The Official Presidential Flickr Photostream

President Obama and Vice President Biden practice putting on the South Lawn. (Pete Souza/The White House)

By Dan Eggen
Just in time for the "100 days" milestone, White House photographer Pete Souza has opened an "Official White House Photostream" on Flickr with several hundred photographs from President Obama's first months in office. Obama had a similar Flickr page during his Internet-savvy presidential campaign, and during the presidential transition.

The pictures run the gamut, from staff meetings to Obama tossing a football in the Oval Office. One poignant shot shows the young president strolling on the White House grounds with liberal lion Sen. Ted Kennedy, who is battling cancer and walks with the aid of a cane.

Dear Mr. President,

Bi-partisanship is a functional preoccupation of the Legislative Branch and the Executive Branches of Government. Let us hope for bi-partisanship during the next 100 days.

Mr. President, please watch out when you play golf with the vice president. His "I Joe Biden" policies are woefully obtused.

Mr. President, watch out if you play golf with the vice president. If he makes a hole in one, he will put zero on his card.

Dan Eggen:

Great job of reporting! I like how you completely avoided discussing why the U.S. gov't is giving such a huge gift to a private company and not others. I especially like how you avoided asking web experts just how much that private company will make off free advertising from this move.

Excellent work! You get two BHO Points!
