President Obama starts his day with his routine briefings. He heads to Raleigh, N.C., around 10:00 a.m. Around noon, he holds a town hall meeting on health-care reform at a local high school. At 2:45 p.m., Obama's departs for Bristol, Va.
At 4:15 p.m. in Bristol, Obama delivers remarks on health-care reform before Kroger Supermarket employees. In the evening, he returns to Washington. He's expected back at the White House by 7:30 p.m.

I certainly hope the Secret Service is on extra high alert when POTUS is in North Carolina.

My favorite part of these completely stage-managed and controlled "town hall" meetings is when some sincere person in the audience asks, "Mr. President, will you and Congress sign up for your new government health care option?"
What follows, as Obama hums and haws and weasels out of just saying "no" is comedy at its finest. Best thing on television.
