Obama to Host Passover Seder

By Michael A. Fletcher
President Obama and his family plan to mark the second night of Passover Thursday with friends and aides at a White House seder. The holiday celebrates the Jewish exodus from Egypt after 400 years of slavery and begins at sundown tonight.

The White House, which listed the event on the president's schedule, is being mum about any details of the dinner. Officials are sharing neither the guest list or menus, with a spokeswoman calling the dinner a "private" event.

Now, if we could just fit all those critics into the same boat off the coast of Somalia ...

hayden1:

YOU said (supposedly as some parody of Fox News: "Can't wait until 2012 when we have a GOP president who shows no respect to anyone. Now that is a real Manly-Man president."

Which PAST president were you referring to, then, who has shown no respect to anyone and claimed to be a real Manly-Man? Your hostility may actually reflect on your own sexuality, not mine.

scrivener50:

I don't believe that the American government is competent enough to actually pull off a conspiracy of that magnitude. I'm happy to keep chiding you about it though. It helps to lump ALL Bush critics into the same boat.

JakeD:

Let's just see if the Obama administration revises or reverses the Bush administration's active role in the proliferation of microwave laser radiation "directed energy weapons" to law enforcement...

...which has constant contact with innocent civilians who could be endangered by this weaponry's stealth silence and its ability to inflict undetectable harm -- the perfect torture/"slow kill" murder weapon.

And thank you for continuing to raise the issue in these forums. I may have to revise my belief that you are a paid disinformation agent (either that, or you're one who shares my belief that "rad weapons" should be BANNED as WMD and as a menace to the public and law enforcement personnel alike.

Fox News would never claim that Bush disrespected Jews or our military. Next canard?
--------------------
Of course not JakeD
Fox only claims Obama disrespects Jews and the military. By the way, I never mentioned Bush. You did.
Perhaps you are in desperate need of some Bush yourself JakeD, you sound bitter.

White the Rev. Wright may have "railed" against Israel's political, social and military policies and actions, I challenge you to come up with a verifiable quote that has Wright attacking Jews for their religious beliefs, their customs and traditions, or merely because Jewish blood runs through their veins. "Jews" and "Israel" are not synonymous.

Perhaps you spring from the inbred branch of the Duponts -- how else to explain your ignorant-sounding, opportunistic attack here?

scrivener50:

Assuming that no one at the White House initiates anything about "directed energy" weapons, how long will you be giving them the benefit of the doubt?

lennydupont:

See, below, re: "strawman" argument.

This reporter has it on good information that a seat at the White House seder table has been reserved for someone named "Elijah," and that a special cup of what Southsiders used to call "Mad Dog" has been set aside for him.

RE: Directed energy weapons

On the contrary, perhaps White House officials already have initiated inquiries into the "use" of these silent death rays on, and in the vicinity of, American citizens (including high officials of the government).

The results might help explain unexplained phenomena, cosmetic and physiological, reported by knowing and unknowing victims.

I was just doing my Fox News impersonation. Not bad, don't you think JakeD? :P

Talk about your "strawman" argument.

Posted by: JakeD | April 8, 2009 5:04 PM | Report abuse

That's right, hayden1, because Bush never showed any respect to Jews or our military. LOL!

Posted by: JakeD | April 8, 2009 4:00 PM | Report abuse

Obama is such an idiot. First he shows respect to the U.S. troops in Iraq and now he has the nerve to show respect to Jews. Obama is a jerk. Can't wait until 2012 when we have a GOP president who shows no respect to anyone. Now that is a real Manly-Man president.

Thank you for speaking out over the alleged "directed energy" weapon on every thread. However, I don't think you've answered how long you will give Obama-Biden until you realize that they are in on it too?
