POTUS Events: Stressing Service
President Obama receives his daily and economic briefings starting at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00, he and wife Michelle will participate in a "United We Serve" event to promote a service initiative by the administration.
At 2:00 p.m., Obama and Vice President Joe Biden meet with members of Congress to discuss immigration reform.
Obama meets with Treasury secretary Tim Geithner at 3:15 p.m. and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at 4:00 p.m. He'll huddle with his senior advisers at 4:30 p.m.
The president and vice president will host family of members of Congress for a picnic gathering on the White House lawn at 6:30 p.m.
The daily White House press briefing will be held at 1:30 p.m.
