President Obama starts his day with his routine briefings, beginning at receives 9:30 a.m.
In the early afternoon, he meets with Vice President Biden over lunch. At 4:00 p.m., he talks with Treasury secretary Timothy Geithner in the Oval Office. Biden joins Obama for a 4:45 p.m. meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs holds the press briefing at 1:30 p.m.
