Biden To Open O's-Yankees Game
By Debbi Wilgoren
Vice President Biden will toss out the ceremonial first pitch for the Baltimore Orioles' season opener today against the New York Yankees, the White House announced this morning.
The game at Orioles Park at Camden Yards is scheduled to start at 4:05 p.m., moments before the Washington Nationals face off against the Florida Marlins in Miami.
The 68-year-old Biden, who played baseball as well as football in high school, will be joined at the pitcher's mound by eight boys and girls from the Baltimore Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) League, a Major League Baseball program to develop participation and interest in youth baseball in urban areas. The program is funded by the league and the Baltimore Orioles Charitable Foundation.

I hope he throws a good pitch and enjoys the game but nevertheless he is pretty much out of the loop in this administration.
