President Obama to Visit Dave After Spate of Sunday Beltway Interviews

By Lisa DeMoraes
One day after setting a presidential record by appearing on five Sunday Beltway shows in a single day, President Barack Obama will make more history when he becomes the first sitting U.S. President ever to visit David Letterman's "Late Show."

This coming Monday is the first night of the new 2009-10 TV season and Obama will be appearing almost immediately after the season debut of David Caruso's starring vehicle, "CSI: Miami," though he is not expected to weigh in on that and instead focus on lobbing for his health-care reform plan.

Obama last appeared on Letterman's show in September of '08 when he was running for president.

In appearing on Letterman's show, Obama will have just one day to rest up from a planned orgy of blah, blah, blah-ing with the Sunday morning Beltway shows. On Sunday, Obama will appear, not only on ABC's "This Week," but also NBC's "Meet the Press," CBS's "Face the Nation, " on CNN and on Univision. He's giving Fox News Channel a miss, as well as the Fox broadcast network which has in recent weeks steadfastly refused to pre-empt its primetime schedule for Obama news conferences or addresses to the joint session of Congress.

Hey, Obama lovers...
Why not get a movement going for Obama to have his own daily TV show? Call it the Obama-nation.

jhnjdy,

True victims are victims because they do not know who is their victimizer. You qualify on that basis for sure. You stopped your studies before you completed them. You need to finish your education.

Gator...We are the victims of Obama, he proves it everyday and so does the network news media.

Fox viewers do not want to see Fox to tell them what Obama said, they do not wish to be confused with what he actually said. If these viewers listened to Obama he might force them to think. After all avoidance of thinking was what drew them to Fox in the first place.
It is a win win for the Fox viewers. They do not have to be burdened with watching Obam and can feel like victims at the same time.

Fox knows its audience.

Letterman's ratings are down, however, I'm not sure having Obama on there will help.

The man is a narcistic compulsive liar. He needs his own TV show.

LETTERMAN GAMBIT EXACERBATES OBAMA FATIGUE

MEMO TO POTUS c/o Senior WH staff:

Mr. President:

You are being dangerously over-exposed in the media, reducing the effectiveness of your message.

The accounts of your "off-the-record" comment about rapper Kanye West's MTV antics underscore the point.

Please, sir, for the sake of your agenda, consider canceling your scheduled appearance on Letterman -- AND the "full Ginsburg" round of talk show appearances this week. Surely your time can be better spent by quietly working behind the scenes in support of your policy objectives.

Think about this: There was a good reason Elvis did not appear on any TV talk show after his breakout year...

Who needs more of Obama? Maybe Dave needs to boost his ratings but Obama needs to spend more time with his kids. We the people are sick and tired of seeing his face. I've decided to watch more of Fox. When he has the guts to face really tough questions then I'll tune in. So far everyone have been throwing soft ball questions. Get off my TV.

I'm getting that warm tingly feeling running down my leg, uh oooh wait I just wet myself.
I can't belief this is all the news.

BHO should spend more time trying to solve the country's problems and less time hanging with TV and media people who adore him.

I am sure Dave will have some very hard hitting questions.......

I hope Dave asks him if he supports the Senate DEFUNDING ACORN!

The criminal investigation of this band of street thugs should commence immediately.
