nothing POSITIVE.
If spending money is a good qualification, then my friend's wife should be president.

Democracy is about voicing an opinion. Me and the 48% that didn't vote for the Teleprompter won't stand for him and his band of crooks.

Here is a hint for you oblameha heads - bush is not president. That routine works when you campaign, but OBLAME-a is president now.

Give us all a break, Obama, has done more for us than Bush did in 8 years, Bush and his Republican party got us in this mess, now shut up, sit down, and let Obama do his job to get us out of this mess.

And as for the

Comparing Oblahblah to Bush is irrelevant. Wrong is wrong, regardless of the Speaker, or the Teleprompter Reader.

I have ideas:
1. Don't appoint crooks
2. Stop taking campaign contributions from crooks
3. Lower taxes
4. Stop wasting money on pet projects
5. Remove earmarks

need I go on?

A good sense of "humor" is one thing. Making fun of kids with disabilities is another.

Posted by: JakeD | March 23, 2009 3:00 PM | Report abuse

I have never trusted a person who does not have a sense of humor. I think that one of the highest compliments one person can pay to another is to entrust them with their sense of humor. Humor is always a risk, and it's objective is to free oneself and others from some fixed perspective. Obama trusts the American people and the majority of people trust him--and his humor. All I can say to the rest of the folks is--have you considered taking a laxative?

If the press, like this paper, had not white washed Obama and covered the fact that he has no experience he would not be president. Obama is incompetent and this current plan is a complete sell out to those that own the Federal Reserve and the banks. This plan passes all of the toxic debt to We the People. Why was Geithner appointed, because he follows the directions of his bosses at the Federal Reserve. These toxic assets are going to be worthless the trillions of debt will crush what small chance we may have to try and work out of this. Cash for trash is an understatement.

Obama and Geithher should both resign and let someone with some ability handle this mess.

Obama is even dumber than critics imagined. After years of being petted and massaged by the liberal media, he has stepped into the real world completely unprepared for the task. This is horrible. And who is running Congress? barney Frank, Sandra Pelosi, Harry Reid . . . oh, God, no wonder the country is in a tailspin . . .

JakeD: "He will NEVER be my President."

An endorsement if I ever heard one!

It's not an accident that Obama and Dodd each received over $100,000 in campaign contributions from AIG. He will NEVER be my President.

Say what you will, you may not like every comment or his demeanor but the fact is Obama is doing quite a bit to help the economy, more than the previous admin. ever did, and in a short time.

Re: AIG - The bonuses were fought for, approved, and probably issued as part of TARP 1 by the Bush admin. This was discussed openly with the house ways and means committee.

Re "Special Olympics comment": Has it occurred to anybody out there that Obama in his short tenure has already done more for physically or mentally disabled persons than any other President?

He realized his mistake and apologized for it.

Did it bother you when our previous President was pretending to be looking for WMDs behind his desk while our children were dying and having their limbs blown-off in Iraq?
when he went to Walter Reid and joked about needing a band-aid for a brush-cutting accident in front of wounded soldiers who had suffered brain damage?

What Obama did was insensitive, shameful?, no, see the latter.

My God get off his back. All we got out of the Croft interview is Obama's laugh? We must be the ones that are punch drunk. There was a lot of serious stuff in that interview. Perhaps a laugh at that moment was not the entirely appropriate response, but the guy inherited the biggest mess any President has fallen into since Roosevelt, and has responded to constant cacaphony of complaint from pundits and pols who haven't offered a single idea except criticism. Get off his back!
