POTUS Events: To the Midwest
President Obama begins his day with a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Balkenende of the Netherlands at 9:30 a.m. before an expanded meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Obama will receive his daily presidential and economic briefings, as well as meet with his senior advisers, later in the morning.
He will depart Andrews Air Force Base en route to Mt. Clemens, Mich., at 1:30 p.m., arriving at 2:45 p.m. At 3:40 p.m. he will deliver remarks on initiatives to encourage community college accessibility.
Obama will leave Michigan at 5:00 p.m. en route to St. Louis, Mo., to throw out the first pitch at the Major League Baseball All-Star game at 8:35 p.m. ET.
