POTUS Events: From Egypt to Germany

President Obama began day two of his five-day trip abroad in Cairo at 2:40 a.m. ET ( 9:40 a.m. local time) at Quba Palace, where Egyptian government officials held a welcome ceremony in his honor. At 3:00 a.m. ET (10:00 a.m. local time), Obama attended a bilateral meeting with President Mubarak. Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton toured the Sultan Hassan Mosque at 4:50 a.m. ET (11:50 a.m. local time).

Obama delivered remarks to the Muslim world from Cairo University at 6:10 a.m. ET (1:10 p.m. local time).

At 8:45 a.m. ET (3:45 p.m. local time), Obama will tour the pyramids. He leaves Cairo for Germany at 11:00 a.m. ET (6:00 p.m. local time).
