POTUS Events: Top Cops and Fit Workers

By Sarah Lovenheim President Obama starts his day with his routine presidential briefing at 9:45 a.m., followed by his economic briefing and then a meeting with senior advisers.
At 11:30 a.m., Obama attends a roundtable discussion with business leaders to discuss employer health care costs.
Around 2:30 p.m., he speaks at a ceremony paying tribute to Top Cops award winners in the Rose Garden. An hour later, the president is joined by Vice President Biden in a meeting with General Raymond Odierno and Ambassador Chris Hill. At 4:30 p.m., Biden and Obama meet with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.
Obama's evening commences with a poetry-reading event, held in the East Room at the White House. First lady Michelle Obama joins him.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs delivers the daily press briefing at 1:00 p.m.
