POTUS Events: Q & A on Health Care

President Obama starts his day with his routine briefings. The Senate Judiciary Committee is slated to vote on Obama's nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to be an associate justice on the Supreme Court. The confirmation hearing starts at 10:00 a.m.

At 1:30 p.m., the president particiaptes in a tele-town hall at AARP and takes questions on his health-care reform goals.

At 4:00 p.m., Obama and Vice President Biden meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasury secretary Timothy Geithner to discuss the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue, with a focus on ideas concerning global economic recovery, North Korea and climate change. Following the meeting, Obama and Biden meet with the expanded delegations of the Dialogue in the Roosevelt Room of the White House.
