POTUS Events: Women & Girls

President Obama attends his daily White House press briefing at 9:30 a.m. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner joins Obama at 10:00 a.m. for the president's routine economic briefing. At 10:30 a.m., Obama meets with his senior advisers.
Shortly before 11:30 a.m., Obama is expected to address his goal of pushing earmark reform, addressing the public from the Eisenhower Executive Office building.
At 1:00 p.m., he signs an executive order, creating the White House Council on Women and Girls, which will be chaired by Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett. Vice President Biden and the first lady are expected to join Obama during the signing ceremony.
He meets with Democratic members of the Senate Budget Committee and House Budget Committees late afternoon -- at 4 p.m. and 5:15 p.m., respectively.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs delivers the press briefing at 2:00 p.m.
