POTUS Events: Evaluating the Economy

President Obama starts his day with his routine presidential and economic briefings. At 10:00 a.m., he attends the first public meeting of the Presidential Economic Recovery Advisory Board at the White House.
In the early afternoon, Obama participates in a ceremony to officiate new foreign ambassadors. At 4:30 p.m., he is expected to sign the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act and the Fraud Enforcement and Recovery Act. About an hour later, he will chat by phone with the crew of the Space Shuttle Atlantis.
The president and first lady Michelle Obama host a reception for bipartisan members of the House at 7:30 p.m.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs delivers the press briefing at 1:00 p.m.
