POTUS Events: Touting the Stimulus
President Obama stays in the west today. He and Senator Harry Reid will tour a solar photovoltaic array at Nellis Air Force Base in Reid's native Nevada at 2:00 p.m. ET, 11:00 a.m. local time. After the tour, the president will deliver remarks on early results of the economic stimulus package at the Thunderbird Hangar at Nellis Air Force Base at 2:40 p.m. ET.
At 3:30 p.m. ET, he will leave Las Vegas for Los Angeles, Calif., arriving there at 4:35 p.m. ET. The president will attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at the Beverly Hills Hilton scheduled for 10:05 p.m. ET, 7:05 p.m. local time.
The White House press briefing with press secretary Robert Gibbs is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET.
