POTUS Events: Sotomayor Selected

President Obama's first briefing of the day at 9:00 a.m. ET was followed by his announcement of Judge Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court at 10:15 a.m. He meets with his senior advisers at 1:00 p.m. ET.
By 4:15 p.m. ET, he's off to Andrews Air Force base to leave for Las Vegas, Nev. He arrives in Las Vegas just before 9:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. local time). At 11:00 p.m. ET (8:00 p.m. local time), he attends a fundraiser for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) at Caesar's Palace.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs holds the daily press briefing at 2:30 p.m. ET.
