POTUS Events: Meet the Press

President Obama starts his day with his routine presidential briefing at 9:15 a.m., followed by his economic briefing and sit-down with senior advisers.
Obama will hold a press conference from the Rose Garden at 12:30 p.m. Following the Q and A with reporters, he meets with Chilean president Michelle Bachelet at 2:15 p.m. Other government officials will be invited to attend once the two have first met privately.
The president then meets with Defense secretary Robert Gates at 4:45 p.m.
